- Well, we did it. We beat the Jacq. I don't know if anyone will ever read this, given we're stranded in the middle of nowhere in a now-dead system, but as a positive, I might never have to meet Queen Seti and Ayda and their very ominous words to me over the subspace comms. We also got to see a beautifully horrific light show of Barras imploding into a black hole. It reminds me of a maybe-fictional story's first book's final battle. I really hope no more of those torpedoes exist.
- Weird that this, of all things, is what might finally kill us. Landing on a demon king's head and sending us both tumbling down a set of stairs led to some of the best friends we ever had instead of our execution. Ending up falling out of a gate into a military facility didn't lead to my capture but instead, joining a team of explorers and more friends and learning to be more open with.... Instead, it'll be simple starvation or asphyxiation that will do us in.
