  1. MASOUKISHIN F: COFFIN OF THE END STORY SUMMARY
  2. TE spoiler guy !HccvJPE8Dk
  3.
  4. There is a dormant crossgate under Langran which is linked to Earth and is the one seen at the bottom of the stage in the final map of OG II, and when Euzeth was defeated the energy released reawakened it (in other words it's all Euzeth's fault). This prompted Yotennai to set her plans into motion. Yotennai is the prophet of the Volkruss cult, but to her the cult is only a tool she uses to achieve her goals. She was a sacrifice used to seal the three gods away and is imprisoned under Langran. She creates a fortress by sealing Langran from the outside and kidnapping the four Masoukishin, drawing their energy to power the barrier, and unleashes the magooki on the world. Also it turned out that Amala fell through the crossgate at the end of OG II and popped out in Ra Gias, where Yotennai fixes the Garilnagant and brainwashes her, and sends her to kill Shuu; Shuu defeats Amala and barely escapes Langran but the Neo Granzon is wrecked in the process; He re-brainwashes Amala, using her pre-existing dependence on a master (previously Euzeth) so that she's now his servant.
  5.
  6. Shuu heads over to the republic of Almera to pick up the battleship he had stashed away just in case, and gathers a force to break back into Langran and defeat Yotennai. Amnesiac Japanese surfacer Sakito, who winds up piloting the Reiblade, a top secret project by Almera that powers up by channeling ghosts, is one of them. For the first half of the game Sakito serves as the main character and it's basically about him growing as a person and whatever.
  7.
  8. With the help of Ibun, Shuu's group manages to break back into Langran and free the Masoukishin. They rally and confront Yotennai in her underground chamber below what was once the palace. Yotennai reveals that she ultimately plans on drawing energy from the astral world to power the coffin of the end, which will stop time for Ra Gias and free her. She messes up, though; As had been mentioned many times before, the three dark gods are created from the spirits of the dead giants, and the three gods recombine which results in the entire giant race returning (they also shoot her in the back and kill her when they return).
  9.
  10. The giants were the progenitors of intelligent life in Ra Gias, having given the humans knowledge and technology ages ago when they first arrived, but also used mankind as servants. They want to return things to as they were before and set out to brainwash all of Ra Gias, and are waiting for their king, who is the "brain" or queen ant of the giants, to fully awaken; For now humans are brought back to Langran to be brainwashed individually, but the king will be able to brainwash all of Ra Gias instantly.
  11.
  12. Humanity in the past didn't like being used as slaves and created an army of Zelvoids to fight the giants, and succeeded in destroying them. The giants didn't die, though; Instead their spirits turned into the three gods. When the three gods are defeated they revert into the giants, and when the giants are defeated they turn into the three gods; It's an endless cycle. Cyphis tells Masaki that the only way to stop this is to use the power of all of the elemental spirits to destroy the giants for good; By pitting the positive energy of the elementals against the negative energy of the giants, both are cancelled out permanently.
  13.
  14. The group fights its way back to Yotennai's chamber where the giant king Kadum Hakham reveals himself. The floor also crumbles away to reveal the one missing piece that they were missing all this time, the existence of the crossgate beneath Langran.
  15.
  16. Kadum Hakham reveals that the giants escaped to Ra Gias in order to use it as a shelter to evade something, but refuses to elaborate. He's soon defeated and falls to his knees, and starts to revert to the three dark gods, but Masaki does as Cyphis said and uses the power of all the elementals to finish him off. He doesn't seem to be completely destroyed, however, as the ground crumbles and he falls into the crossgate; It's thus unclear if he's really been defeated. Nevertheless, the elementals seem to be gone, and Masaki can't hear Cyphis' voice anymore. But he can still feel the wind.
  17.
  18. (But note that the positive and negative energies of the elementals and giants were supposed to cancel each other out completely, so if Kadum wasn't completely destroyed...)
  19.
  20. Also the Coffin worked by slowing down/stopping time which means all the events of Masoukishin 2/3/F took place in a small amount of time on the surface. (it's also suggested in DP that the Coffin was already starting to work by then).
  21.
  22. THE END
  23.
  24. (Incidentally,
  25. LOOSE ENDS THAT WERE TIED UP (hastily and half-assedly)
  26.
  27. Parsemute, that company introduced in 3 that hates Antilas and was one of the main antagonist factions in that game: Never seen, probably destroyed by the Magooki (i.e. those monsters Yotennai summoned)
  28.
  29. Loyola, the Shutedonias guy working with Parsemute against Antilas: Works with you to free the capital of Shutedonias from the magooki, dies.
  30.
  31. That moustache knight guy from Langran introduced at the beginning of 3 who was planning a coup: Langran is destroyed by the magooki before he can pull off his coup. He gets brainwashed by the giants and you kill him.
  32.
  33. Kingdom of Aerial: First mentioned in the ending, they were fine.
  34.
  35. The entire fucking country of Bagonia: First mentioned in the ending (also Kodek gets his only appearance in there). They're fine.
  36.
  37. Ohgain project: The thing introduced in 2 that they keep referring to as some sort of top secret project by Aerial to create a combining super robot or whatever. Never mentioned.
  38.
  39. Yotennai: She tries to draw on the power of the three gods but they combine into the giants and the black giant kills her.
  40.
  41. Gaen: He was originally created to be one of Yotennai's servants but had his memories erased for some reason. His right eye is cursed so he gouges it out. They kept making him out to be this big enigma for two (three if you count DP) fucking games and the whole thing is resolved in one scene. He's cursed to be a servant of Yotennai and the curse is in his eye so he removes the eye and now he's free. Hooray!
  42.
  43. The surviving terrorists from 3 who were plotting something: Never seen or mentioned.
  44.
  45. Zelvoid: The Zelvoids were weapons created to fight the giants in mankind's rebellion against them. The reason for there being lots of them is because they were basically suicide bombs.
  46.
  47. Why Cybuster looks like Zelvoid: Tudy saw records of the Zelvoid somewhere and designed Cybuster based on it while Wendy was asleep. That's seriously it.
  48.
  49. Volkruss cult: Yotennai doesn't give a shit and the magooki murders the shit out of them. Yotennai dies, all their bishops die, Volkruss dies for good.
  50.
  51. Eran's butler Rospaul- Falls of a cliff at the end of 3 and goes missing. In the ending Eran says he's going to go look for him. DID YOU THINK THAT WAS GOING TO BE A PLOT POINT WELL TOO BAD HE FOUND HIM IN BETWEEN THE GAMES AND NOW HE'S AT HOME RESTING
