The mans voice grows supple and smooth, another side of him coaxing him to give in

The angrier side of the mans voice of reason comes back

	STOP IT, NO, DON’T LIS-

The man cuts himself off, violently driving his car through lanes of traffic and into a McDonalds drive through, tires squealing throughout

Shots of him slamming McDoubles into his face as he races home.

He quietly unlocks his front door and walks in.

Man: One last time, that’s all tonight is.. The one last time.

As hes walking through his house the lights turn on, his wife rushes up to him – her muted screaming and yelling get ignored by the man, he tries to walk towards the washroom and she follows, yelling and crying the entire time

Narrator: She doesn’t’ understand. She’ll never understand. If she takes the kids, she takes the kids – its all the same in the end. It’s for the best.

She gets too much in the way of the bathroom door, trying to stop him – the man has had enough of her and violently pushes her.

The mans insane inner-voice: Badap.. bap.. bap.. bap.. I’m loving it.

He tears off his clothes inside the bathroom, piece by piece, flailing burgers around. He stands in the tub of old mcdoubles, smooshing them beneath his feet. In slow motion he pours the burgers out over his head and into the tub.
