Belkans: 4 Destiny

Once, the Belkans ruled above all. Once, the inventions of the Belkans facilitated their conquest of the galaxy. Once, this warrior race was supreme. That time has long passed, and the ancient home of the Belkans instead houses another military force: the TSAB. Now confined to a Self-Governed Zone on Mid-Childa, the Belkans must choose for themselves whether they should return to their noble (but savage) warrior inclinations, or make do in a galaxy that has since passed their people by.

Disadvantage 5: Belkans are a proud people. In a time when they reigned, this pride was justified. Now, not quite as much. Once per story, when this disadvantage causes difficulty for you, gain one additional Destiny. If this is your first or second Disadvantage, it has no cost.

Bonus 0: Gain one of the following Skill Specialties- Tactics: Belkan Military, or Politics: Self-Governed Zone.

Status 1+: You are a Belkan.

Status 3-5: You are a Belkan Noble. While this does not mean as much as it has in times long past, you still have some pull, both in the Self-Governed Zone and with those who revere the Belkans of the past, for whatever reason.
--Purchase of Belkan Noble Status grants a -2 discount on one purchase of a specific Belkan Noble loresheet.

Secret 4: One tool of the Belkans has not had a chance to fade from public view, due to the myriad madmen attempting to use them to launch galaxy-wide conquests of their own: The Lost Logia. Once per story, you may recognize the source of current ails as stemming from a Lost Logia, though the Sage is the final arbiter on its appropriateness to the current story (no, a Lost Logia is not the reason that you woke up one morning with a wolf-ear headband).

0 Bonus: You gain a one-time -2 Destiny discount when purchasing one of the following as a second External style- Eight Legends, Crumbling Steel

0 Bonus: You gain a one-time -2 Destiny discount when purchasing one of the following as a second Internal style- Jade Spirit Sword, Three Kings

5 Technique: When you are in the Eight Legends stance and use Left-Right Ren Stroke, the amount of penalties you may ignore is increased to 15.

5 Technique: When you are in the Crumbling Steel stance and use Soaring Phoenix, you may Reply if your Defense exceeds the Attack roll by 5 or more points.
