What sort of purpose is this?

A glance to the side
full of hate and regret-
Where's the truth in that?
When's it just too much?
Where's the line drawn today?

We pass once by chance
and both look away-
Who's to blame?
Who's to shame?
Who's the one that
did their worst?

A fast and meaningful question piercing my chest-
Why does it exist?
What sort of answer is this?
Where's the truth in this?
When's the limit?
And who lied
the most?
