	1/20m of terrorism

Laws impact freedom, but provides security

In the world of democracies, civil rights are ensured in legislation through case law or federal legislation. Ex. Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom

Tasks that prevents terrorism and protect citizens from terrorisms will impact human rights and freedoms.

Canadian charter of rights and freedom protects and maintains the liberty and democracy. Just like Declaration of Independence for United States. These constitutions guarantee freedom of conscience and religion, freedom of thoughts, freedom of peaceful assembly, and freedom of association.

Surveillance is watching and monitor people's communication. This is a way for government to see if a threat is imminent.
We won't say some things in front of certain people, the same is to criticize government, because they are listening.

The goal for modern terrorist, what these terrorists want to achieve can be to scare people, but is there more to it?
Some terrorists wants to force thoughts, it can nurture envy.
Jihadists is the people who have the goal to cast terror in other's lives. But it is different from Islam.

Extremists are a very diverse group. Their views are extreme, and they are willing to use violence to achieve it. Innocent people are part of the collateral damage.

Terrorist organization is often criticizing and placing threats democracy.

What is a stake is the freedom of people.
