	Situated on the scenic South-East Asiatic Peninsula, Myanmar is one of the larger countries in the area, with a total area of 678,500 square kilometers.  Of course, in Myanmar, we don't use the metric OR imperial systems- our official system of measurement is our own!  678,500km is about 530,078 Kawtha, or 1.28 km to the Kawtha!
	Myanmar is well known in the international community as an exporter of oil, lumber, and...beans!  Much local food is based on beans and legumes.  Be sure to try some while you're here!  Of course, the rice, a major staple in this part of the world, is also a big hit-accounting for 97% of our grain production!
	While Myanmar is a beautiful country, many areas are off-limits to you.  This is for your own protection, as dangerous animals live in these areas.  The military of Myanmar will do its best to inform you if you are entering a restricted area, so that you don't get yourself into trouble.  Also, please stay in and around your resort hotel complex-it'll be safer that way for everyone.  Note that the locals may not wish to speak to you about much.  This is a sign of respect.  Please remember that our ways may be very different from where you come from, and not to take offense!
