Rikka's route is for most part, an actual Class S route. In this route, Rikka is shown to be kind of a manipulative character that isn't very accepting of people that think different from her and does what she can for things to only go her way. Suoh starts out as a very meek, introverted character, but by the end you can tell she hasn't moved a single step forward into growing as a person, and if anything she probably grows even more insecure. Also it's interesting to note that in this route even though Suoh didn't develop romantic feelings for Rikka, she did develop feelings for Mayuri. SHE LIKES MAYURI NOT EVEN IN MAYURI ROUTE...

A big part of Mayuri's character and struggle in her route is her coming to terms with her sexuality. She comes across as friendly and outgoing and is often compared to the sun, yet she's also mysterious and doesn't really open up to people; she has barriers around her as a way to protect herself, but she struggles with not opening up to Suoh. She fell in love with a classmate in another school and was badly rejected. In her route, Rikka uses this to blackmail Suoh into spending time mostly with her, telling her that if she doesn't do it, she will spread rumors about Mayuri's lesbianism through the whole school.

The only person she will sing along to when they play the piano is with Suoh, the only person that makes her spill out her emotions without realizing is Suoh, etc.

In Mayuri's route, you can tell Suoh is in love with her from the start. Later in the game Mayuri falls for Suoh. If you have answered choices to grow the yuri gauge sufficiently, then Mayuri will confess to Suoh. After they become lovers, rumors spread about it and their teacher gives a warning that the school may split up the amitié, which is a system in which 3 girls become roommates and are paired up for everything, in this game the group being Mayuri, Rikka and Suoh. Not long after they accept their feelings for each other, Mayuri leaves the school, without telling Suoh in advance, on a day when they had arranged to go on a date. The last scene is Suoh in the school chapel, praying so she can see her love again. It can be assumed that Suoh left to protect the amitié, and it has been implied that the winter game will be about her returning to school.
