  1. I had not seen this film previously, and having seen it credited as a postmodern, black-comedy/crime drama, I was looking forward to it immensely.
  2. I HATED this film.
  3. It was short and still paced poorly. There are at least 3 unattached subplots, only one of which (to my recollection) was resolved. Every character in it was unlikable, and worse, every single last one of them was rock-stupid.
  4. The plot was even worse, because it was the kind of idiocy that practically can't exist in reality. I am certain that there are people this stupid; I am certain that there are kidnapping/fraud plans this poorly-thought-out; I am certain that there are police officers that are this incompetent, but even believing all of that doesn't make this film any less irritating. This is a story that can ONLY exist because every single character involved is the kind of idiot who couldn't string two sentences together if they weren't being played by actors talented enough to make this kind of idiocy seem real.
  5.
  6. Next time I want a black comedy/crime drama this excruciating, I'll fling MYSELF into a wood chipper facing a copy of Monty Python's Life of Brian.
