Choices are from the top: 1 is the topmost choice, 2 is the 2nd choice from the top, so on and so forth.
If a rank isn't here, it either has no choices or none of the choices give you any points. If an Arcana isn't here, the S. Link is advanced by plot (Fool, Star, Judgment) has no choices involved (Hermit), or the choices have no effect (Death always ranks up when you spend time with her, no matter what. So there's no point in trying to min/max the choices)

As a note for the Chariot/Moon/Priestess/Sun/Lovers/Fortune/Aeon S. Links, this guide is entirely concerned with maximizing your point gains with them. However, there's a choice in those S. Links that decides whether or not you're dating the girl in said link. Generally speaking, this choice is obvious, so feel free to ignore the guide if you don't want to date them. However, also note that I'm fairly certain you have to be dating Marie to get the P4G-added epilogue.
