Podcast Without Pretense Ep. 117 companion: Iyaz's notes

- Now the story shifts to Dante the Great, the magician who was arrested for something. He got a cloak that may have belonged to Harry Houdini. The cloak can appear to float on its own? Cut to Dante footage in his garage pulling a rabbit through his cloak and some kind of warp dimension.

- Dante was a big deal and was all over Las Vegas. Now we go to very stunned Dante audience members.

- Dante footage in his garage again. He skins the rabbit w/o touching it and does some Street Fighter 2 fire magic.

- More Dante footage where he is losing his mind since the cloak isn't doing its thing. Dante films a girl in a shower -- he hands her the cloak instead of a towel. The girl is then quickly killed in the shower by a hand? The thing inside the cloak.

- Dante footage sleeping with a woman. He puts the cloak on the girl, chants and the cloak eats the woman. Like devour - eats.

- Back to Scarlett the assistant's police recording. Scarlett says she wanted to be a magician so that's why she became Dante's assistant.

- What the hell happened to Kev? Scarlett talks of Clay her boyfriend. Cut to footage of Clay slapping Scarlett and Dante comes out to console her.

- Scarlett brought video tapes of the murders that Dante recorded to the Atlanta police. Cut to the video footage of Kevin pulling Clay from his cloak and breaking Clay's bones via gestures. Cloak over Clay - we don't see Clay eaten, but that must be what happened.

- So the cloak gives him control of the force -- sort of. Telekensis. Scarlett is sucked out her chair through the cloak to Dante's stage. Swat team tries to take down Dante, but it doesn't work b/c Dante is pretty much all powerful. Scarlett has the cloak for a moment, but Dante takes it back. They have a fight on the walls. So if you touch the cloak, you can have force powers. Dante's dead b/c Scarlett can control the cloak (and the cloak ate Dante).

- People guessing what happened to Dante and the Cloak

- Cut to footage of Scarlett recording herself with the cloak in a case. Now we go to footage from her webcam. Scarlett is in her BR and the loak is hanging in the closet. Something came OUT of the cloak to grab Scarlett -

NOW we go back to Iris and Kevin. Kevin is biking and talking to Iris on a Skype video call.

Okay - now there's a thin guy with a nosebleed staring at his phone and he's seeing the same thing Kevin was seeing on his phone. We're back at the police chase and at an overpass. Everyone tries to record what's going on, some guy falls off.

- Kevin says the ambulance/ice cream truck/van thing is going in circles - drags another cyclist. Some cyclists have GoPros.

- Guy being dragged by van has feet shorn off by street. Ew. Other GoPro bro dies b/c hit by car.


CUT to new people. In an apt speaking spanish. The guy is recording an experiment. He's making a teleporter of some kind. That's my guess. He made a portal. A motherfucking portal. Alfonso has a portal to talk to other Alfonso from another world. They are both married to Marta. Alfonso warns alfonso not to cross the portal. BUt Alfonso doesn't listen to Alfonso.


The Alfonsos want to switch places for 15 minutes. Everything is reversed in other universe. Alfonso 1 sees some kind of occult picture hanging up on the wall of Alfonso 2. Alfonso 2 finds a wedding picture in the analogous spot. Alfonso 1 is talking to Marta 2 who is readying champagne.

ALfonso 2 is going up the stairs.

Alfonso 1 is meeting Oriol, a guy by the pool in a bathing suit. Now Oriol 2 w/o a beard. alfonso 2 finds Marta 1. Back to Marta 2 - she's trying to get the men drunk.

Alfonso 2 is into weird shit. There's a bag of meat suspended in the LR with candles surrounding it.

Alfonso 2 is taking pictures of Marta 1. Alfonso 1 is confused about what they were supposed to do in the LR (as am I). Marta 2 isn't a fan of Alfonso. Alfonso runs outside to check out what a loud humming is. It's a blimp with an upside down cross and horns. He runs into the Oriols. They don't like being recorded. Now the Oriols have glowing eyes, mouths and demon voices.

Alfonso 2 is also glowing at the mouth and eyes. Penis hand puppets come out of their pants. (Alfonso 2 in front of Marta 1, Oriols to Alfonso 1). Marta 1 undresses for Alfonso 2 - teeth abdomen. Alfonso 1 runs into 2 covered in blood. 1 asks what happened to Marta, so A2 stabs A1. A2 runs into M2 who then goes demonic and kills A2 with her sex organ teeth. A1 closes the portal.

M2 is covered in blood too with a knife. She stabs A1 with the knife a whole bunch of times.



On to the dangerous Latino stereotype section of town (the Kevin and Iris story continues). Someone has stabbed a dog with a BBQ fork. Man kills man over dog. Killed everyone with forks. it IS an ice cream truck.

Kevin goes by on his bike chasing the ice cream truck.

Now everything is calm. and a kid is trying to jump from one rooftop to the next. now a hemet cam where a kid fails at a jump down the stairs. Skater punks all get gopros.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THIS STORY RIGHT NOW.

Now we're stuck with skater kids and their amazing story telling ability. Their plan is to go to Tiajuana. Skater kids find occult signage at TJ. Kid gets hurt skating, bleeds, throws the blood off his hand into pentagram, blood burns. Creepy lady shows up. And now there is a dude who showed up. Uh, Creepy lady ripped off camera guy's arm.

MOAR creepy people show up w/ weapons.

Skater kid shoots one creepy guy. Shoots more creepy guys. Another creepy kid killed by skateboard to the head. Blood is on fire on the ground. now people are on fire. Kids are using machetes. So we're getting very first person killing footage. Unique

Tijuana police helicopter shows up.

Okay --- so the skater kids survived. Like 2 of them. "they killed gas money kid and camera guy.." great line.

Okay, so something made a noise by a grate and all the dead creepers got up. Skater kids run away.

Something heavy is walking around. Just ate camera guy kid or gas money guy.

BACK TO KEVIN and the ice cream truck chase.
Kevin runs into someone on a phone, nose bleed, ears bleeding.

Now we're in a car and a really creepy guy is directing a girl to take off her clothes. She says "you don't recognize me?" She pulls out a gun, takes the camera, turns the camera on the creepy guy. has him strip. He posted pictures or vids of her -- she threatens to kill him, he chokes her, cop car come flying through the windshield.


ANNND BACK TO KEVIN
He's in a tunnel? sees phones on the ground and fins the ice cream truck. He goes into the truck - and it's full of cameras and TVs. iris is in the TV talking to Kevin. She wants Kevin to start the upload so he can be a part of something bigger than him. Iris is hurting herself to threaten him? Yes.

Iris is found outside of the truck, bashed in with a phone her mouth. Camera is showing kevin in selfie mode.
