Last Dance 7/29/17

Addy chuckles. Giving the former stallion a hug as  he walks over, it felt nice walking again. Trotting being such a droll work to describe their movement " @Stray Shot tonight has been absolutely amazing, I didn't realize you were such a good dancer after you've had a drink or too" she says with a buzzed smile permanently on her face looks over at Lucian and Moire dancing "shall we join them for round 2?~"

Stray's smile grows wider at the hug, returning it with a gentle squeeze. It was great to hear that his friend had been having a good time, especially considering what they had been going through recently, and Addy in specific. When he first saw her under the curse, as 'The White Witch', he was scared for her life, seeing how she had been suffering from malnutrition and under a dark curse that made her try to sink the ship he was on. She had been hard on herself and in a somber modd ever since, and it made him feel butterflies in his stomach to hear her request a dance and being in such high spirits. "Haha, well thank you @Addy ! You're pretty good yourself!" He winks and looks over to Moire and Lucien dancing, smirking in satisfaction that the vampire had successfully ingratiated himself wi thin their community.

He smiles softly to her, offering a hand as he stepped towards the dance floor. "I'd love to share this dance with you."

Adelaide takes @Stray Shot 's hands. The excited mare practically drags him onto the dance floor. For the first time since her month of capture. She felt truly alive. Swirling with the man on the dance floor. She didn't wanna be anywhere else in the world at the moment "I never took you for a slow dancer either"

Stray stumbles along in a pleasant haze from the liquor and just being happy in the moment to be with Adelaide. He clasps his fingers with hers as they twirl and slow dance with the music, a smile on his flushed face.

"I'm full of all sorts of surprises." He says with a little smirk, his feet moving with the rythm of the tune as he looked into Addy's eyes with a smile. "Thanks for comin' with me, @Addy . This night'll always be special to me." He says, his voice going soft with his throat tightening towards the end a little bit. Phew, he'd have to get another drink... after a full song or two.~

The two blue eyed humans lock eyes for a moment as they twirl on the dance floor "So have you. You were there for me when I didn't have many friends but needed someone to drink with. You were there for me when I went out on the seas and never came back. And here you are now. Thank you @Stray Shot" she pulls him closer into her warm embrace on the dance floor as the two have their moment

"Yep, and I'll always be there for you, just like you would for me. We're a team." Stray says softly as he returns the hug, wrapping his arms around @Addy and swaying around the dance floor to the music in the embrace. Perhaps partly because of the alcohol, and perhaps partly the happiness of closeness with someone trusted, for tonight, the two had not a care in the world despite the mounting challenges that faced them in the very-near future.

Addy can't help but dawwww at the stallion. Glad she finally had a friend she could trust in this town laying her head against his chest for a moment until she Sees @ᵂʰᶦˢᵏᵉʸʲᵃᶜᵏ  wink, she  rolls her eyes and blows a kiss to him as they continue to dance along. She wasn't sure if if was the alcohol or not but it was making her feel much bolder
