  4. ATTENTION: I have an additional proposal to the Accessibility & Adoption
  5. Integrated Platform Proposal, which will be shortened as "DASH / WOC
  6. Integration". The community expressed great interest in this, and I know we
  7. can get an early start and early finish to the project.
  8.
  9. 263 Master Nodes voted "YES" for 2334 DASH for 3 months--totaling 7002 DASH.
  10. If each "YES"-voting Master Node pays 8.875 DASH (roughly $99.83 USD today),
  11. this project would have enough funding to start immediately! The project will
  12. have already been on its way to completed for mid November!
  13.
  14. BEST OF ALL: you do not need to own a Master Node to vote for this! Simply vote
  15. with your DASH! The only address that will be used for voting / donations is:
  16. XxoppjLV4enbnNbEgiA5qk9upMVLG6TmCn

  18.
  19. I am now proposing a crowd fund supplemented with next month's treasury budget,
  20. if next month's treasury budget is even necessary. This post contains an over-
  21. view of the entire proposal and its benefits.

  27.
  28. I believe that Wall of Coins integrating with DASH will be a better solution
  29. than "DASH ATM" and "Local-Bitcoins-like-DASH"; better for the short term, and
  30. better for the long term. Here are some quotes from different DASH community
  31. members:
  32.
  33. "I personally can't see a more pressing thing to spend it on right now."
  34. - -- thedesertlynx
  35. He also points out DASH ecosystem advantages not listed in the proposal.
  36. Look at the bottom posts of:
  37. https://www.dashcentral.org/p/dash-adoption-tools2
  38.
  39. "This is the first non-KYC/AML fiat gateway project. This is huge! It enables a
  40. user to anonymously transfer fiat anywhere. This closes the loop with the
  41. PrivateSend functionality with Dash." -- Solarminer
  42. https://www.dash.org/forum/members/solarminer.3405/
  43.
  44. "MN owners should give this proposal some serious consideration. Wasn't one of
  45. our objectives as a community to build an OTC fiat on-ramp? Here it is."
  46. - -- oaxaca
  47. https://www.dash.org/forum/members/oaxaca.1721/
  48.
  49. This is expensive, but amazing. Your proposal hits upon our most dire pain
  50. points explicitly. We've been talking-the-talk of "fiat on-ramps" for almost a
  51. year now. Your proposal *actually* addresses it. Voting yes." -- n00bkid
  52. https://www.dashcentral.org/p/dash-adoption-tools2
  53.
  54. "This is such an obvious need, money well allocated." -- hus6

  59. INSPIRATIONAL OBSERVATIONS
  60. =================================== ===================================
  61.
  62. I have a few observations with my Wall of Coins Dash Integration proposal:
  63.
  64. 1. Many individuals agree that this will be one of the most beneficial
  65. additions to the DASH community within the next 2-3 months.
  66. 2. The DASH community also feels that the proposed amount is too high of a
  67. cost for the current items to be budgeted. This concern is due to funds
  68. that can be allocated to Dash core developers.
  69. 3. Many understand that a proper OTC (Over The Counter) trading experience
  70. will greatly benefit the community's ability to liquidate DASH for local
  71. currency--only when it is necessary--without affecting the vulnerable
  72. DASH exchange value. Purchases through Wall of Coins give a relatively
  73. stable price to DASH for instant cash, rather than allowing big players
  74. (or hackers!) to harm the market value with large price dumps.
  75. 4. Others have referred to systems such as a "Fiat Access Gateways", and those
  76. are delighted to see that a step closer to this solution exists today. Wall
  77. of Coins is 2 years strong in making this a reality.
  78.

  80.
  81.
  82. ============= ============= ============= ============= =============
  83. LET ME PUT THIS INTO PERSPECTIVE FOR YOU, the non-WOC user.
  84. ============= ============= ============= ============= =============
  85.
  86. What does Wall of Coins do for the buyer?
  87.
  88. - -- The buyer types in how much Fiat they are looking to spend.
  89. - -- The 3 best rates and nearest locations are presented to the buyer.
  90. - -- The buyer selects the location, verifies their mobile phone, and then
  91. receives the payment instructions.
  92. - -- The buyer receives the coins within 15 minutes after purchase!
  93.
  94. What does Wall of Coins do for the seller?
  95.
  96. - -- The seller tells us how to contact them.
  97. - -- Seller then selects their Bank account OR Cash Account, this can be any
  98. means that they accept cash.
  99. - -- Seller inputs their payment details.
  100. - -- Seller then selects the price rate they want for each coin.
  101. - -- Seller sends coins to their advertisement. Done!
  102. - -- If "Dynamic Pricing" is selected, the seller selects the Primary Market
  103. that they want their price to follow. Should this market get hacked, such
  104. as what happened with Mt Gox, Bitstamp, Cryptsy, Bitfinex, etc., Wall of
  105. Coins makes the seller select a Secondary Market (Backup market). The price
  106. is grabbed from this market if the first market fails.
  107. - -- The seller can set a premium or discount percentage if their price will
  108. follow the price of another market.
  109.
  110.
  111. What does Wall of Coins do for apps? (Such as Dash-QT)
  112.
  113. - -- Dash-QT can offer the same EXACT (or better!) buying/selling experience as
  114. the Wall of Coins website. The website is actually a reference client for
  115. the developers!
  116. - -- This experience can be integrated into Dash-QT by using the Wall of Coins
  117. REST API.
  118. - -- Dash-QT will have an immediate revenue stream: nearly half (or more) of the
  119. revenue generated by collected fees is paid to wherever Dash-QT specifies.
  120. - -- Understanding this concept can be difficult to grasp. More more information,
  121. talk with a software developer and they can help to explain in more detail.
  122.
  123.
  124. What does Wall of Coins do for websites? (Such as Backpage.com)
  125.
  126. - -- Any websites that has been shut out, or "blockaded", from the world of
  127. credit cards can accept cryptocurrency; however, cryptocurrency is not easy
  128. for the website visitors / end users!
  129. - -- Backpage.com uses the Wall of Coins web widget for easy integration to
  130. easily receive bitcoin payments (currently) WITHOUT the end user realizing
  131. that they are using bitcoin. Image the benefits to all parties of using DASH
  132. instead.
  133. - -- What is the widget? It is some HTML to copy/paste onto your website to
  134. allow the website to use features on the Wall of Coins site. This is similar
  135. to a website using "Log in with Facebook" or Google Analytics HTML code to
  136. gain the benefits from Facebook / Google.
  137. - -- Backpage now receives payments easily AND they receive a commission for
  138. their payments. Wall of Coins is effectively a payment processor that pays
  139. their business to accept remote cash payments as Dash, while boosting the
  140. Dash marketshare!
  141. - -- Backpage users want their advertisements funded as soon as possible. With
  142. Wall of Coins and DASH Instant Send, this becomes a much better solution
  143. than using Bitcoin as the payment protocol!
  144.

  147. WALL OF COINS DATA METRICS
  148. =================================== ===================================
  149.
  150. Official Wall of Coins metrics, Sept 1, 2016:
  151.
  152. 1. Over 15,000 active users.
  153. 2. Our growth has expanded to 50-100 new users every day!
  154. 3. Nearly 1,000 selling advertisements -- and all of these sellers have to wait
  155. for the bitcoin blockchain before they can sell. Imagine with Dash Instant
  156. Send.
  157. 4. About 50 payment centers where people can pay cash.
  158. 5. The USA alone supports over 120,000 payment locations.
  159. 6. 12 Countries currently supported: view the website to find out which ones.
  160. 7. 15 "Publishers" (affiliates) using our API and/or Web Widget.
  161. 8. Average payout to publishers is 37% of fees collected.
  162.
  163. Given the highly flexible nature of the Wall of Coins platform, not only can
  164. we support every country, market, and payment method on the planet, but we can
  165. also add these to the system with easd "USPS Cash In Mail" to
  166. the system within 10 minutes. Staff training follows :)
