  1. How the man would have yearned to be on the battlefield, to witness how the matter went, however, he had been bound to the isle, where he was studied, drawn of blood and tested. Sure he was no longer contageous, but he wasn't exactly leading a life he'd like to lead at the moment either. Both understanding and respectful of Charlie's reasonings, Ceryl would only approach the returned Uniana as he'd stand before her. "It's a shame Sarah doesn't have a trick like that. . . She has to roam off to make herself decent every time." It was an idle tease towards the cladden dragoness, a friendly gesture to make light of her return.
  2.
  3. "You're not too much harmed are you?" The inquiry was made, without being too invasive with an examining pair of eyes, peering over the alabaster woman's shoulders, arms, and what was exposed of her face and legs. Knowing full well damages attained in her larger form were likely to be present as well on her basic humanoid form.
  4.
  5. It was probably clear what he was looking for, by the fact that the supplies just for that, including what was clearly a preened shaft of Iron oak, completely skinned of its bark at that, intent of seeking her out before the battle, and fortunate enough to not have to deal with a 'it's too late' situation again like with Lenard. "It's good to see you are well, but when you have time, I think it's time for something quite long over due. The finishing touches on it, anyway." There was still an ore bag, of which now among the Tyrium and adamantium was what appeared to be a rather firm bullion of Mythril, at least as long as Ceryl's arm. and as thick as half of the forearm of that same limb. He was approaching her to see if she was available, but first a wellness check.
  6. (Ceryl Kynwright)
  7. Silent, uncomfortable acknowledgement follows. Fullshift deals with pain better, turns out. But she keeps her neutrality, doesn't look like a total wimp, y'know? That one time she got scarred on the butt felt a little bit worse. At least her scales will regrow with time, natural that they were to fullshift.
  8.
  9. She doesn't get any words out, before chuckling lowly at her child's antics. Admirable little thing, possibly inheriting her and Ophrem's man-hating tendencies. Oops.
  10.
  11. "I'll be fine in a few weeks, at worst." An unenthusiastic reply comes. She glances down and behind him, or whatever that bag was, and she continues to look incredibly bored and disinterested. Mostly fatigue, but also those things.
  12.
  13. "Yeah. Can knock that out in like, probably an hour or two, whatever it takes."
  14. (Alia A. Uniana)
  15. An hour or two? "Huh, does that mean you're not busy at the moment?" He figured she was in pain, but that she could maintain her cool and composed state meant something, that he could possibly get this done today inspite of that? Even still he'd smirk towards the woman once more, not even flinching at the woman's daughter's response.
  16.
  17. "Take it that one's yours?" he'd simply reply warmly, he wasn't one to get mad over what children had done, it was rather adorable that one would so proudly defend their mother, or rather, advise against smiling at them. Even still, Ceryl considerred Alia one of his true good friends, one of the few he had still for certain.
  18.
  19. With that asked however, both questions, it was clear this discussion could go two ways, avoiding the subject of doing the hour or two of work. Or otherwise. "There's actually three projects into this one task that needs a metal worker's learned hand. As well as a frostmage- mostly for coolant so that this baby doesn't burn in the process." With the word 'baby' came a pat upon a piece of Iron oak, one of two he collected with Sarah before coming to the island. The blue eyed Knight nodding as he'd simply look towards her.
  20.
  21. Did Alia still think this would only take an hour or two? Or did the estimate tripple?
  22. (Ceryl Kynwright)
  23. A little smirk, and she glances about thew area around them, her eyes following her child as she leaves.
  24.
  25. "I have a fun idea, actually. What you're asking, I know I could. Accomplish the intended . But I've taken on an apprentice, and I'd like to give her the opportunity to try her hands with your project. I've been real burnt out, and she's improving awful fast. I think she'd have fun working with it, yeah?"
  26.
  27. She grunts a little, with working herself to her feet, and crushes at her legs lightly, at the thin excuse for garb mostly just for letting her keep solid modesty whilst getting some nice, brisk air.
  28.
  29. "... The hell's she been, anyway?"
  30. (Alia A. Uniana)
