DDR X3 Vs 2nd Mix:

1. Copy the data from your torrents folder to some other place. Do not run this data from the same place it is being torrented, this is known to cause problems.
2. If you want to connect to Programmed Sun, then edit prop\ea3-config.xml, changing the <services> URL to xrpc.programmedsun.com.
3. If you have already registered this DLL for DDR X2, you can skip this step. Run the following command: regsvr32 D:\KDX\k-clvsd.dll
4. If you have already registered this DLL for DDR X2, you can skip this step. Run the following command: regsvr32 D:\KDX\xactengine2_10.dll
5. If you're running on Windows XP, go to the sound devices control panel, select your sound card, click Advanced Options and turn Hardware Acceleration down to basic.
Bemanitools setup:

6. Unzip ddr-x3.zip from the latest Bemanitools release into the game's "contents" directory.
7. Rename ddrio.dll.generic to ddrio.dll.
8. Rename acioport.dll.emu to acioport.dll.
9. Configure your inputs and virtual card readers using config.bat
10. Start the game using either gamestart-JBA.bat (480p mode) or gamestart-JAA.bat (720p mode).

Pop'n Music

1. Copy the game data somewhere, preferably C:\M39\contents.

2. Extract Bemanitools pnm-21.zip into your contents folder.

3. Configure your inputs and network settings, if you need to.

4. Change the <services> URL in prop\ea3-config.xml. NOTE: You MUST do this in order to get into the game. NOTE2: Make sure you enter an http:// URL and not an https:// URL

5. Change pcb_type in prop\app-config.xml to 1 if you want the game to run in high resolution. NOTE: Pop'n Music doesn't use 720p or 1080p, I think it uses 1440x900 or something like that.

6. Double-click gamestart.bat to launch the game.

SDVX:

IMPORTANT NOTES TO READ FIRST:

1. IF YOU RUN THIS ON WINDOWS 7 OR 8, ENTERING SKILL ANALYZER MODE WILL HANG THE GAME ON A WHITE SCREEN. IF YOU ARE NOT RUNNING THIS ON WINDOWS XP, DO NOT ENTER SKILL ANALYZER MODE.

2. AS OF RIGHT NOW ALL OF THE SONGS FROM SDVX1 (MINUS A FEW NOVICE AND ADVANCE DIFFICULTIES WE COULDN'T FIT IN) ARE FORCE UNLOCKED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. THIS MAY CHANGE IN THE FUTURE, AND THIS THREAD WILL BE UPDATED BEFORE THAT HAPPENS. THAT ALSO MEANS THESE SONGS WILL STILL SHOW UP IN THE SHOP EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR PLAY. YOU ARE WELCOME TO PURCHASE THEM WHENEVER YOU LIKE AND THEY WILL STAY UNLOCKED AFTER PURCHASE WHEN THIS FORCE UNLOCK IS REMOVED.

4. DO NOT USE THE ENTIRE EA3-CONFIG.XML COPIED FROM SDVX1.

1. Copy the data from your torrents folder to some other place, preferably D:\KFC. DO NOT RUN THIS DATA FROM THE SAME PLACE IT IS BEING TORRENTED. THIS WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS.

2. Edit prop\ea3-config.xml and enter the Network Services URL listed above in between the <services></services> tags. The game will refuse to start if it cannot connect to a network server, so make sure you are connected to the internet. Also make sure to enter your PCBID from the Programmed Sun website.

3. Download the latest version of Bemanitools and extract the file "sdvx.zip" inside of it into your D:\KFC\contents folder. If it asks to overwrite any files, do so.

4. Run "config.bat" to configure your inputs. You MUST bind analog controls to VOL-L and VOL-R for the game to be playable. If you do not have a custom controller and wish to play with your keyboard, you can use two mice.

If you are running this on Windows XP, skip step 5a and move to step 5b:

5a. Right click on "launcher.exe" and go to the Compatibility tab. Check the box labeled "Run this program as an Administrator" and click OK.

5b. Double-click "gamestart.bat" to launch the game in windowed mode. If you have set everything up correctly, all checks will say "OK" and the game will run a brief online update check before the title screen appears.

Reflec Beat:

Same process as other games; grab the data, drop in bemanitools (and touch emulation), edit ea3-config to set url and pcbid for PSun. It also expects you to have an E: drive available, and there's no workaround for that yet.

Unlike previous versions, colette will actually run on Windows 7. This might interfere with the current touchhook, but I'm planning to put together something using the Windows multitouch API which means it'll work with any touch monitor that works with Windows 7.

This is also the first game I'm aware of that runs in 1080p. This means that it expects your monitor resolution to be 1080x1920.

Current touchhook is compatible with LG 23ET83, LG 23ET63, Dell P2314T and Dell S2240T.
