+Spherical Trigonometry __ Without any doubt "Robert Wadlow" was a tall and large man. *No doubt about it.* However - are there any photos of him wearing shorts where we can clearly see his feet and know for sure that his legs weren't boosted - _if only a little_ - by some kind of stilts?

(Or is it like with "Jeff Bauman" where there are no photos of him with legs visible that prove he wasn't a pre-existing amputee? We just have to trust that he wasn't and must we trust "Robert Wadlow" didn't cheat?)

Given that it's 2017 you'd think the world record for tallest person would have by now been broken. Every other world record - in every possible way - has been broken. But currently the tallest man is a tiny 8'3".

"Robert Wadlow" apparently kept growing up until he died at the age of 22. That's awfully convenient if it was a circus act at risk of being revealed.

By continuing to grow he remained the talk of the town with people returning to see him even taller than last time. And by dying young - *at perhaps an impossible human height* - a niche is formed that can never be broken thus making the scammers perpetually wealthy (since it will never be beaten if he cheated and no one will get away with cheating that particular record again).

A simple but clear photo of his legs - _just one_ - would qualify as "sufficient proof" and settle the suspicion. After a quick image search I couldn't find any of him wearing shorts etc.

I think it's reasonable to call bullsh!t on the claim if there really are no photos of him at that record height showing his legs given that after all these years the record doesn't come close to being beaten.

If it were me I'd want plenty of photos taken that include my legs so that paranoid conspiracy theorists in 2017 wouldn't start doubting it on Google's increasingly wretched platform!

+Spherical Trigonometry __ I'm not suggesting he was a midget on stilts. He was clearly gigantic - of that there can be no doubt.

However - with just a small boost to his already massive height he can ensure he sets the world record *forevermore*. This in turn makes his family and the scammers a perpetual income since the record cannot be beaten. No one gives a sh!t about the second tallest person or who used to be the tallest.

(That's my point as well - surely every other human record from those days have been beaten but not this one. And that's what makes it "stand out" so to speak.)

The Guinness Book of World Records have featured this guy. Where's a photo of him standing next to a height chart without shoes on? Wouldn't you expect to be able to find such a photo? Just one?

I stopped trusting the Guinness Book of World Records when I found out they awarded records to "NASA" for alleged achievements that have no way of ever being verified such as the furthest man-made satellite orbiting the Earth. So what other records have made it in that book which were not properly verified?

It could be that there were numerous photos of him in the past wearing shorts and standing next to height charts without shoes (making it unreasonable to doubt the claim). That would instantly settle the dispute.

But in 2017 I am not finding any such photos - none of him standing next to an official height chart which show his feet. We need to see his feet to know there isn't a small boost - even if it's just an inch or two (to seal his record for eternity).

And so - even if it's legitimate (and it may well have been) it is being presented to us without "sufficient proof" (that which necessarily proves the claim). We are thus forced to trust those who are telling us the story/legend.

Just as we are forced to trust there really are people living and breathing aboard the alleged "ISS" (yet after more than 15 years there hasn't been a mere 10 minutes of live-streamed "ISS" footage that upon scrutiny remains free from glaring glitches, clever cuts, sneaky edits and misdirecting pans).

Routinely presenting events and claims without "sufficient proof" is a clever propaganda strategy that incrementally trains the population to accept lies as truth. Once you know to look for this strategy you see it in use everywhere.

The way "Robert Wadlow" is being presented to us (at least in 2017) is without "sufficient proof" and for that reason has the lie system's distinctive signature.

(It's not about the claim being false - it's about the way a potentially true claim is being presented. When true claims are consistently presented in the same form a lie would need to take it enables lies to be accepted as truth when those lies are being presented as "truth" in that same special way.)
