+Steve Bergman __ Hey buddy, the way you have those flatties pegged you might be all sorts of clever. Suppose a blind-from-birth kid were to ask you whether or not the Earth is spinning how would you explain it? Would you be tempted to reply, _"Listen kid, it's what all them science books say!"._ Suppose the kid isn't satisfied with your satisfaction and says, _"But mister your breath stinks and I think that's because you are full of sh!t. Everyone tells me that as a blind kid my other senses are heightened yet I feel no movement whatsoever. When travelling in a car - I feel it. When I'm not in motion - I feel no motion. _So are you lying to me?_ If you are you're going straight to hell. Prove to me that the Earth is moving."

Whether or not you can explain it to the blind kid he does have you on the breath thing. So how might a clever chap like you - _someone who has those flatties pegged_ - prove to a blind-from-birth kid about your assertion of a spinning Earth? Or do you really just believe because of what you read in a book at an age when you didn't yet know just how bad adults lie - especially to little kids?
