- This is a more offensive set than the one I previously had. It utilises Substitute to avoid status, which allows it to KO would-be walls like Rotom-Wash and Mew. It can also be used as a buffer against negative effects. Zen Headbutt may be utilised since it provides additional coverage and STAB. Knock Off allows Mega Gallade to beat psychic and ghost type Pokemon, while Close Combat provides the immediate power. Sword Dance completes the set by increasing Mega Gallade's attack stat. It can also be used in conjunction with Substitute to protect against negative status.
