Assistant US Attorney Stephen P Heymann DOX

Aaron Swartz took his own life in the weeks before a trial in which he faced 35 years in prison. Whether this was mere coincidence or if two years of hounding and the threat of decades behind bars drove Aaron's terrible choice, we should take note of the US Attorney's relentless pursuit. It's hard work to take, for instance, Aaron's trivial use of Curl and turn it into an urgent threat against the nation.

Did we mention Heymann has done this before?  Jonathan James committed suicide at age 16 after Heymann ruthlessly pursued him for months.  James was the first juvenile indicted under cybercrime laws.

The federal prosecutor who did such an admirable job is Stephen P. Heymann. Do let him know you appreciate his selfless labors.
