Immigration to Canada

For my report I will be following the immigration of the English Canadian immigrants.  These immigrants entered Canada in the 1830s, at this time there was an influenza epidemic and Canada was beginning to divide into counties.  The English immigrants came to Canada due to the industrial revolution replacing their jobs with machines in England.  The English immigrants brought important skills to Canada and made a large contribution to Canada’s development as a country.  Since Canada is an English speaking country, the English immigrants didn’t have to worry about learning a new language, the only adjustment they would have to deal with would be culture, as Canada is a very different place then England.  A large success of English immigrants is how they cultivated the prairies.  A failure of the immigrants was they failed to settle in some areas and had to move to a different area, but other than this I could not find any widespread issues for these immigrants.
