In 1991 a memo was written by `Harry B Brandon, Acting Assistant Director, Intelligence Division` of the FBI to `Air Force Commander of the Office of Special Investigations`, stating the following: `Our Bureau recently recovered what may possibly be a classified document, dating November 18, 1952, relating to "OPERTION MAJESTIC 12." The document indicates that this project related to sightings/recover of extra-terrestrial aircraft.` [Document 1; Page 14]

In 1989 a memo was written from [Redacted] to `FBI Director William Sessions` stating the following: `So, I know the whole scheme of things, pertaining to UFO's - except for the hidden Intelligence gathering agency participation with regard to the better UFO sighting reports, and which are, to this date, real, hard "unknowns".` [Document 2; Page 8]

  9. On an unknown date, `Admiral Delmer Fahrney, USN` said the following in a statement: `Reliable reports indicate there are objects coming into our atmosphere at very high speeds... No agency in this country or Russia is able to duplicate at this time the speeds and accelerations at which radars and observers indicate these flying objects are able to achieve` [Document 3; Page 8]
  10. He then said: `There are signs that an intelligence directs these objects because of the way they fly. The way they change position in formations would indicate their motion is directed.` [Document 3; Page 8]

In a memo dated May, 1960, a report was filed about Joseph Perry, stating the following: `...When the Air Force returned the photograph, they gave Perry a letter explaining that what appears to be a flying object in this slide is actully a part of the negative which was not properly developed.` [Document 4; Page3]
  13. It later goes on to say `...had stated it was his understanding that the FBI Agents in Flint had previously "snatched" the 2 photographs from JOSEPH PERRY.` [Document 4; Page 1]

  15. A memo to `Joseph Perry` from `FBI Directory John Edgar Hoover` states what happened: We straightened out the "Detroit Times" on this point. Perry by letter dated 3-21-60 wrote to President Eisenhower pointing out he did not know hwere his photographs were but he would like assurance that they would be returned to him` [Document 4; Page 11]
