  1. [15:38] <DH42[GM]> ===========BEGIN===============
  2. [15:38] <DH42[GM]> Both of you, recount what your doing at the current moment
  3. [15:38] * proteanChernobyl explores the server version of the file.
  4. [15:38] <DH42[GM]> Hivern, you see that the HOST SERVER option requires you to enter a ESPERHANDLE
  5. [15:39] <proteanChernobyl> Hmm. He considers that list of trolltags he just recently received. Then he picks one at random, like he did the first time.
  6. [15:40] <DH42[GM]> you pick redClaw.
  7. [15:40] <proteanChernobyl> What are the chances?
  8. [15:40] <redClaw> Nate continues to play video games
  9. [15:41] <DH42[GM]> Nate, your computer suddenly makes a loud notifaction noise.
  10. [15:41] <redClaw> Nate minimizes the game and checks it out
  11. [15:42] <DH42[GM]> Notification: Server hosted by proteanChernobyl has requested to be your SERVER for ARBATA
  12. [15:43] <redClaw> Oh, that game thing
  13. [15:43] <redClaw> Nate clicks "okay" if such an option exists
  14. [15:43] <DH42[GM]> It does.
  15. [15:43] <DH42[GM]> The game than opens a CMD window and says "Establishing connection to Server...please hold"
  16. [15:44] <DH42[GM]> On Hivern's end, he gets a notification that the client has accepted and the game is being set up
  17. [15:44] <DH42[GM]> He's greeted with this loading screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT2gfHU6yCU
  18. [15:45] * proteanChernobyl waits patiently while the rest of him do other things.
  19. [15:45] <DH42[GM]> After it finishes loading, your greeted with the sight of a human sitting at his computer staring at a computer screen.
  20. [15:46] * proteanChernobyl tries to find the machines his own server positioned
  21. [15:47] <DH42[GM]> There are severel options: Move, revise, deploy, phernalia registry, grist cache, Athenum, Alchemize
  22. [15:48] <proteanChernobyl> Grist cache. Caches store things, right? He checks there.
  23. [15:48] <DH42[GM]> It seems to show amounts of something called 'Grist'. It seems you have 20 BUILD GRIST to work with
  24. [15:49] <proteanChernobyl> Oh, just that again. Right. How about checking the registry?
  25. [15:50] <DH42[GM]> Seems you have severel objects in here: CRUXTRUDER, TOTEM LATHE, ALCHEMITER, AND A PUNCHED CARD
  26. [15:51] <proteanChernobyl> Oh, there we go. He sets those out.
  27. [15:51] <proteanChernobyl> In reverse order, just to make things interesting.
  28. [15:51] <DH42[GM]> [We'll do it one at a time]
  29. [15:51] <DH42[GM]> Nate, suddenly a PUNCHED CARD appears, floating in midair
  30. [15:51] <redClaw> "WHAT THE FUCK"
  31. [15:52] <redClaw> Nate sends out Savant to punch the hell out of it
  32. [15:52] <DH42[GM]> roll an attack.
  33. [15:53] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+1
  34. [15:53] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+1 --> [ 1d20=17 ] | {18}
  35. [15:53] <DH42[GM]> Roll damage
  36. [15:53] <redClaw> !roll 1d6
  37. [15:53] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d6 --> [ 1d6=4 ] | {4}
  38. [15:53] <DH42[GM]> Okay.
  39. [15:53] <DH42[GM]> Hivern, you suddenly see the surprised human manifest A STAND and punch the card, sending it flying across the room
  40. [15:54] <proteanChernobyl> ):O
  41. [15:54] * proteanChernobyl watches intently. The other machines can wait.
  42. [15:54] <redClaw> Nate, seeing the thing is no threat goes over to examine the card
  43. [15:55] <DH42[GM]> You look at the card, its like one of your syalldex cards. Oddly enough it's punched and has what appears to be a Text box on it with some kind of programming language written
  44. [15:56] * proteanChernobyl also observes it closely. This may be his last chance to see one of the mysterious punched cards.
  45. [15:56] <redClaw> Weird
  46. [15:56] <redClaw> Nate captchalogues the captchalogue card
  47. [15:57] <DH42[GM]> hivern you vaguely recall a dog being on yours, looks like the human has take the captchalogue card.
  48. [15:58] <proteanChernobyl> And he did. Boring. He puts out the rest of the machines, then.
  49. [15:58] <DH42[GM]> Which one first?
  50. [15:59] <proteanChernobyl> Alchemiter, Lathe, Cruxtruder.
  51. [15:59] <DH42[GM]> Nate, how messy is your room?
  52. [15:59] <redClaw> Fairly messy
  53. [16:00] <DH42[GM]> Doesn't seem like the Alchemiter fits in this messy room, it causes an ERROR when you try to place it ontop of something
  54. [16:00] <proteanChernobyl> Hmm. Another room, then- wait, no. What had his server done, move the walls?
  55. [16:01] * proteanChernobyl tries to make room.
  56. [16:01] <DH42[GM]> MOVE or REVISE?
  57. [16:02] <proteanChernobyl> Revise would make more sense.
  58. [16:04] <DH42[GM]> Alright, as you begin to make more room, the BUILD GRIST display pops up, making the square bigger causes it to drop more and more up to a limit of using all your grist. You can spend 20 grist to add a 2x2 meter area
  59. [16:04] <proteanChernobyl> Will that fit the machine?
  60. [16:05] <DH42[GM]> You would assume so.
  61. [16:05] <proteanChernobyl> Let's go for it.
  62. [16:05] <DH42[GM]> Suddenly Nate YOUR ROOM EXPANDS
  63. [16:05] <DH42[GM]> You now have an extra 2x2 area of your room
  64. [16:05] <redClaw> "WHAT THE FUCK"
  65. [16:05] <redClaw> He would start punching but...it's his room
  66. [16:06] <redClaw> He goes on the computer and sees what that game did to his house
  67. [16:06] <DH42[GM]> Indeed it is.
  68. [16:06] <DH42[GM]> You recall that proteanChernobyl connected to you
  69. [16:06] <redClaw> He notices the handle that was associated and starts a chat
  70. [16:06] <redClaw> redClaw [RC] began espering proteanChernobyl [PC]
  71. [16:06] <redClaw> RC: I KNEW you had a stand
  72. [16:06] <redClaw> RC: How else are you doing this
  73. [16:07] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I'm sorrY?
  74. [16:07] <redClaw> RC: You're the one fucking around with my house
  75. [16:07] <redClaw> RC: Well...quite it
  76. [16:07] <redClaw> quit*
  77. [16:07] <proteanChernobyl> PC: AlriGht.
  78. [16:08] * proteanChernobyl quits it.
  79. [16:08] <redClaw> RC: How are you even doing it?
  80. [16:09] <DH42[GM]> *Doesn't seem like you can HALT THE SERVER PROGRAM*
  81. [16:09] <DH42[GM]> You can only minimize it. It's a permanent process of your computer now.
  82. [16:09] <proteanChernobyl> PC: The ProGram has several oPtions for maniPulatinG the environment.
  83. [16:09] <redClaw> RC: So...not a stand
  84. [16:10] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I don't think so.
  85. [16:10] <redClaw> RC: So it's just that one guy
  86. [16:11] <proteanChernobyl> PC: What?
  87. [16:11] <redClaw> RC: His handle is cowardlyLion
  88. [16:11] <redClaw> Weird guy
  89. [16:11] <redClaw> RC: But he's cool
  90. [16:12] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I think I recoGnize that name.
  91. [16:13] <redClaw> RC: You do now?
  92. [16:14] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I believe so.
  93. [16:14] <DH42[GM]> IT'S THAT SO CALLED HIGHBLOOD SCUM
  94. [16:15] <DH42[GM]> [Even tho he ain't a highblood lol
  95. [16:15] <redClaw> RC: Well, I think he's cool
  96. [16:16] <proteanChernobyl> PC: Indeed.
  97. [16:16] <proteanChernobyl> PC: ... ProbablY.
  98. [16:16] <redClaw> RC: Hey, you type weird like him
  99. [16:16] <redClaw> RC: You capitalize your y's
  100. [16:17] <proteanChernobyl> PC: AmonG other letters, Yes.
  101. [16:17] <redClaw> RC: Weird
  102. [16:17] <proteanChernobyl> PC: How so?
  103. [16:18] <redClaw> RC: I mean, normal people don't do that
  104. [16:18] <redClaw> RC: Or maybe they do
  105. [16:18] <redClaw> RC: And I just haven't noticed before
  106. [16:18] <proteanChernobyl> PC: The maJoritY of PeoPle I know do.
  107. [16:19] <redClaw> RC: Maybe it's a cultural thing...
  108. [16:19] <redClaw> RC: Anyway, how were you able to see what you were manipulating in my house?
  109. [16:20] <proteanChernobyl> PC: Like I said, the ProGram has oPtions. It Gives me an idea of the surroundinG area it can affect.
  110. [16:20] <redClaw> RC: Well, what else can it do
  111. [16:20] <proteanChernobyl> PC: You said You didn't want me to trY and use it anYmore.
  112. [16:21] <redClaw> RC: Well, now you got my curious
  113. [16:21] <proteanChernobyl> PC: VerY well.
  114. [16:21] <redClaw> RC: Considering you already changed the layout of my house somehow, I kinda want to see what else it can do
  115. [16:21] * proteanChernobyl tries to find out what else he can do. Build.
  116. [16:22] <DH42[GM]> Your out of Build Grist!
  117. [16:22] <DH42[GM]> Seems like you can only MOVE and DEPLOY things from the REGISTRY for now
  118. [16:22] <proteanChernobyl> Hmm. Deploy the rest, then.
  119. [16:23] <proteanChernobyl> ... To different rooms where they'll fit, if need be.
  120. [16:23] <DH42[GM]> You place the ALCHEMITER in the small area you made. But nothing else is gonna fit there....
  121. [16:23] * proteanChernobyl puts the other stuff in the hallway.
  122. [16:24] <DH42[GM]> and at that moment... a METEOR crashes into the roof of that section. Knocking the ceiling out and causing it to be buried under cieling rubble.
  123. [16:24] <DH42[GM]> Seems only the TOTEM LATHE will fit in the hallway.
  124. [16:24] <proteanChernobyl> PC: ):O
  125. [16:24] <DH42[GM]> Unless you want to block him off forever from leaving.
  126. [16:24] <proteanChernobyl> Yeah, why not. That's what happened to him, after all.
  127. [16:24] <DH42[GM]> lol
  128. [16:24] <redClaw> RC: WHAT WAS THAT NOISE
  129. [16:25] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I believe Your hive was Just struck bY a meteor.
  130. [16:25] <DH42[GM]> Nate you FEEL three large things being placed before a BOOOM as the new section of your room is now covered in rubble and some sort of DEVICE
  131. [16:25] <redClaw> "FUCK MY HOUSE"
  132. [16:25] <redClaw> Nate examines the rubble
  133. [16:27] <DH42[GM]> Man this is gonna take forever to move. But hey you can climb outside using the rubble atleast
  134. [16:28] <redClaw> Great, a new fucking window
  135. [16:28] <redClaw> Nate looks at the machine
  136. [16:28] <DH42[GM]> From what you can see...it seems to have some sort of... scanning device?
  137. [16:29] <redClaw> Also weird. Well, he felt 3 things being put down, so he goes outside his room to see the others
  138. [16:29] <DH42[GM]> Your door is blocked.
  139. [16:29] <DH42[GM]> It cannot be opened.
  140. [16:29] <redClaw> Uh oh
  141. [16:30] <redClaw> Nate exits via the new hole and goes around to the front door to get to the hallway
  142. [16:30] <DH42[GM]> The CRUXTRUDER pings with a timer now, it displays: 30:00
  143. [16:30] <DH42[GM]> Roll Atheltics
  144. [16:30] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  145. [16:30] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=2 ] | {4}
  146. [16:31] <DH42[GM]> FUCKING RUUUUUUUBLE! You step on a loose rubble and slide down with it back into your room, cracking some of the discs you left laying on the floor. Welp. No more HALF-BITE 1
  147. [16:32] <redClaw> That was a collectible ;-;
  148. [16:32] <redClaw> He tries again to climb up
  149. [16:32] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  150. [16:32] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=20 ] | {22}
  151. [16:33] <DH42[GM]> Now you GOT IT! This poses no issue and your now standing on top of the new section of your house....on the second floor.
  152. [16:33] <redClaw> (I don't have a second floor)
  153. [16:34] <DH42[GM]> [You don't? I thought you did]
  154. [16:34] <redClaw> (Never have, never will)
  155. [16:34] <DH42[GM]> [Oh. Well, ontop of the first floor
  156. [16:35] <redClaw> Nate jumps off the roof to get to the front door and enter the hallway
  157. [16:35] <DH42[GM]> Your hallway is now cluttered with 2 more machines. The CRUXTRUDER and the TOTEM LATHE
  158. [16:35] <DH42[GM]> The CRUXTRUDER blocks the entrance to your room
  159. [16:36] <redClaw> Nate takes out his phone and resumes the conversation
  160. [16:36] <redClaw> RC: Hey, move this to the guest room or something
  161. [16:36] <redClaw> RC: I can't get to my room!
  162. [16:36] <proteanChernobyl> PC: AlriGht.
  163. [16:36] * proteanChernobyl tries to use Move.
  164. [16:36] <DH42[GM]> you can't. It requires BUILD GRIST to move it, a lot in fact. Your display shows: 100/20
  165. [16:37] <proteanChernobyl> PC: I cannot.
  166. [16:37] <proteanChernobyl> PC: You reQuire more build Grist before I can move anYthinG.
  167. [16:38] <redClaw> RC: Well fuck
  168. [16:38] <redClaw> Nate checks out these machines
  169. [16:39] <DH42[GM]> The TOTEM LATHE has a sharp carver like on it and seems to be waiting for something to carve, beside the slot is a panel that seems to have two things: a button and a card slot.
  170. [16:40] <DH42[GM]> The CRUXTRUDER is a very large machine with a timer that displays: 26:32, it has a crank and a lid too
  171. [16:40] <redClaw> Nate uncaptchalogues that card from earlier and puts it in the slot
  172. [16:41] <DH42[GM]> You put it in the slot.
  173. [16:41] <redClaw> Wonderful
  174. [16:41] <redClaw> Nate checks out the other meme
  175. [16:42] * proteanChernobyl watches intently. Can he figure out what to do?
  176. [16:42] <redClaw> machine*
  177. [16:42] <DH42[GM]> [Curses. I had a whole meme post ready XD]
  178. [16:43] <DH42[GM]> It's a large machine with a timer on display, along with a lid that covers the top and a crank.
  179. [16:43] <redClaw> Nate turns the crank
  180. [16:44] <DH42[GM]> You turn it...the lid goes up a bit before stopping. Seems it's stuck.
  181. [16:44] <redClaw> Nate brings out Savant to turn it for him. It's stronger than him after all
  182. [16:45] <DH42[GM]> Roll Strength
  183. [16:45] <redClaw> !roll 1d20
  184. [16:45] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20 --> [ 1d20=9 ] | {9}
  185. [16:45] <DH42[GM]> He can't either, it's pretty stuck on there.
  186. [16:47] <redClaw> Time to do something crazy, he tries to get Savant to Ba-da-Bing! the top off
  187. [16:47] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+1
  188. [16:47] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+1 --> [ 1d20=15 ] | {16}
  189. [16:48] <DH42[GM]> [Ba-da-bing?
  190. [16:48] <redClaw> (It's his ora ora ora)
  191. [16:48] <DH42[GM]> [Ooooh okay.]
  192. [16:48] <DH42[GM]> [Keep going, -2 to hit for each consecutive one
  193. [16:48] <redClaw> (What do you mean)
  194. [16:49] <DH42[GM]> [So basically with ORA ORA ORA. you keep attacking intill you miss
  195. [16:49] <DH42[GM]> [Each attack after the first one has a cumulative -2 penalty to hit
  196. [16:49] <redClaw> (So the next one is a -1 mod)
  197. [16:49] <DH42[GM]> [yes]
  198. [16:50] <redClaw> !Roll 1d20-1
  199. [16:50] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20-1 --> [ 1d20=4 ] | {3}
  200. [16:51] <redClaw> (Pretty sure I missed)
  201. [16:51] <DH42[GM]> [oh yeah
  202. [16:51] <DH42[GM]> [Roll damage for the first one tho
  203. [16:52] <redClaw> !roll 1d6
  204. [16:52] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d6 --> [ 1d6=4 ] | {4}
  205. [16:54] <DH42[GM]> WHAM! Your persona hits the lid, loosening it.
  206. [16:54] <DH42[GM]> [...stand
  207. [16:59] <redClaw> Nate now tries the crank
  208. [16:59] <DH42[GM]> The lid pops off, releasing a Kernel Sprite and a dowel
  209. [17:00] <redClaw> RC: OKAY WHAT IS THIS EPILEPSY INDUCING SPHERE
  210. [17:00] * proteanChernobyl looks to Yamisprite. "Good Question."
  211. [17:02] <DH42[GM]> Yamisprite suddenly has serious anime look "It's a newly made KERNEL SPRITE! It allows you to synchro summon a guide by placing things into it."
  212. [17:02] <redClaw> Nate takes the cylinder thing, trying to ignore the sphere
  213. [17:02] <DH42[GM]> The sphere follows you
  214. [17:02] <redClaw> "Go away!"
  215. [17:02] <redClaw> He places the cylinder in the other machine where he put the card
  216. [17:03] <proteanChernobyl> PC: It's a newlY made kernel sPrite. It allows You to sYnchro summon a Guide bY PlacinG thinGs into it.
  217. [17:03] <DH42[GM]> [SYNCHRO WHAT]
  218. [17:03] <proteanChernobyl> ((SYnchro summon))
  219. [17:03] <redClaw> RC: Alright...I think I'll ignore it for now
  220. [17:04] <DH42[GM]> Yamisprite "Young duelist, it's important he places things into it."
  221. [17:04] <DH42[GM]> You stand before the TOTEM LATHE
  222. [17:04] <proteanChernobyl> PC: APParentlY, it's imPortant for You to Place thinGs into it.
  223. [17:05] <redClaw> RC: Maybe later
  224. [17:05] <redClaw> He places the cylinder in the slot
  225. [17:06] <DH42[GM]> It fits
  226. [17:07] <redClaw> With both slots filled, he waits to see if something happens
  227. [17:07] <DH42[GM]> The TOTEM LATHE carves the DOWEL into a TOTEM
  228. [17:08] <DH42[GM]> It's rather...blocky shaped TOTEM
  229. [17:08] <redClaw> Now the cylinder is like a rectangular prism, weird
  230. [17:08] <redClaw> WHY IS EVERYTHING WEIRD
  231. [17:08] <redClaw> He takes the totem
  232. [17:09] <redClaw> He has an idea of where to take it, so he heads outside and remembers he set nothing up to get back into his room
  233. [17:09] <redClaw> Time for some Savant magic
  234. [17:09] <redClaw> He makes Savant pull the lever on his head to get a game genre
  235. [17:09] <redClaw> !roll 1d6
  236. [17:09] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d6 --> [ 1d6=1 ] | {1}
  237. [17:09] <redClaw> Platformer, perfect
  238. [17:09] <redClaw> He spawns a spring and tries to jump onto the roof
  239. [17:10] <DH42[GM]> Roll atheltics
  240. [17:11] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  241. [17:11] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=20 ] | {22}
  242. [17:11] <redClaw> :D
  243. [17:12] <DH42[GM]> BOING! You even get a flip or two and a STYLISH appears as you land in your room safe and sound. The rubble is still covering the ALCHEMIETER
  244. [17:12] <DH42[GM]> 18:13
  245. [17:14] <redClaw> Nate makes Savant choose another genre, maybe that will help
  246. [17:14] <redClaw> !roll 1d6
  247. [17:14] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d6 --> [ 1d6=6 ] | {6}
  248. [17:14] <redClaw> Puzzle genre
  249. [17:15] <redClaw> Nate makes Savant start shifting the floor around to try to move the rubble off the alchemiter
  250. [17:17] <DH42[GM]> Welp. You play TETRIS with the rubble and...eventually clear it successfully by getting TETRIS
  251. [17:17] <redClaw> Nate checks how much time he took
  252. [17:18] <DH42[GM]> Well...judging from your watch maybe 3 minutes? You can't see the CRUXTRUDER timer from here.
  253. [17:19] <redClaw> Shit, Nate places the non-cylinder on the alchemiter
  254. [17:19] <DH42[GM]> The ALCHEMITER springs to life and scans the TOTEM, after a few moments a COMPUTER AND A BOOK appear on the alchemiter platform.
  255. [17:20] <redClaw> This is all so weird
  256. [17:20] <redClaw> RC: Alright, what now
  257. [17:20] <DH42[GM]> Hivern can see the timer is at: 14:39
  258. [17:20] <proteanChernobyl> PC: Now finish the rest of the seQuence.
  259. [17:21] <redClaw> RC: Which is?
  260. [17:21] <proteanChernobyl> PC: Hard to saY. TrY killinG those thinGs.
  261. [17:22] <redClaw> RC: Kinda hard to kill something that isn't alive
  262. [17:22] <redClaw> RC: It's a computer and a book
  263. [17:22] <proteanChernobyl> PC: Then I have no idea.
  264. [17:23] <redClaw> RC: What about the sphere thing?
  265. [17:23] <redClaw> RC: Do I still have to do something with that?
  266. [17:23] <DH42[GM]> The sphere is behind you, floating there
  267. [17:23] <proteanChernobyl> PC: MY one recommends it.
  268. [17:27] <redClaw> Nate throws the half broken copy of Half-Bite 1 at it
  269. [17:28] <DH42[GM]> Roll an attack
  270. [17:28] <redClaw> What mod?
  271. [17:29] <DH42[GM]> str or dex, whichever is higher
  272. [17:30] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  273. [17:30] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=6 ] | {8}
  274. [17:30] <DH42[GM]> The kernel dodges the disc
  275. [17:31] <redClaw> He throws a card at it
  276. [17:32] <DH42[GM]> What's on the card?
  277. [17:32] <redClaw> It's just a playing card
  278. [17:32] <DH42[GM]> Roll an attack
  279. [17:32] <redClaw> !roll 1d52
  280. [17:32] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d52 --> [ 1d52=23 ] | {23}
  281. [17:33] <redClaw> That'd be a 10 of diamonds
  282. [17:33] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  283. [17:33] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=5 ] | {7}
  284. [17:33] <DH42[GM]> ok.
  285. [17:33] <DH42[GM]> IT dodges once more
  286. [17:33] <redClaw> It sure does
  287. [17:33] <redClaw> Nate throws another card
  288. [17:33] <DH42[GM]> Yamisprite "You could help him."
  289. [17:34] <redClaw> !roll 1d52
  290. [17:34] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d52 --> [ 1d52=17 ] | {17}
  291. [17:34] <redClaw> 4 of diamonds
  292. [17:34] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+2
  293. [17:34] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+2 --> [ 1d20=12 ] | {14}
  294. [17:34] <DH42[GM]> It dodges once more
  295. [17:36] <redClaw> (Dude, just give it to me)
  296. [17:36] <redClaw> (We might be here a while)
  297. [17:36] <proteanChernobyl> "No. This is somethinG he should do for himself."
  298. [17:36] <DH42[GM]> [The kernelsprite likes things that resemble living things remember?
  299. [17:37] <redClaw> (You think Nate has something like that?)
  300. [17:37] <DH42[GM]> [Maybe?]
  301. [17:37] <redClaw> Nate throws his Cyanide & Happiness plush at the kernel
  302. [17:38] <DH42[GM]> [Oh no.]
  303. [17:38] <DH42[GM]> It accepts it.
  304. [17:38] <redClaw> http://pics.blameitonthevoices.com/062009/small_plush%20cyanide%20and%20happiness.jpg
  305. [17:38] <redClaw> (This is what it looks like)
  306. [17:38] <DH42[GM]> It now looks like a Cyanide & Happines character.
  307. [17:38] <redClaw> Okay...
  308. [17:38] <redClaw> Nate now looks at the book and computer
  309. [17:39] <DH42[GM]> The computer is turned on to some kind of program, the book is a book on ~ATH coding
  310. [17:39] <redClaw> Oh no, Nate never learned this...
  311. [17:39] <redClaw> He looks at what the program is
  312. [17:40] <DH42[GM]> The program is an incomplete program of PAC-MAN, while it can spawn stuff and create the image...it's impossible to win currently.
  313. [17:41] <redClaw> He looks at the code
  314. [17:42] <DH42[GM]> There are some functions that aren't made yet. Specfically WIN_CONDITION, OUTSIDE_BOX, and ENTRY_PROTOCAL
  315. [17:43] <redClaw> Nate checks what the book has to say about such programs
  316. [17:43] <DH42[GM]> the book gives you an in-depth very detailed and easy to understand knowledge about coding.
  317. [17:44] <redClaw> Nate tries his hand at making the WIN_CONDITION be linked to the ENTRY_PROTOCAL, so that entering the game makes you win it
  318. [17:45] <DH42[GM]> Neat. Roll Engineering
  319. [17:45] <redClaw> !roll 1d20+1
  320. [17:45] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+1 --> [ 1d20=7 ] | {8}
  321. [17:45] <redClaw> (Dice why must you hate me)
  322. [17:46] <DH42[GM]> You accidently program it to TERMINATE upon running.
  323. [17:46] <redClaw> Nate deletes that code and starts over
  324. [17:46] <redClaw> He tries to do the same thing
  325. [17:46] <redClaw> !Roll 1d20+1
  326. [17:46] <Kaiserbot[Dice]> rolled 1d20+1 --> [ 1d20=4 ] | {5}
  327. [17:47] <redClaw> (I'm gonna fucking break something jeez)
  328. [17:47] <DH42[GM]> [Oh yeah
  329. [17:47] <DH42[GM]> What the heck. Now packman is chasing the ghosts.
  330. [17:47] <DH42[GM]> This is somewhat entertaining.
  331. [17:47] <redClaw> "PAC-MAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING"
  332. [17:47] <redClaw> Time to try something else
  333. [17:48] <redClaw> He just makes the WIN_CONDITION be pressing a key
  334. [17:48] <redClaw> Like...x
  335. [17:48] <DH42[GM]> No roll for that. Done
  336. [17:48] <DH42[GM]> Run the program?
  337. [17:49] <redClaw> Yeah, sure
  338. [17:49] <redClaw> He starts it and presses x
  339. [17:50] <redClaw> (Dinner is starting, be quick)
  340. [17:50] <DH42[GM]> When he presses X, the computer begins fuming and a message pops up stating "WELCOME TO ENTRY!" Before it explodes in a flash of light, everything goes white.
  341. [17:50] <redClaw> (Alright, someone pastebin this I gotta go)
