  1. Harbingers: Controlled Burn
  2. > ENFF-E7 Unit Report.
  3. > Blandia State agents have submitted an alarming report.
  4. > The largest herd in the State has moved South encountering dozens of herds along the way.
  5. > Their numbers swell like a bloated corpse as they enter the swamps.
  6. > The herd has now passed the acceptable 1000 fluff mark and blown away the quick reaction requirement.
  7. > How a herd of death prone, clumsy, practically brainless fluffies got to 3000 strong is worthy of study.
  8. > But, the ENFF regulations are clear.
  9. > ENFF-A, the assessment unit, is allowed to observe and study until a heard reaches the acceptable limit.
  10. > Once a herd breaks the 1500 quick reaction limit there is no going back.
  11. > The local authorities hand over jurisdiction immediately to the ENFF-E extermination units.
  12. > All local extermination units are scrambled and agents move in within 24 hours.
  13. > The forward scouts report their movements, size, composition, and leadership and agents move in within the hour.
  14. > With the limited mental abilities and high vocalizations scouts have an easy job.
  15. > As long as a herd isn’t spooked by the scouts the agents have an easy job as well.
  16. > However, things didn’t go as planned this time.
  17. > Not only were the scouts unable to determine leadership, but they were seen and attacked.
  18. > Injuries were not sustained but the scouts were forced to flee in the face of a wall of fluff.
  19. > The herd is highly organized and alert with a hidden command structure.
  20. > ENFF-E7 has mobilized.
  21. > Termination with prejudice.
  22. > With a herd numbering over 3000 fluffies traditional methods of extermination are impractical.
  23. > And, with the swampy terrain vehicles used in other parts of the country are also unavailable.
  24. > Local rangers are brought in to work alongside ENFF-E7.
  25. > A plan is devised to split the herd into manageable chunks and hopefully exterminate en’ mass.
  26. > Controlled burns are set upwind of the herd.
  27.
  28. > You are a fluffy pony.
  29. > And a very lucky fluffy!
  30. > You have lots of nummies, a family, and a super duper smarty friend.
  31. > He’s the smartest smarty fwiend you have ever seen!
  32. > You used to be smarty of your own herd but he was so smart and nice you now work for him.
  33. > He calls you an “awficer fwuffy” and you are like a smarty to many fluffies.
  34. > A little while ago you entered a strange place.
  35. > It was full of wawa and scary munstas but your smarty is very smart.
  36. > He has shown everyone the path to a safe place in the wawa place.
  37. > It’s still wet and scary but the munstas are stupid and your smarty friend knows how to outsmart them.
  38. > But, you’re still sad sometimes.
  39. > One of your sissies was bitten and had biiiiig owies and then went sleepy for the longest time.
  40. > Smarty said I would see her again though, so I’m not so sad, but I really want to see my only sissy again.
  41. > He’s a super smart smarty so he must be right!
  42. > But, today some new munstas showed up.
  43. > They looked like bushes but had no nummies on them.
  44. > One of the fluffies saw it move and warned everyone.
  45. > It was scary for a little and the mommas were worried, but I knew what I had to do!
  46. > I got all the boy fluffies and we all charged the bush munsta at once.
  47. > The bush munsta talked very softly to itself but it ran away!
  48. > We won! We won! I was so excited and the smarty friend was happy.
  49. > But, then we smelled some strange not pretties.
  50. > The smarty friend said it was something called “smokies” but I don’t know what that is.
  51. > He told me to take my fluffies and hide for a while in the wawa fields.
  52. > How strange! Fluffies beat the bush munsta how can this smokies munsta beat us?
  53. > The smarty friend then got mad at me for asking.
  54. > He said, “Smokies no bad, it fiwe dat come aftaw smokies dat awe bad! Dey buwn fluffies and hurties!”
  55. > I know what fiwe is! It bad! Very very bad!
  56. > I ran as fast as my leggies could take me to my herd and we went into the wawa field.
  57. > It has munstas but fiwe is worse than munstas!
  58. > The mommas and sissies are safe in a dry spot in the wawa field and the boy fluffies stand guard.
