Thoughts

I apologize in advance - I likely won't post a lot of politicalish stuff here. And maybe that might seem like I am just willing the world to be different without action. But here's the deal. There's plenty of people who will make sure you're up to date on what's going on and what you can do if you have the spoons/energy/time/resources. Find those people. Follow those people. I'm good at being quiet and safe and giving people hugs and reminders that they're awesome and making tea and hot chocolate and making sure there are lots of blankets if we need to make a fort. So I will be here, posting as much awesome as I can, creating as much hope and good positive bits in the world as I can. I will be the safe port in the storm, the quiet corner where you can feel whatever scared hard hurt bits you feel, and there will be a hug and a blankie or a soft kitty to snuggle and some tea if you want it. The world is loud and scary and the internet is loud and scary and I know that. So I will just keep keeping on, with my flashlight in the dark. I will find you, I will hear you, I will make you as safe as I can. That's my promise.
