01:32:23: <CounterBeard> Savage. You and Biter just finished your chat and are chilling in your tree. You two were just about to go on Adventure~
01:36:54: <CounterBeard> Are you going to go play with your old friends? Or will you see if you can't stir up a little trouble in town? Maybe see if you can't snatch a pie of a window sill or something silly. Or start an improvised hopscotch game across the most busy street in town?
01:38:43: <CounterBeard> Or perhaps do some wallside doodling? Etch forever your trials and tribulations as a TalentScout. Or just get some breakfast.
01:41:42: <Savage> The last one sounds particularly nice! Food is good, afterall; so Savage wakes up his remaining companions and heads out for breakfast. There's a little cafe place he used to go to, and that's a good start; maybe he'll run into someone to start trouble with~
01:48:39: <CounterBeard> Biter waddles along with Savage <So what did you all do here? Before you left to join the others?> As you enter town a few people stare at you. Well. They squint really. A few of the older folks do openly stare. You think you see a few of the kids you used to run with years ago actually working, uniforms and everything at a local marketplace.
01:50:48: <Savage> "I used to... cause all sorts of trouble!" Savage grins proudly, not just telling this to Biter but all his companions. He's kind of used to the staring here, hardly registering how... different he looks, compared to when he left - he even waves to a lot of them.
01:55:54: <CounterBeard> Some of them wave back half heartidly. Most of them just watch in awe or fear. The cafe seems fairly packed for being so early in the morning, the patio is full of people munching on waffles and pamcakes and crepes and sausages.
01:59:22: <Savage> Savage grins as he arrives at the cafe, quickly making an order for himself and his little pack of buddies. Which is to say, delicious sweetstuff for half his pack and delicious meatstuff for himself, Wotter, and Biter ("Hey, Biter, you like meat, right? 8D")
02:06:37: <CounterBeard> <Ilovemeats! The best is nice salty tough jerky> =D
02:07:37: Savage obtains jerky for Biter! And then goes to sit down outside with his pack, invariably drawing even more looks than when he walked into the store. He still seems happy and chipper to be back in town.
02:10:04: <CounterBeard> The waiter nods and taking your order. Some of the patrons look at all your pokepals and yourself and whisper quietly. THe waiter comes back fairly quickly with a medley of delicious. Even bringing out a baconshake.
02:12:01: <CounterBeard> Biter begins to omnom its jerky and drink some of the bacon shake <This is great! Sweet and salty and creamy and drinkable!>
02:13:43: <Savage> "Yup, it's a good place~" Savage and friends enjoy breakfast! He is in a good mood until about halfway through - at which point his mood seems to sink a little. Nobody's come up to say hi, and well sure he hasn't initiated either, but... by now, he would've expected something. Are they all angry at him? D:
02:21:12: <CounterBeard> All your companions finish eating with full little bellies. Even Biter seems to be stuffed. Zenhat seems to notice something as your pack starts to wiggle and shake.
02:23:36: <Savage> "?" Of course Zenhat would notice the pack moving, Savage does not a wisdom stat. "Huhn?" he leeeans over the pack and then starts opening it up.
02:25:34: <CounterBeard> It would seem the egg is rocking back and forth, it's fianlly hatching! Dundundundun. After a few moments the little egg cracks, and shutters and a teenyweeny beak peaks outs. And chirps. The shell with the hat and goggles slides off as the tiny bird ruffles its feathers and stares up out of the bag.
02:27:24: <Savage> "Hiya!" Savage grins down at the little Rufflet with a big grin. "Nice to meet you!"

02:29:46: <CounterBeard> It pecks the side of the hatcher finally getting up and moving around. Zenthat turns around a few times on your head to get morecomfortable and points at a few children walking past you down the street. "Zen."
02:31:09: <Savage> "Oh!" Oh boy oh boy, friends--oh god oh god he's got a newborn on his hands, too. Damn you, responsibility! He still helps the rufflet out of his pack and into his arms as he waves down the kids, calling out to them.
02:34:51: <CounterBeard> The two boys stop. One of them is wearing khaki's a hoodie and an old beat up baseball cap. The other is sort of chunky with glasses and an oversized green trenchcoat, it drags on the ground as he walks. You know these kids. Thomas (Ballcap) and Boris (Trenchcoat)
02:36:14: <Savage> "Oi~!" Savage hollers a little, trying to draw their attention. "Thomas~! Boris~!" if they weren't going to greet him themselves, he'd do it. Whether or not they'd recognise him, though, might be another matter.
02:40:19: <CounterBeard> The two kids turn around and both freeze "Shit, it's that weird guy Julie told us about, how does it know our names?!. Book it Boris!" "Dang it Tommy do you know how hard it is to run with all this stuff!" Both of the boys start to run Thomas a bit faster than Boris.
02:43:11: <Savage> "..." That... was not the expectation Savage was expecting. "Who're they calling a weird guy?" he frowns, not even really aware of himself. For a moment, he almost takes off running... but there's still food here to finish off, so he decides to let them away for now. He'll just... keep an eye out for someone else, instead. :<
02:44:19: <CounterBeard> The boys are heading in a fairly familiar direction...Wait a second, wasn't THAT place over there?
02:44:29: <CounterBeard> Anyway the little bird starts to pick at some of the leftovers.
02:47:15: <Savage> Savage grins as he watches the newest member of his little family. He's such a proud daddy. That, and now he's all thinking about where to go. Maybe it is time to head to THAT place...
02:47:38: <CounterBeard> "Cheepcheep?" It seems to be looking at some left over crepe. It pecks at it a makes a face. 'Cheep!'
02:48:41: <Savage> Savage laughs a little and offers it some leftover meat instead. It seems like it'll grow up to be a big strong bird of prey anyway.
02:50:55: <CounterBeard> It eats some meat and starts to hop around cheeping like a mad thing. It starts to gorge its little self eating all the meat offered. After its tinyfeast it look sup to Savage and hops into his hands and fluffles/nestles down. It seems to want to take a nap.
02:52:02: <Savage> "Hahaha... alright, little guy, let's go," Savage gets it comfy in his hands. "I should think of a name for you, yes..." this is like a sidethought as he checks with his buddies to make sure they're done, before heading out of town... and towards THAT place.
02:52:45: <CounterBeard> Biter watches the little birdy <Hey Uncle. WHO is that?>
02:52:48: <CounterBeard> All your friends seem to be done.
02:53:28: <Savage> "This little guy was a gift from Lindsey and her family~" he nods. "...Wait, or is that girl...?" it would be a little impolite to check right now.
02:55:12: <Savage> More importantly, though, THAT place! It's not like Savage doesn't remember how to get there, because it's not like it has been all that long or like he didn't use to spend a lot of time there. All he has to do is follow a certain stream and make a turn at the little waterfall it makes...
02:55:13: <CounterBeard> <Ohokay. Where are we going? I could almost take a nap...That was good food.>
02:55:45: <Savage> "We're going to this town's secret place," he grins. "Shuilian~"
02:56:21: <CounterBeard> <Shuilian? That sounds cool!> Biter waddles along. <Whats a Shuilian?>
02:58:02: <Savage> "It apparently means 'under the waterfall' or something," Savage nods, trying to be sage. "It's not actually under a waterfall, though that'd be cool, but the falls around here aren't big enough to hide anything. So... we made a secret place nearby~"

03:00:16: <Savage> "Yup!" Savage grins, trying not to move quite as quick as he normally would - he can't carry All These Companions, afterall, and only Cuddles would know the way here anyway if he got lost. "Headquarters for us troublemaking kids~"

03:11:14: <CounterBeard> As you walk to your SuperSecretBase you feel a something snake around your ankle...and kachung! All of a sudden your whole world is flipped. Most of your companions fall off. Well, Zenthat and Tessy stay. But birdy, Wotter and Berry fall down.
03:11:32: <CounterBeard> The little bird woken from its slumber seems incredibly indignant. "Cheep!?"
03:12:04: <Savage> Savage snatches for birdy to try to keep him from falling he probably doesn't even know how to fly yet D:
03:13:03: <CounterBeard> Wotter and Biter have your back Wotter jumps up and catches poor birdy and Biter floats them back down.
03:15:24: <Savage> "Phew!" Savage grins. And then - FINALLY - realises he's upside down, and for once it's not his fault. It takes him a little bit to realise... "Hey wait a second when did this get here, I'm pretty sure I never set one here."
03:17:09: <CounterBeard> "YOU set one? Of course you didn't! I did!" Tommy peaks out behind a tree, Boris does from another and a little girl with black hair and overalls does another. "Toldya he was weirdlookin'!" the girl who might be Julie says. Boris pipes up his voice cracking "But, now what do we do?"
03:20:07: <Savage> "Oh!" Savage grins wide. "You guys have learned well, then~" he totally hasn't caught on that they don't recognise him, so he's acting totally casual about the fact he's hanging up in the air by one foot and a rope.
03:21:33: <CounterBeard> The three of them form a little huddle group. Thomas eventually standing up "The motion is passed! Let's hit with sticks!"
03:21:53: <Savage> "Huhwhat?"
03:24:01: <Savage> This is not what Savage expected! D:
03:25:04: <CounterBeard> "Yeahhittumwithastick!" "Ugh. Why does his vote count for ten?" the kids all grab a stick and slowly creep closer to upsidedownsavage. And slowly tap him with a stick. "Do we really got to hit him?" Boris asks. "Well. No. Maybe we can just spin him around and make him dizzy?" "Yeahhittum- awww."
03:26:17: <Savage> "Being spun around sounds nice, but I dunno how Tessy'd take it," Savage looks down (up?) at his pocketspider, more worried for the little guy than the kids who are... ... threatening? Does this even count
03:27:53: <CounterBeard> Eventuall Thomas starts to spin Savage via a stick. "Who are you? Why do you keep following us? Why do you look so weird? WHYDIDYOUKILLCUDDLESANDTURNHIMINTOAHAT?!"
03:29:25: <Savage> "I didn't kill Cuddles! Cuddles, say hi!" Savage completely fails to answer the more important questions.
03:31:11: <CounterBeard> Zenthat waves. "CUDDLES! Wait. Why is cuddles with this weirdo?" =D
03:32:00: <Savage> "Because he's always been with me, you sillies," Savage laughs. "Now would you let me down?"
03:34:09: <CounterBeard> They all stare up before yelling in unison "Big Brother?"
03:35:52: <Savage> "Yeah, of course it's me!" Savage is all grins. "Now, seriously, you wanna let me down or do I have to do it myself~?"
03:39:52: <CounterBeard> Boris lets you down and stares open mouth. Thomas pipes up "You look...So different."
03:42:04: <Savage> "Do I?" he has hardly noticed, but yes. His skin is a touch redder, and his hands are sort of dark, and his hair's all sorts of different and there are patterns starting to show on his chest and all sorts of little things. He's probably just lacking a tail - though it might be because he hasn't noticed he's got it yet.
03:42:30: <Savage> He sits himself down underneath the trap, gathering up babbybird into his arms again. "I hadn't really noticed!"
03:44:07: <CounterBeard> "Cheepcheep' it stares at the kids acusingly.
03:44:58: <CounterBeard> "Wherehaveyouneeb?" Julie asks ploping down next to savage and staring at Wotter and Biter. Boris sits down and tries to poke at berry. Thomas stands and leans against a tree.
03:47:57: <Savage> "I've been out founding the region's Pokemon league!" Savage boldly proclaims. "Oh, right, these are my new buddies... Gabbery, Tessy, Wotter... and this is my nephew Biter, and this little guy I haven't named yet but he hatched this morning~"

03:50:19: <CounterBeard> "Woooooow. Wait. What does that mean? You making a league for pokemon? I thought catching pokemon was bad?" Boris asks as he patpats berry on the leaves.
03:52:09: <Savage> "Well, it is, but that doesn't mean you have to do it to participate!" Savage laughs. "Though y'know, outside of this town... I'm pretty sure I was the only one thinking that way," he frowns a little, thoughtful for a moment.
03:53:02: <CounterBeard> "So why are you back then?" Thomas asks from his leantree.
03:55:48: <Savage> "'cause we're gonna set up a gym in town here--" Savage kind of trails off a bit as he gets ~*~ideas~*~
04:01:29: <CounterBeard> "Here? Really? That'dbesocool!" Julie squeals. "What does a gymdoanyway?"
04:03:24: <Savage> "Well, they stand there and be all forboding and they're supposed to be like 'SO YOU WANT MY BADGE?' to challengers, and then they have a friendly battle and have lots of fun! And the gym leaders are supposed to be tough because you have to beat 'em to... something."
04:03:36: <Savage> "... Nobody's told me what happens once you beat all the gyms yet!"
04:04:56: <CounterBeard> "You get their badges. I watch the Internationals with my family!" Boris says excitedly. "This means that maybe we can be pokemontrainers!"
04:08:21: <Savage> "Oh!" Savage nods. "I thought there was something more than that, but still, yeah! Even if a lot of people are gonna be using balls, I don't think it's a requirement, and I know you guys wanted to be trainers, so~!"
04:11:56: <CounterBeard> "Yeah!" Both Boris and Julie start chattering on about being pokemon trainers for a while. Thomas just stands there watching.
04:13:33: Savage leeeeeans over to Thomas with a big grin, in his usual way of trying to get Thomas to open up.
04:21:49: <CounterBeard> "How long are you going to be in town?"
04:22:58: <Savage> "Um... hm. Probably not as long as I'd like. A few days?" it occurs to Savage he doesn't really know.
04:27:23: <CounterBeard> "Oh. Okay. Then you are gonna leave again?" Thomas asks. The other two stop chattering for a moment waiting for a reply.
04:27:55: <Savage> "...Yeah, it means I've gotta leave again afterwards," he nods, enthusiasm only slightly dampened.
04:36:58: <CounterBeard> All three children seem lose their enthusiasm, "So you are gonna ditch us again? What are we gonna do when you are gone?" Thomas asks, his fists in a ball. "
04:40:52: <Savage> "Hey, hey, I don't... I don't really mean to be ditching you guys!" Savage frowns. "...I mean, it's not like I won't be back when I'm done..."
04:45:55: <CounterBeard> Julie looks up at Savage "You are going to come back right?"
04:47:24: <Savage> "Of course I am!" he nods solidly. "This is pretty much my home, afterall!"
04:48:06: <CounterBeard> Thomas turns away. "Then I guess it's okay...Just make sure you do!"

04:50:10: <Savage> "'Course I will! Besides, I'm still here for now, right?"
04:53:04: <CounterBeard> 'Good! We need to do something HUGE now that you are back though...I dunno what though." Julie mumbles to herself. "Yeah. You and Thomas always came up with stuff for us to do." Boris chimes in.
04:54:00: <Savage> Savage ponders this for a moment. "Well... hm, I--" and then he starts grinning wide.
04:56:11: <CounterBeard> Thomas turns around slowly. "Big Bro? Where is Little Bro?"
04:57:25: <Savage> "Well..." Savage's grin falters. And falls, rather quickly.

06:45:26: <CounterBeard> Both Thomas and Boris get a shade paler, Julie just stops moving going still. "W-what?"
06:46:21: <Savage> "Sorry. I got in the middle of a fight that I... didn't really understand, and he protected me and Cuddles. And, well..." :<
06:48:00: <CounterBeard> Julie starts to cry. Boris is just staring at the ground between his feet. Thomas though, he is staring directly at Savage.
06:48:58: <Savage> "...Hey, hey," Savage shuffles over and gives Julie a big hug. And is joined by all the buddies.
06:49:32: <CounterBeard> Even Biter joins in on the grouphug.
06:50:59: <CounterBeard> "B-but S-Sunny!" She cries into Savage's shoulder. Boris is still quietly just staring, until he asks "Why were you fighting?"
06:53:22: Savage patpats. "...I'm still trying to understand it myself. But some people out there... really don't like what I'm trying to do, and I didn't realise how far they'd go until it was... a little too late."
06:55:48: <CounterBeard> Thomas turns and punches hisleaning tree "God damn it....Why? Why did they have to fight like this? You guys are just setting up a pokemon League right? For fun? Why would they KILL?"
06:58:02: <Savage> "I'm glad SOMEONE gets it," Savage almost sounds... relieved? It's a stark contrast to everyone else. "It's stupid."
07:00:04: <CounterBeard> Thomas turns back around and runs up to Savage, and starts trying to shake him by the shoulders. Which is sort of funny since he is only like 4'8'' "Who did it?! I-I'll kill them! Killthem!"
07:03:41: <Savage> Savage throws one arm around Thomas in a hug. "...It's alright. It's taken care of."
07:04:52: <CounterBeard> Thomas starts to beat on Savages chest "Nonono it isn't alright!" The blows continue until Thomas, just starts to cry into Savage.
07:06:24: Savage holds the two of them close, and looks up to Boris who is not in the hugpile, to see how he's holding up.
07:07:18: <CounterBeard> Boris is just sitting by himself, wrapped up in his oversized trenchcoat like a little tent.
07:08:21: <CounterBeard> He seems to be hiccuping but otherwise alright
07:08:26: Savage kind of lifts his eyes up to look at Cuddles and nods himself over towards Boris. He's only got so many arms to hug people with D:
07:09:22: <CounterBeard> Cuddles does a flying leap and hathugs Boris. Boris now hows an oversized trenchcoat and a zenthat. Cuddles seems to be making little chitterpurrs ontop of his head.
07:11:36: Savage smiles a little at the hnnngh, still holding the other two close; he's really not sure what to say. He'll have to go apologize to Mumma Wukong and Papah Wukong too about their son, sometime.
07:12:36: <CounterBeard> The kids eventually calm down but they all still hiccup every now and again. They sit all in a row. Julie, Boris then Thomas. Then Biter.
07:15:50: Savage is glad they're calmed down, at least somewhat now. He's not quite sure where to go from here.
07:16:35: <CounterBeard> "S-so what are we-we gonna do?" Thomas asks.
07:17:46: <Savage> "...That's a good question," Savage ponders. And then, "But, I think... I'm gonna need your guys' help for something."
