The lonely walk back is just as wet now as on the surface. Lyn can hear the laughter of the fickle and mighty storm spirit overhead, like gales of strong wind and the smacking of heavy raindrops on rooftops and windshields. The webbing of the city's Umbral reflection catches the Wyld dew, which rests gently on its patterns and, somehow, reminds of a long-lost world away from this one, even as that dread siren echoes through the spiritual realm.

Somewhere around the point of the restaurant, you can't help but feel like you're being watched.

In the meantime, Lyn has shifted to Lupus form to make the trip back to the sept quicker. But the sharp senses of her wolf self quickly notice that something's changed. She slows her pace, raising her guard once more to assess the situation.

... It's a woman, you notice, after drawing particularly close to the restaurant window. It's an odd sight, seeing a woman in Roman-style armor and dress sipping on a coffee cup.

....Okay. That's not normal. The fact that she's so glaringly out of place and showing up in the Umbra like this is definitely a tip-off that she's a spirit. She creeps closer to the window, now staring back at the woman.

The woman beckons you inside. The door to the Umbral restaurant sticks a bit with the webbing, but the inside is warm and smells, even here, of spices and fried meats. Given the circumstances, it seems like the storm spirit you petitioned doesn't seem to mind your brief departure from its chiminage.

The battle's over anyway, and it seems like whatever this is, it's important enough that the storm spirit is willing to give her a break. Interesting... She creeps into the restaurant, over by the woman's feet, and sits down on her haunches.
