Exile humans are respected for their grit, iron backbone, and dauntless tenacity. Having been hunted through space by the Dominion for centuries, the humans have decided to lay down roots on Nexus, bravely making a final stand against the aggressive empire who threatens to drive them from the planet.

Having fallen victim to a degenerative disease known as the Contagion, the Mordesh have come to Nexus to seek a cure - and they are more than ready to unleash their dark and deadly arts against their Dominion enemies.

Engineer
The Engineer utilizes a technological mastery to craft the right tool for any situation - most notably ones where heavy firepower is a necessity.

- who often likes to ride around in a mechanical suit like some kind of crazy, comic book hero.
- who is really obsessed with machines, robots and others kinds of technology. And I do mean obsessed.
- who has a hard time connecting with people, and therefore spends all day tinkering with machines and weapons.

Esper
Espers are masters of illusion, attacking their enemies with powerful psychic weapons and projecting inspiring visions to heal their friend and allies. Combat with an Esper is a deadly phantasmal dance that torments enemies with their darkest fears before pushing them over the edge of madness.

- who uses your brain to create and project deadly weapons. It's very cool.
- who has a very rich imagination. So rich, in fact, that you use it to destroy your enemies with a psychically projected arsenal.
- who, when fighting, adheres to the philosophy of "mind over matter." Put more simply, you use your big brain to annihilate your foes.

Medic
Medics thrive when submersed in battle, healing those that fight with them and crushing those that stand before them.

- who is a really badass healer that uses powerful shockers to heal your friends and vaporize your enemies.
- who likes to benevolently heal your friends and violently destroy your enemies. You definitely have issues.
- who always dreamed of being a doctor. And now you are! Of course, you are also the kind of doctor that also brutalizes your foes. Sometimes you even feel bad about it.

Spellslinger
The Spellslinger is a steely-eyed gun-for-hire, using deadly precision and acrobatic agility to put his enemies in the ground. With a lethal combination of hair-trigger pistols and powerful magic, the Spellslinger is a dangerous foe - blasting enemies with a deadly barrage of bullets or casting runic sigils that sow destruction and death.

- who definitely shoots first and asks questions later. Questions like, "were you really stupid enough to fight someone like me?" You generally don't receive an answer.
- who is a steely-eyed galactic gunslinger who uses arcane magic to kill your enemies. If you're thinking that sounds badass, you would be correct.

Stalker
The Stalker strikes ferociously with his claws, using advanced stealth technology to deal multiple blows to his enemies. The Stalker also uses a mix of technological abilities to tactically control the battlefield, leaving a pile of corpses in his wake.

- who enjoys sneaking around in the dark and using your weapons to wreak havoc on the internal organs of your foes.
- who uses nanotechnology to make yourself invisible while simultaneously eviscerating large numbers of your enemies. So cool.
- who racks up impressive body counts using a pleasurable mix of positive attitude, cloaking technology and very, very sharp claws.

Warrior
When it comes to combat, the warrior is an unstoppable juggernaut, destroying his enemies with a combination of brute force and deadly weaponry. Warriors solve problems the old-fashioned way - cutting down enemies with their swords and ripsaw shields, or blasting them to pieces with a trusty arm cannon.

- who likes to use big swords and blow things up. You're always the life of the party.

Explorers
The wild frontiers are the perfect place for an Explorer! Often traveling to the most dangerous places on Nexus, Explorers claim territory for their faction by finding hidden paths, exploring secret caves, and climbing the tallest mountains!

As an explorer, you will be spending a lot of time in the most wild and dangerous places on Nexus. The strange thing is that you will probably enjoy it. A lot. Maps? An explorer like you doesn't need any maps! What you may need is really great medical coverage and an up-to-date will and testament. Have fun! You're also an explorer. Which is the most awesome job in the world, as long as you don't mind the constant threat of abrasions, contusions and broken bones. It's not just a job, it's an adventure!

Scientist
The Scientist has come to Nexus to study its exotic flora, dangerous fauna, and ancient technology. Utilizing a powerful, upgradeable Scanbot to scan creatures and uncover lore, the Scientist is living proof that knowledge is power!

As a scientist, you get geeked up about things that make most people fall asleep. Don't take it personally. They were probably really tired from trying so hard to be as cool as you. Being a scientist, you will study the exotic flora and fauna that live on planet Nexus. That's very cool. What's not very cool is that most of it will be trying to eat you. You are also a scientist. and if knowledge is power, you are the big man on campus. Brains? Check. Charisma? Check. Cool floating robot that does all of the really boring scientific stuff for you? Oh yeah.

Settler
The Settler's mission is to tame the wilds of planet Nexus, collecting resources to construct beneficial improvements for the community at large. Bravely facing the dangers of an alien planet for the greater good, Settlers are sure to earn adoration of their companions as they adventure across Nexus!

Flavor Text
As a settler, you'll be hard at work building things for your fellow man. As an added bonus, you'll be doing that on a hostile alien world chock full of things that want to kill you. They say a settler's work is never done. Hopefully they were able to say it before being eaten or dying of exposure. That's where you come in! Get to work. Settler, huh? That means you're a real go-getter, a true pioneer ready to tame a dangerous alien planet. Your life expectancy also just hit the single digits. Good luck!

Soldier
The Soldier tackles combat heavy missions, gaining access to special weaponry and objectives as he fights across Nexus. Often battling waves of enemies, Soldiers will use every tool at their disposal to hack and slash their way to victory!

As a soldier, you'll enjoy squeezing in some combat in your down time between fights, battles, and skirmishes. You also really like war. You are also a soldier, which means you're really into things like combat readiness, tactical deployment and kill zones. Not great for small talk, but awesome for staying alive! Because you're a soldier, you'll often find yourself in the middle of life-threatening battles surrounded by things that want to kill you. And that's on a slow day.

Dominion
The Dominion is a powerful interstellar empire that rules through military strength, powerful religious institutions, and advanced technology. Established by the Eldan more than a thousand years ago, the Dominion has claimed Nexus as its rightful legacy, and will stop at nothing to ensure that the fabled planet is under their control.

Exiles
The Exiles are a gutsy group of rebels, mercenaries and refugees that have forged an unlikely alliance upon the planet Nexus. Scattered beyond the edge of known space by the violent expansion of their sworn enemy, the Dominion, the races of the Exiles have now banded together to explore the wonders of planet Nexus.
