  2.
  3. Official Skial Jailbreak Rules
  4. Version 1.5b
  5.
  6. |-------------------------------|
  7.
  8. Simple version:
  9. 1) Follow the Warden's instructions
  10. 2) Randomly killing prisoners = Freekilling = Ban
  11. 3) Guards can kill you if you do not follow the orders.
  12. 4) Ghosting (revealing player's locations while dead or after you die) is NOT allowed. (Unless that player is stalling. See below.)
  13. 5) Freeday does NOT mean armory access unless Warden says so.
  14.
  15.
  16. |-------------------------------|
  17.
  18. Elaborate version:
  19.
  20. BLU Team:
  21.
  22. 1. BLU guards keep RED Prisoners in line.
  23.
  24. 2. BLU guards follow the Warden's orders.
  25.
  26. 3. BLU guards may kill whomever is not following the Warden's orders.
  27. 3a. Guards must kill prisoners that have killed a fellow guard. Hiding from rebels is stalling and may result in a ban.
  28.
  29. 4. BLU guards and Warden may NOT kill a RED for no reason. This is freekilling, which results in a ban.
  30.
  31. 4a. If shot by a Blue guard first without valid reason, Reds are allowed to fight back.
  32. 4b. Killing someone for rebelling/freekilling during a previous round is not allowed.
  33.
  34. 5. BLU guards may not camp the armory. (Staying inside the armory and making no attempt to leave)
  35. 5a. Camping the room between the armory and TARDIS is not an exception.
  36. 5b. Guarding the armory (Staying on top of it or going in and out semi-regularly) is allowed.
  37.
  38.
  39. RED Team:
  40.
  41. 1. REDs have to follow the Warden's orders, or they can be killed.
  42. 1a. Not following includes: Purposefully delaying, taking a detour.
  43. 1b. Trying to create a loophole to exploit in the Warden's orders does not make you immune to punishment.
  44. EG: Going to the yellow line on the opposite side of the map when ordered to go to the yellow line, going into BLU's side of any map feature because "it wasn't specified"
  45.
  46. 2. REDs have an ultimate end goal of rebelling and killing the BLU team. The following are considered rebellion:
  47. 2a. Attempting to attack guards or hit them with jarate / mad milk.
  48. 2b. Attempting to taunt kill or tickle* a guard.
  49. 2c. Entering the armory or picking up dropped ammo intentionally.*
  50. 2d. Knowingly healing a rebel.
  51.
  52. 3. REDs may not hide from guards for the sake of prolonging the round. If a RED rebels, they must make an attempt to win the round within a certain amount of time. Making no attempt is stalling and is bannable.
  53.
  54. *Unless explicitly allowed by the Warden
  55.
  56. The Warden:
  57.
  58. 1. Typing as warden gives out center text. Typing is preferred over talking.
  59.
  60. 2. The Warden can give any order, however arbitrary, so long as it does not violate Skial rules or fall under the following list of exceptions:
  61. 2a. The Warden cannot order guards to freekill.
  62. 2b. The Warden cannot issue a "war day" or hide and seek round.
  63. 2c. The Warden cannot order RED to rebel.
  64. 2d. The Warden cannot order anyone to suicide.
  65. 2e. The Warden cannot order a guard to camp the armory.
  66. 2e. Umbrella rule: The Warden cannot issue an order that would lead to freekilling.
  67.
  68. 3. The Warden may kill his own guards if they disobey orders or freekill.
  69. 3a. Teamkilling for no reason is also freekilling, which results in a ban.
  70.
  71. 4. The Warden's orders become invalid if he dies, and he may issue no further orders after death.
  72. 4a. Players who rebelled before the Warden's death may still be killed by remaining guards.
  73. 4b. Upon the warden's death, the round becomes a freeday for those who have not rebelled.
  74.
  75.
  76. Freeday:
  77.
  78. 1. Reds may do whatever they want, so long as they do not attack a guard or try to enter the armory.
  79. 1a. Doing any of the things listed in point 2 of the "RED Team" section can still get you killed.
  80.
  81. 2. If the Warden decides to change his mind, he can cancel the freeday and do something else.
  82.
  83. 3. Prisoners and guards may agree to box during a freeday. If the prisoner wins, he is not a rebel until he picks up the ammo dropped by the guard.
  84.
  85. 4. Prisoners may request that guards operate the controls for certain games during a freeday. The guards, however, do not have to comply.
  86.
  87.
  88. Last Request:
  89.
  90. 1. The last prisoner alive during any given round is given a last request, which the current/following warden must abide by.
  91. 1a. If the last prisoner alive is a rebel, they do not get a last request.
  92. 1b. If the warden is dead, no one gets a last request.
  93. 1c. A last request cannot be made or given if there are multiple prisoners still alive.
  94.
  95. 2. The last request may be anything aside from the following exceptions:
  96. 2a. A prisoner cannot request freeday for all. Requested freedays are limited to only the final prisoner and up to one other prisoner.
  97. 2b. Per above umbrella rule, a last request leading to any sort of freekilling is not allowed.
  98. 2c. A prisoner cannot request more requests. (Nor can they request the ability to request more requests.)
  99. 2d. A prisoner cannot pass on their last request to someone else, nor save it for a later round.
  100. 2e. A prisoner cannot request that rules be changed in any way.
  101. 2f. A prisoner cannot request access to the armory during the following round.
  102. 2g. A prisoner may request to kill all guards at the end of the current round, but the guards may still fight back.
  103.
  104.
  105. Misc:
  106.
  107. 1. Baiting is allowed. However, if a guard is surrounded by 3-4+ Reds, he may open fire.
  108.
  109. 2. The first round of a new map is always a Freeday.
  110.
  111. 3. Players may not use the votemenu to punish a rebel, mute/gag a freekiller, slay a prisoner unless stalling, or slay a guard unless stalling, freekilling, or armory camping.
  112.
  113. 4. All Skial rules also apply. See: http://www.skial.com/threads/server-rules.136/
