is told tales of Domalakazam destroying the league, taking over the region, enslaving all the dark type mons.

Domalakazam sits in his tower in Urigellerville.  But it's protected.  Nobody can go in or out.

Domalakazam recruited members into his his Demurdercrat Army, spreading his rule.

The E4 and jim leaders put up a final stand against Domalakazam, but they failed.  Domalakazam inserted spies into their ranks, destroying them from within before they even got to the final fight.

Some of the Jim Leaders turned on the league because of promises of power by Domalakazam.  They were traitors that caused the combined effort to fail.

Others fought hard and were defeated and enslaved.  Others escaped.

However, Leaders Ayohm and Kap'n Kooma stood their ground, and remain in the region fighting.  Ayohm has used his substantial wealth to outfit new trainers with pokemon to fight this war.  Kap'n Kooma, meanwhile, sails the seas around the region looking for answers, help, allies, and power to turn the tides of battle.

Kelcyus was a leader who escaped to exile to work on inventions that could turn the tide of this war.  He developed the Keepo Wristwatch, which is the key to destroying Domalakazam once and for all.

The Koopa Wristwatch can channel the Domalakazam power and break through the barrier at Urigellerville.  However...

The barrier is too strong right now, and the watch too weak.  Domalakazam had magical Spires constructed throughout the region that feed power to the tower.  If you could destroy these spires... you could enhance the powers of the Koopa Watch and dismantle the power of the barrier at the same time.

Wild pokemon have vanished for the most part, so it is unclear how you will gain new allies.  But you must go nonetheless.

Pokemon that are released are instantly killed, and no longer yield any points.  Thus, releasing pokemon is no longer recommended as there is no benefit.

First Target: Head to the Lotid Mt. of Trials for some answers and guidance

Speak with Ayohm's aide (or Ayohm) about the corrupted mons and the device given to you.
Player chooses one of his corrupted mons to use the device on.  That mon becomes purified!  A PURIFIED MON LOSES 1/5 (20%) OF ITS LEVEL! (rounded up, so a level 2 corrupted mon would lose 1 level because 20% of 2 is 0.4, which always rounds up to 1, so lose 1 level).  Once purified, a mon can be taught whatever level up moves it wants that it could have learned up to that level.
Player chooses a second corrupted mon to the device on, but the device malfunctions.  The lab in Fromodar City may have some answers, but it is currently overrun by the Demurdercratic Army.  Nevertheless, it's the only way to really make a push against Domalakazam, and thus the player heads there.

Before Kelcius left, he also developed a new form of TM - numbered discs called Superb Discs.  But the Demurdercrats just stole nearly all of them.  Only a few remain.
Aides give player SD1, SD2, and SD3.  SD1 contains Grass Pledge, SD2 contains Fire Pledge, and SD3 contains Water Pledge.
You can use Super Discs multiple times, and you will be notified what pokemon are compatible.  For these Pledge SDs, every single pokemon that shares the type with the pledge can learn the move (this means NOT starters can also learn it from the Disc).  Other SDs won't be as universal, so pay attention.  Player may find more in his adventure if he follows the Demurdercratic army.

Aides take a look at the strange device.  Aides identify it as a Partially Plutonic Purifying Particalizer, or PPPP for short (Quad P is its street name).  It can purify those corrupted pokemon from Domalakzam's grasp.
Aides fix the device, and immediately all corrupted pokemon in players possession are purified.
Aides need to keep device in the lab, though.  If they had a Freezing Core they could contain the raw power of the device and create individualized particles for the player to take with him.
Player should go to Pole City.  There is a magical spire there constructed by Domalakazam.  The player could destroy the spire and acquire a Freezing Core at the same time.

Ayohm (or aide) tells player that Kap'n Kooma sailed to the Orre region and brought back a machine for player to use.  It's called a "Snaggerz Machine."  It can be used to identify - and capture - corrupted pokemon.  The original model - the "Snag Machine" or so - only worked with Shadow pokemon, but Ayohm's million dollar scientists made a few adjustments.
When the player begins a fight where a corrupted pokemon exists, he will be notified.  The player will then be asked to identify the corrupted mon, and if the player defeats the trainer, the snag machine snaps the pokeball away from the trainer after the fight.  So no "catching" is necessary.
There have been reports of some wild pokemon in the region after all.  Player is given unlimited pokeballs just in case he runs into any.
Player is told to continue to Pole City to smash the spire and get the Freezing Core.

Lab:

Leader Ayohm is at the lab with the Aides.  Player hands over the Freezing Core, as well as any Purifying Creams he may have.
The Freezing Core reacts with the Partially Plutonic Purifying Particalizer!  All "corrupted" mons in players possession are purified!
Just as this occurs, the lab gets attacked!  There is an attack on multiple sides!  Leader Ayohm tells the player that he'll get the back door, but the player must take the front and side doors!
New mechanic: Party Split!  The player must split his team into two groups to fight off two battles at once.  Leader Ayohm is leaving his level 50 Sylveon with the player for the fights, so they can have that Sylveon be in one of their groups.
Battle splits will happen more often in TPPLA2.  Both battles happen simultaneously, and you must win both battles to win, otherwise you have to start over.
Tell player to split into two groups (one with 6 mon, the other with 5 mon + Ayohm's Sylveon).  Label them "Front Door team" and "Side Door team"

You are now able to see and command your pokemon even when they are far away, meaning you can split your party more often and more efficiently now when necessary.  Can attack an entire city from multiple directions if so desired and if you have enough pokemon.

After the fight, player also gets Ultra Purifying Orb - this acts like a Purifying Cream, but is unlimited.  From now on, any corrupted pokemon the player obtains can be immediately purified using the orb!

Ayohm gives a little speech, then tells player he's done all he can for the player for now.  When they cross the sea, Kap'n Kooma will meet the player at Lotidcove.  From there on out, he'll help the player continue the journey.

The Cavern of Nightmares

Before entering the cavern, you see someone in the distance.  It's clearly... (choose between any of the fossil leaders that you chose to align with earlier.  They will be your ally in the cavern.  If you did NOT align with ANY fossil leaders earlier in the adventure, and you had a chance to align with each one, then you get no ally in the cavern).

After the fight, Domalakazam flees to the pokemon league.  You need to go through victory road to reach him.  Although he was wounded, his true terrible form has yet to surface...

Outskirts of Urigellerville

Before setting out after Domalakazam, Kap'n Kooma and Ayohm meet the player.  They say it is too dangerous, and need to be sure that the player is ready.  Soo...
Fight against Ayohm and Kap'n Kooma!  The two fights happen at the same time, and thus the player must split his group into two parties.
The fight can only happen under the following situations:
Situation #1: AOMRocks20 and Kooma9 are both online and ready to fight at the same time.  The two fights will then proceed at once.
Situation #2: AOMRocks20 is online, but Kooma9 is not, but a proctor (not AOM) is online.  AOMRocks20 controls his team for the fight, while a proctor controls Kooma9's team.
Situation #3: Kooma9 is online, but AOMRocks20 is not, but a proctor (not Kooma) is online.  Kooma9 controls his team, while a proctor controls AOMRocks20's team.
Situation #4: Neither AOMRocks20 nor Kooma9 are online and ready to fight, a proctor IS online and ready to fight, AND the player has waited for over 48 hours for either AOM or Kooma to fight but has not been able to fight.
