  1. Well... we all knew this was coming didn't we? Ever since alpha our player base has been soreing more then we ever had before which is great... but also horrible at the same time.

  3. Since alpha was deployed we have had a steady influx of new players who just want to kill things and fuck any RP. Becuase of this our playerbase has split in half from the old players who maintain some semblence of RP and teamwork and the newer players that just want to be heros and rambos. Becuase of the split it's created a sort of "vortex" of players who keep clashing IC and OOC due to their differnces in play style diminishing the overall experience of the game from pre-alpha where teamwork was still a thing to now where most squads split up the moment they hit the ground and sqauds bickering over each other becuase the SL want's respect and the standard just want's to kill things.

  5. Another issue is that our staff is nowhere near active enough to manage such a large population which is another reason why we have been deteriorating so much as of late.

Face it, we didn't expect our playerbase to ride so high for so long especially with so many new players bringing a disregard for auctal roleplay and teamwork in favor of run 'n gun "fuck what ever anyone says I just wanna kill shit" which I mean has alwasy been a part of the server to a point but never at this level.

  9. Becuase of this I prepose we bring the motherfucking hammer down. Altought this WILL rekt our large playerbase and prolly put us down in the ranks it will allow us back in the semblance we have before with a mix of RP, Teamwork and run 'n gun.

  11. The plan would be to enable small or medium timelocks on important positions such as SL or CO something we have been talking about for a while and attempt to... "reinforce" more possitive roleplay and teamwork as well as try to give the sulaco crew something more to do instead of sitting around doing almost nothing which is one of the reasons we have begun to have no CO even on 60+ population rounds. Hell I might even consider voteing a population limit for the server.

  13. While this might all seem a little extreme this isn't just some small time thing we are talking about here, this is the future of the server and our playerbase. Try to remember that the server was never made to handle 70+ people per round and we have had to change so much so fast just o be able to keep the server from implodeing on its self. So the question is, do we want to contiune the way we are? or do we want to attempt to bring order back like it was in pre-alpha?
