  You have a hard time breathing when you come into this room, since it is
filled with one of the worst stenches you've ever smelled.  The floor is
covered with a sticky, gelatinous ooze that reaches up to your knees and
makes it difficult to move.  You can see something squirming around in the
corner, and hope that it isn't something too gross to deal with.
     The corpse of the giant slug is lying here.
