Noriana Mizuru slowly pushed the large manor doors open, the soft groan of heavy wood upon its hinges giving her presence away. Cautiously she peeked inside, nervous of being somewhere new, but confident that this was the right place. Taking a few steps within, she'd close the door softly behind her, offering a warm smile to those she passed. Heels were muffled by the carpet until she paused near the edge, rather unsure of who she was looking for.
Ajisai Ito was standing in the hall with a few sheets in her hands, looking them over, apparantely there was a note abouit a new person arriving today for an interview and since nobody else was around, she was about to greet the newcomer and do the interview. As the door opens she looks up from the papers and eyes the Xaela. "Kon'nichiwa, here for the sign up and interview?" she smiles friendly.
Noriana Mizuru eyes lit up as the woman addressed her, head dipping with a quick nod. "Yes, ma'am, I do hope i am not here at a bad hour?" Her voice was soft, though put effort behind her words so they would carry. She'd take a few steps closer to the woman, boots clicking softly upon the marble in her approach. "My name is Noriana Mizuru, ma'am."
Ajisai Ito: "Hajimemashite, Norina-san. Watashi no name ha, Ajisai-desu" *She smiles and puts her flat right hand over the left fist* "Onegaishimasu, there is no need for such titles like ma'am or lady, just Ajisai is fine!" *the Raen speaks with a quite heavy doman accent that when she speaks in the common tongue* "Ajisai will do the interview with Norina-san, just a few question and explain what the trial is really nothing too bad"

Noriana Mizuru nodded along softly, dark painted lips curling into a smile as Ajisai introduced herself. The Xaela's head dipped once more in respect, though a soft snort escaped her nostrils as the interaction became more casual. LIps parting, she'd let a soft sigh of relief escape only for her smile to return toward Ajisai. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ajisai. I am ready when you are.... though I hope I did not need to bring anything for the, uhm... trial?"
Ajisai Ito: "Oh ie ie, this is not necessary at all, Ajisai will not spar Noriana-san or test has fast she can run" *She giggles* "The trial week is something what every new member has to go through. Just so our leader and the company officers see how Noriana-san is doing, of course it is recommended to partake in events that the company hosts like the fight night and ventures or just show up at the restaurant which is downstairs. After the week if the new member pass the trial, he will become a recruit...>
Ajisai Ito: so like... in the army?" *She nods and motions to the lounge* "Let's have a seat, hai?"
Noriana Mizuru "Fight night?" She muttered softly, more to herself than anything. But, at the mention of a restaurant just down stairs, her smile owuld widen with her excitement. "A restaurant here in the manor? The people of Eorzea surely have it right!" She'd grin at the thought of this. Her own accent was rather mild, her proficiency in the common tongue rather apparent, even if she took a moment for some words. "I, ah.. I suppose it would be like the army, yes. I will be sure to make an appearance."+
Noriana Mizuru would look toward the direction Ajisai gestured before giving the woman a slight nod. "Of course."
Ajisai Ito: "Have a seat, onegaishimasu"  *She smiles and motions to the sofa, while taking a seat aswell* "Hai, the fight night is held every second day of the week here at the company. Just friendly sparring among members and guests, there a coin prizes to win and of course the title of the Champion of the Week, that if Noriana-san is interested in of course. Ajisai participate every week and already won once. It is fun and a good workout. The restaurant, Soul of the Dragon is a doman restaurant, hai>
Ajisai Ito: Ajisai leads it. Noriana-san can take a look after the interview and it will open today aswell. But let's begin, hai? Just a few questions"
Noriana Mizuru took her seat first, hands coming to rest upon her lap. The thumb and index of her left hand gently pinched the white cloth of her skirt, anxiously rubbing it between them as she nodded to Aijsai. "It has been sometime since I have sparred, it would be lovely to experience such again, I look forward to it." As much as she enjoyed a workout, the mention of an authentic Doman restaurant is what excited her. "Oh I will be sure to have a look, Ma-.. Ah.. Ajisai. But yes, your questions, please."
Ajisai Ito nods. "Hai. Well then question number ichi" she shows one finger. "Why does Noriana-san wish to join the company and what is she seeking out of joining a mercenary company?"

Noriana Mizuru straightened her posture, the anxious fidgeting with her skirt coming to a halt as she thought over the question. "I needed stability. The adventurers guild was always a gamble, I'd be with someone one day, then off with someone else. As much as I love the adventure, I'd rather have someone reliable by my side."
Ajisai Ito nods and scribbles the answer down in her papers. "Hai. Question number ni" she shows two fingers. "What skills can Noriana-san provide to the company?"
Noriana Mizuru seemed much more confident with this question, her lips parting the moment Aijsai mentioned 'skills'. " I have gone to great lengths in practicing the Sharlayan ways.. I'm to act as support for those with much bigger blades." She grins at this. "However, I do know a thing or two if one gets too close... as is our way, yes? But yes, at the very least, I can give some form of entertainment with a card reading."
Ajisai Ito: "Ajisai does not wield a blade, Ajisai uses magicky aswell but that comes from a book" *She nods and scribbles the answer down, hopefully Culpora was able to read in doman, because Ajisai was not able to write in the common tongue* "Question number san" *she shows three fingers* "What has been Noriana-san's weakness in the past and how did she deal with it?
Noriana Mizuru 's heart skipped a beat at the question, her lips parting as she watched Aijsai with mild suspicion.  Her gaze would lower, again nibbling on the inside of her lower lip. "My weakness?" She repeats softly before cyan hues returned to the woman. "Well... I suppose my confidence blinded me once. After the fall of Doma, I thought I was alright on my own, I thought my name held meaning in these lands."  She'd shrug lightly, a weak smile resting upon painted lips. "I was naive.. and it took

Noriana Mizuru smiled softly as Ajisai spoke, though there was empathy in her frozen gaze. It had been sometime since she opened up to another, and it only made sense for the next question to come out. Her brow furrowed, now looking through Ajisai instead of at her. Her tone was lowered, but she spoke clearly, nodding once as she did so, as if her thoughts were the truth. "Leaving my family to the Empire.. It feels as if there's a magical phrase I could have spoken to have them see the light."
Ajisai Ito inhales deeply, it really was a rather harsh subject, also she have lost family to the Empire. "Gomen'nasai to hear that, Noriana-san... Ajisai... been through that aswell... Ajisai's aunt and uncle, who raised Ajisai and where Ajisai been living her whole life long... when Doma was destroyed they sent Ajisai away but themself did not want to leave....
