Best AAR ever

What Happened:

We went out in a Jove BS gang to go hunting down WTs who were asking for a fair fight. Alarien set up his Rorqual to be our scout. He started cyno from system to system to see what was there. We had him go into some wormholes and ask who was there in local. Alarien then noticed a Gold Magnate soloing L6s. Alarien was chasing after a Gold Magnate in this ship when he was Titan dropped. The rest of the fleet immediately equipped jump drives and bridged to Jove space. The fleet scrammed him and started shooting at him with one launcher each. It took a while to kill him because the Goons, Test, and somehow BoB from 2007 bridged in with a temporal cyno and started fighting with a few thousand ships. As it turns out, BoB alliance fell apart because all the people jumped out of 2007 into today. After they had destroyed the sov outposts in system, they moved in to finish off the roqual, but they got bubbled by spies from the guiding hand social club. After the Goons, Test, and BoB got whelped this other fleet jumped through a C7 wormhole that opened on top of him and started to kill him. He started burning away from their fleet and they used a probing Hel to get a solution on him. After they warped to him, he bumped them a few au away and continued to try to warp to him. Alarien got tricked into joining fleet with when he sent a few bil isk to be doubled and he thought they were convoing him to tell him when the money was coming. They dropped on grid a few kms from him and were able to keep pace because of their boosting thrasher. They got him to half shield, but alarien used all him nano paste to rep him mid fight. CCP dropped some roaches on him to start RR because he is their bro. Alarien tried to offer them some tengu BPOs for ransom, but they got dropped into a poco that was accidentally bombed by the oracles. He got alpha-ed by the falcon and popped.

What we should have done:

We should have fitted small smart bombs to take out the Test titans because of their beneficial cycle time. Alarien should have fitted some 1mn microwarps because his low sig radius meant he could not tank the stations well enough. As well, we should have had some of the new unis running their tackle apoc imperial issues because of their strong cap regen. We should have had more ECM ragnaroks as well because we are finding that our uni fleets dont have enough ecm.

What worked well:

The neuting noobships were super effective, their fleet was very cap dry. As well, the kiting armor blaster drakes were excellent, their damage projection was incredible. The cov ops hot drops with the machs and nightmares really surprised them in the end.

In the end we reimbursed the lose from the faction towers that dropped from their inties. So it all worked out in the end.
