  3. RUUKO vs. IONA
  4.
  5. >Revealed for the first time, the Black deck and Iona's strategies
  6.
  7. How did you like episode 7?
  8. Iona posits that Ruuko's wish is the very desire to continue battling in Wixoss.
  9. Trying to deny those words, Ruuko is dragged into the battle...
  10.
  11. White and Black, complete opposites with the same wish?
  12.
  13. >Ruuko unable to attack, and Iona not willing to attack
  14. Ruuko is unable to attack in the beginning, whereas Iona just chooses not to.
  15. The battle continues without either side losing Life Cloth.
  16.
  17. Then, Iona uses "Get Bible".
  18. Though it's a Black deck, by using cards with Multiener she can use White spells.
  19.
  20. >Ruuko: "Search for low level cards with that spell? But why now? That's so strange... something is off..."
  21. This is the current layout of the field.
  22.
  23. She finds "Evil Depression Grim" using "Get Bible", adds it to her hand, and plays it on the left.
  24.
  25. She has other SIGNI in her hand that she can play, but she intentionally doesn't use them to draw in an attack. However, Iona has her reasons.
  26.
  27. >Urisu: "As expected, Iona. You looked through your deck with a search card to find out what cards were in your Life Cloth. The next time Ruuko attacks..."
  28.
  29. Yes, Iona used the search spell to find out what cards were in her Life Cloth. There were cards with strong Life Bursts that could turn the tables... cards that used the Trash (I'll introduce them at a later opportunity...). Iona put these cards in her deck in order to strengthen her Life Bursts.
  30.
  31. "Servant D2" and "Servant O2".
  32. Unlike the previous Guard cards, these do not have a Life Burst.
  33. When you want to have Bursts other than "Enercharge 1", these will come in handy!
  34.
  35. Ruuko suspected that her Life Bursts would use her Trash, so by stopping her attacks, she tried to make Iona shuffle her Trash back into her deck by running it out. (TL Note: Milling?)
  36. Iona tried to use the "Blessing of Recollection" spell to get SIGNI back from her Trash, but it was repelled by Anti-Spell. She wasn't able to get back her key card.
  37.
  38. >Ruuko: "Tama doesn't attack. Turn end!"
  39.
  40. >Start of the counterattack, "Wish Crisis"
  41.
  42. It was Ruuko's turn when they were interrupted. This is the board layout.
  43.
  44. Halfway through, Iona had to send one Life Cloth to the Trash after her deck ran out.
  45. A danger of using a Black deck is that while trying to increase your Trash your deck may run out, so be careful.
  46.
  47. Ruuko defends against Black's need to have a lot of cards in the Trash.
  48. This is where she uses her trump card, "Wish Crisis".
  49.
  50. >Ruuko: "Tama! Wish Crisis!"
  51. She uses it to summon "Archangel Arch Gain".
  52.
  53. This card has the ability of protecting all of your own <Angel> cards from all of the opponent's card effects, not including their LRIG. Thus, no matter what Life Burst activates, your own SIGNI won't be banished.
  54.
  55. Now it's time for the counterattack! Or so it would've been if it wasn't interrupted. Who knows who would've won if the battle continued...
  56. With the second wave of decks and booster packs, try having your own Black vs White battle. I believe you'll be able to have an interesting battle.
  57.
  58. I'll keep on giving information on new cards like this, so please look forward to next week!
