The wall infront of the exist is a metal mesh frame, and you can see into a large, opened topped ahngar. Like the one on the top floor, it is dimly red lit bye mergency lighting. You can make out some shadowy shapes, but you cannot make out anything distinct yet*

- completely dark.*

- [23:07] * Jacob_Dorn turns round to check the rear then turns to the door tapping the off button of his IRgogs
- [23:07] * Biorn drops to one knee and checks down sights into the roon.
- [23:08] <Gamemaster> *As you open the door, you see the far wall illuminated by light streaming through narrow slits in the ferrocrete. Snow blows in through it, and you can hear the howling of Boreas winds. The room is surprisingly intact, and contains several computer terminals. On the right wall, you see a larger gun port. YOu also see several reinforced, plexigalss windows. These are also port sized*

- [23:17] * ^Stephan^ picks up an object and throws it in the direction of the noise
- [23:18] <Gamemaster> *Suddenly, 3 White forms rise up behind the lead terminal. To your right, another two slender
- forms rise up from under another. You see immediately they are space worms, that withe in an aggressive manner as
- they pull themselve sup to standing height and hiss aggreesively*

- [23:19] <Dierson_Pyre> OPEN FIRE OPEN FIRE POUR IT ON
- [23:19] * Biorn makes a dive for the door
- [23:19] * Dierson_Pyre throws grenade at farthest target
- [23:20] * ^Stephan^ fires at the nearest worm with his gauss pistol
- [23:20] * ^Vane^ spins around and fumbles for a grenade to throw into the room.

- [23:27] <Gamemaster> *The first group of worms throw themselves towards you as you begin to bring your weapons up. Witha whip like motion, they single out Dierson, Biorn, and Stephan as they close in on your group. They lash out with their fangs at the group. Dierson attempts toi avoid the first worm, but fails as its jaws clamp down on his arm. *
- [23:27] <Gamemaster> *Dierson staggers back as electricity surges through the armour, but the worm fails to penetrate the armoured gautlet*
- [23:28] <Gamemaster> *The second worm lunges for Biron, who sidesteps it and with a large blow, stuns it, knocking it backwards*
- [23:28] <Gamemaster> *The third worm attempts to bite Stephan, but instead with a solid blow, the spaceworm falls
- backwards and drops to the ground unmoving*
- [23:30] * Dierson_Pyre attempts to draw combat knife to slit the worm open from head to tail
- [23:31] <Gamemaster> * Dierson misses the worm with the knifeas it releases its grip and falls to the floor writhing
- to get away*
- [23:32] * Dierson_Pyre falls back behind the rest of the group, stunned and shaking off the shock the worm delivered
- [23:32] <Gamemaster> *The other two worms rush to help the others, craling towards Dorn and Vane*
- [23:35] <Gamemaster> *With a vicious attack, the first worm latches on to Vanes shoulders, curling round his neck,
- and delivers a vicious bite to his helmet. An electric current shorts out his ir goggles, sending a bliding light
- into Vanes eyes temporarily blinding him*

- [23:36] * ^Vane^ falls backward on his ass.
- [23:37] <Gamemaster> *The other makes a move for Dorn, and lunges. With a swift sidestep, dorn moves away to the side and delivers a quick chop striking the worm mid air. It continues onwards, tumbling, and hits the back wall with a
- wet thud, writhing*
- [23:40] <Gamemaster> *Dorn moves towards the back of the room and bring shis foot down of the worm. It screams in
- pain as Dorn crushes its skull, killing instantly*

- [23:43] * ^Stephan^ fires at the last non-attacking worm with his gauss in arm
- [23:45] <Gamemaster> *With one shot, the Gauss slug hits the worm square on, and it explodes in a haze of blue*
- [23:49] * ^Vane^ tries to hold the worm with his left, while pulling out his magnum and firing on the worm.
- [23:50] <Gamemaster> *Vane manages to get hold of the worm, and pull it free. With a throw, he pitches the worm away and goes to ready his weapon*
- [23:53] <Gamemaster> *The space worm turns to face Dierson, and again lashes out with a strike*
- [23:54] <Gamemaster> *With a slash, dierson takes off the head off the space worm in one blow, and it tumbles into
- him, knocking both of them to the floor. Suddenly, the spaceworm that was unconcious begins to move again, and slides off in the other direction**
- [23:57] * Dierson_Pyre drops combat knife and draws Pulse laser pistol and takes aim at the closest worm
- [23:57] <Gamemaster> *The robotic voice comes through the vox system again: POWER FAILURE IMMINENT IN REDACTED in one minute. Containment breach, likely*
- [00:00] <Dierson_Pyre> (((a blue pulsing beam arches out and connects with the worm, raking down the creature from
- head to tail, the worm burns and pops, melting under the pulse laser)))
- [00:01] <Jacob_Dorn> WE better get the fuck out of here as We DO NOT WANT to be here then what ever is contained goes for a stroll
- [00:03] * ^Vane^ finally get's out his magnum, and defiantly shoots the retreating vermin.
- [00:03] <Dierson_Pyre> Aff, regroup...Biorn! get back on seeing if that wall can be blown
- [00:04] * Biorn scrambles to the wall and quickly checks it over
- [00:04] <Dierson_Pyre> You have 10 seconds to decide, then we try and make the other entrance
- [00:04] * Dierson_Pyre looks around and finds his combat knife and autorifle
- [00:04] * ^Vane^ holsters his side arm and brings his rifle back up, scanning the corridor.

- [00:11] <Biorn> We could make an exfil location here but the structural integraty of this room is comprimised enough that I can't promise the whole thing wont come down on our heads when I do.

- [00:14] * Biorn begin setting a satchel of C8 in the most one of the outside corners, so that it should only take out one of the rooms supporting sides

- [00:15] * ^Stephan^ evacuates the room
- [00:16] <Dierson_Pyre> keep coving the hall, the explosion may.....aggivate any other.....inhabitants....

- [00:17] <Jacob_Dorn> One bucket of bullshit coming right up
- [00:17] * Jacob_Dorn darts off into the coridor to take cover
- [00:17] <Gamemaster> *Vox Voice in the distance: POWER FAILIURE IN REDACTED. CONTAINMENT FIELD OFFLINE*

- [00:20] <Gamemaster> *With a large explosion, the bunker detonates as Biorn comes around the corner, the timer
- detonating. You hear the cracking of ferrocrete,a nd with a screach you hear the sound of falling rubble. Dust kicks back towards you from the far room, and the light form outside goes out*
- [00:21] * Dierson_Pyre quickly looks around into the "room"
- [00:21] * ^Vane^ mutters under his breath.
- [00:22] <Gamemaster> *Dierson sees dust and rubble everywhere, and ferrocrete in large chunks lays up against the
- door. You cant tell if its loose or solid, but it appears the way is blocked*
- [00:23] * Dierson_Pyre tests to see if its loose are solid
- [00:23] <Dierson_Pyre> or
- [00:25] <Gamemaster> *Dierson notices that aprt of the ferrocrete feels loose. Pushing with all his might, the
- ferrocrete gives way in dust and powder, and rolls off the lower rubble. Light streams in. The cadets can see the
- roof of the building has collapsed, forming a hazardous rubble bed towrads the former far corner which is now
- entirely gone. Only two of the supporting walls remain intact,*
- [00:25] * Dierson_Pyre starts forward through the rubble and debris
- [00:26] <Dierson_Pyre> lets go
- [00:26] <^Vane^> Go go.
- [00:26] * Biorn crouches low to spread his weight and follows suit
- [00:26] * ^Vane^ keeps watching the corridor.
- [00:27] * Dierson_Pyre reaches the outside and drops outside the electic fence
- [00:28] * Jacob_Dorn scrambles acros the rubble with haste and leaps out of the hole onto the snow

- [00:28] * Dierson_Pyre turns back to make sure everyone else makes it out
- [00:28] * ^Stephan^ carefully climbs the rubble.
- [00:29] * ^Vane^ follows last, making sure no one is left behind.

- have significant damage, as it is bulging outward where the metal appears to have been apparently bent. The courtyard is strewen with two wrecked rovers*

- [00:51] <Gamemaster> *The first three round burst hits the lead creature staggering it. Two go deep, but the third
- one is defelcted by the creastures armoured carapace. It stumbles, and falls to the ground dazed*

- [00:56] <Gamemaster> *The gyroject round slams into the large creature, denting its carapace and sinking into its
- flesh. With a raor, it joins its comrades and begins charging down the hill towards you*

- [01:01] * Jacob_Dorn primes his last he grenade aand tosses at the lead Hell-Squid hoping tfor it to land right at

- [01:04] <Gamemaster> *The grenade explodes, catching the downed alien and the foremost one directly. Sharpnel tears open wounds on the creature, and sparks arc out as the wounds beign to quickly ionise and close. Its blood solidifies in mid air and it continues downhill*
- [01:06] * Dierson_Pyre Takes aim and opens up 3 aimed bursts at the lead creature
- [01:08] <Gamemaster> *The bullets bite home, but the alien continues to run forward screaming readying its forward
- scythe like appendages, placing them across its eyes as it speeds up**
- [01:11] * Biorn lines up his autorifle and adds controlled burst fire into the lead xeno
- [01:11] <^Stephan^> Smoke grenades!
- [01:11] <^Stephan^> they hate them!

- [01:13] * Dierson_Pyre begins to fall back to ready all of his smoke grenades
- [01:14] <Gamemaster> The lead alien slows considerably as all 5 rounds of biorns fire hit their mark. It slows down considerably, but keeps coming. Its flesh is cratered now, but still it continues in a blind rage*
- [01:15] <Gamemaster> *Closing now, it lunges forward in the group towards Dron.*
- [01:15] <Jacob_Dorn> Question, do coloured smoke mean anything in engagement rules or protocol?
- [01:16] <Dierson_Pyre> Just....Dorn! watch out!
- [01:16] <Gamemaster> *The xenofrom lashes out, but it its delirious state misses. With a single kick, Dorn drives the beast back. His foot connects with a carapace that feels as hard as metal, and the blow appears to have no affect*

- [01:17] <Gamemaster> The other two aliens continue down the hill, and the large one stops short as the other two
- smaller forms prepare to join the fray*
- [01:18] * ^Vane^ throws smoke.
- [01:21] <Gamemaster> *the smoke grenade bounces behind the clsoest alien and pops off, and smoke begins to rise
- quickly*
- [01:24] <Dierson_Pyre> Good throw! CONCENTRATE ON THE VISIBLE CLOSEST XENO!!!
- [01:24] <^Stephan^> seeing dron come under attack, stephan shifts fire towards the xenoform in font of Dorn
- [01:25] <Gamemaster> *The gyro jet shot goes wide into the snow, ineffective*
- [01:26] * Jacob_Dorn flicks the switch on his riffle to full auto and in a light panic atempts to jam the rifle down
- the closest mouth and pulls the trigger
- [01:28] <Gamemaster> *15 rounds slam into the alien. The fire cuts off its front two appendages, and scythes up
- through the torso into the aliens head. It explodes in catateroshipc fashon.

- [01:29] <Gamemaster> *Dorn manages to roll out the way as a fountain of highly electrified protoplasm splatters
- hissing to the ground*

- [01:30] * Dierson_Pyre pulls pins on green and regular smoke and throws

- [01:31] <Gamemaster> *The grenades roll out and pop, adding to the dense smoke cloud*

- [01:36] * Biorn begins falling back. Pops a smoke grenade in the direction of the transport to cover the groups
- movement
- [01:37] <Gamemaster> *The smoke grenade goes off, and smoke begins to ascend. At that moment, as you fall back, two of the xenoforms come tearing out the smoke cloud. Witha leap they begin to catch up with the group*
- [01:41] <Gamemaster> *With a scything motion, the alien brings down one of its appendages into downs shoulder. The
- armour absorbs most of the blow, but it bites deep. Dorn winces as he back peddles away*
- [01:43] <Jacob_Dorn> Harrrungh!
- [01:43] *** Biorn quit (Quit: Page closed)
- [01:45] * ^Vane^ fires again on the alien attacking Dorn. Three quick three round bursts.
- [01:47] <Gamemaster> *The alien rocks under the fire, its blood exploding everywhere. it rocks under the assaulte ven as it raises its claws to descend again*
- [01:48] <Gamemaster> *Dron manages again to avoid the blood, shaking its head to clear the blood from its eyes*

- [01:49] * ^Stephan^ bings gis gyrojet at the healthy one and fires it.

- [01:52] <Gamemaster> *The gyrojet round slams into the rear alien but it continues onward*
- [01:53] * Jacob_Dorn runs like ever living fuck away form the hel squid
- [01:55] <Gamemaster> *Even as Dorn turns, the alien brings its scythe down into the same shoulder. Blood ejects from the wound, and DOrns tumbles back into the group. He successfully disengages as the Alien stumbles trying to floow him, its breathing heavy*

- [01:56] * Dierson_Pyre empties remainder of autorifle (6 rounds)
- [01:57] <Jacob_Dorn> Arrrngh aaah!
- [01:57] * Dierson_Pyre into closest xeno
- [01:58] <Gamemaster> *The Xeno goes down, in spectacular fashion, and lies still*
- [01:59] * Dierson_Pyre ejects spent mag
- [02:00] <Dierson_Pyre> (Biorn) Fires controlled bursts into remaining xeno (3 burst)
- [02:02] <Gamemaster> Biorn empties three rounds into the nearest creature but does not stop its advance. It leaps at Stephan even as the other smaller form emerges from the smoke*
- [02:04] <Gamemaster> *Lifting its claws above its head, the xenoform hits Stephan square in the chest, burying its
- claws into his shoulder blades. Some fot he force is directed, but blood leaks from the wounds as it lands on top of him in the snow*

- [02:06] * ^Vane^ shoots the emerging creature, emptying his clip. (15 rnds)
- [02:08] *** Jacob_Dorn quit (Ping timeout)
- [02:08] <Gamemaster> *Hitting with all 15 rounds, the creature disintegrates in a cloud of blue blood. Its body parts writhe around on the floor and finally grow still with a hissing sound*
