I had an interview today for a similar but more-responsibilities job. Same overall employer (the state) but different agency, which would be kind of nice since my current position has been getting annoying (I pbmonday ranted about it a few months ago). I think the interview went decently well, so we'll see what happens. It was also the least nerve-wracking job interview I've ever had (for jobs in a relevant field - my jobs as a busboy and as a Dunkin' Donuts donut factory worker were just "are you physically capable of standing for several hours? cool you're hired") - I think it was partially because I actually had confidence that I knew what I was talking about and partially because I knew the guy doing the interview (met him a bunch of times over the last couple years).

It's late August so Oktoberfest beers are coming out and this makes me happy. It also means that summer is almost over, which also makes me happy. Bring on the low humidity.

Video games: Torchlight 2 is pretty fun. I'm playing Engineer so I'm smashing things with giant hammers and stuff.

I'm doing well, overall.
