  1. Holy shit i have a lot to talk about, so let's get started!

  3. First...FleetFest. I've been a part of many speedrun marathons at this point, all of which ha varying degrees of success. Fleet Fest, despite being the first one, was actually fairly well organized. A second one has already been announced, with a focus on games longer than 3 hours. I might submit either TY 2 100% or PMD: EoT to that, but we'll see as thats months away.
  4. As for the runs I did...lets talk minecraft. Minecraft went alright...until the unthinkable happened. The stronghold happened to spawn into a canyon, and as such there was no end portal. I was unaware that could happen on the console version. Luckily, i was quick on my feet, and jumped to creative so that people could see the run. It sucks that it went the way it did, but I had no other choice. overall, I'm not sure if I would do minecraft random seed at a speedrun marathon again.
  5. Wednesday night was rugrats. Rugrats went pretty well, except for me needing to jump to any% iinstead of all levels. My disc has gotten too scratched up and won't load Toy Palace anymore, and the rom i downloaded wouldn't load the Mr. Friend robots for some reason in the basement level. I wish I had done better reptar bar management, but oh well.
  6. Mario Party 8 was Thursday morning, and went very well actually. I lost one of the boards, but I gave myself a huge estimate, so i still went under. Plus, it was fun!!!
  7. After fleet fest...Octathlon occurred. I got the shittiest luk ever, and then, after 23:40:00...my laptop was giving up. My keyboard had stopped working eight hours prior, and my usb ports stopped working. In order to fix the issue, i restarted my laptop, which solved the issue, but obs stopped working. At that point, i threw in the towel because I had no idea how easy or hard the fix would be. I have obs fixed now, but I had to delete all of my scenes which kind of sucks. Overall, here's how each Mario Party went.

  9. Mario Party 1 - a little bad, but I can only blame myself. Would absolutely do runs of as it is a fuckton of fun!

  11. Mario Party 2 - also a little bad, but like MP1 a lot of fun!

  13. Mario Party 3 - Oh god...lost one board once and another board like twice. Took over 9 hours...this was really the game that got me behind everyone. I don't know if I'll ever do that one again outside of octathlon.

  15. Mario Party 4 - long, but not bad. Kind of fun, would do again.

  17. Mario Party 5 - probably the one I did the best at, I had a shit beginning, but once i really understood what I was doing, it became really easy.

  19. Mario Party 6 - I got unlucky at times and was just stupid at others. Should have been an easy game but took a little longer than I meant.

  21. Mario Party 7 - Fuck that desert stage! It got me stuck for nearly an hour which sucked. Other than that, not bad. Wish I had finished though.

  23. Mario Party 8 - I didn't get to it, but given how shit every other game went, I can only assume i was going to get fucked over.

  25. Overall, I would do octathlon again...if they change the order of the games. doing 3 and 4 back to back really destroyed me, and 1 and 2 next to each other was really odd as well.

  27. Looking forward this week, my number 1 goal is finish earthbound. I want to be done and move on to other games. If I don't finish Earthbound by this Saturday, I will likely put it on hold and finish it in a few months. There are quite a few games I want to do next, including TY 3 GBA, Fuel, Super Meat Boy, and Banjo-Kazooie. I also will officially announce that, in a week in june (I havn't chosen yet), i will attempt to do a complete solo segmented 1545 run. I'm not sure how it will go right now, but look forward to that. As such, a lot of my time will go towards getting ready for that. I've already began learning Galaxy 120, and plan on doing a run this weekend (key word: plan). I also might be racing Spyro in it soon (He's the actual Galaxy 120 runner on my 1545 team), so that will be fun. If you're curious, here are my goal times for my solo 1545.

  45. What this means is if I get my estimate for each game, I would get a time of 78:15:00, but my overall goal is 100 hours, meaning I have 22 hours that I can go over. Right now, I feel fine with crash 1, 2, and spyro 1. Over the next month, I plan on working on crash 3, spyro 2 and 3, SM64, SMG, and casually complete BK. May's goal will be learning BK, BT, DK, SMS, and SMG2. Keep in mind this will be SEGMENTED, as I would be dead otherwise. more info will come soon though, including what games I'm doing when.

  47. I know this is a long pastebin, but I had a lot to talk about. Also, a small sidenote: pac-a-thon is coming quickly. I will be doing world 1 GBA any%, so I'll probably do a practice run of two before then. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great Monday!
