A look of dismay is spread across Williford’s face, as he stares down into the rubble that was his invention. You pat him on the shoulder, telling him there’s always a next time. He thanks you for your help and hands you a regal and piece of his contraption as a keepsake. He settles back into the shade of the tree in defeat.
