STUFF AND THINGS ABOUT BUGS

GENERAL BUG INFORMATION GLEANED FROM QUESTIONING THE MAYORESS AND PRIEST AT THE KULEN TEMPLE
(This stuff's for the benefit of any characters who didn't go to the temple or doesn't really remember what happened. If everyone's already up to speed, Crow will skip the bits people already know.)
- Supposedly the bugs (known as the Cursed Ones) were once humans who were cursed by the Night God for blaspheming and were forced underground, where they would be protected by Berget Stora
- The Kulen mayoress and priest believe hosting the bugs will slowly revert the Cursed Ones back to human with every generation. This has been going on for thousands of years
- Normally humans infected by bugs take 4 years before the bugs complete their incubation, burst free, and return to their holes
- There are 3 bug holes: Kulen (Sun God territory), Rota (Night God territory), and Hemlig (possibly Berget Stora's territory)
- The symbol on the mayoress and priest's cloaks supposedly helped protect them from the bugs

ABOUT BERGET STORA (and bugs)
- The Triple Spiral symbol is Berget Stora's symbol of the Warrior.
- Another character Crow has talked to has said the symbol means "evolution" or "enlightenment" in his home world
- The mayoress has said she is seeking the evolution (of the Cursed Ones)
- This symbol has been encountered during an attempt to leave Ryslig via the mountains to the east. (This attempt is generally known as the mountain expedition)
- The mountain expedition was stopped by an unknown something, but Crow theorises it's bugs. On the night before the Kulen temple was opened, a strange but distinctive sound was heard. That was the same sound that was heard in the mountains before everyone fell unconscious. Crow didn't personally hear it at Kulen since he was zzz, but he has confirmation from two expedition members.
- After expedition members regained consciousness, they were marked by the Triple Spiral symbol. It disappeared after a few weeks.
- Crow, Kaito and Yuzu were on this expedition, but Kaito was too busy being dead to receive the symbol.
- [Note: Crow doesn't remember the dreams people had during the Vows event, which had mention of Berget Stora and evidence of the existence of monsters prior to the current monsters. So someone else can fill that in if they do remember and are willing to share.]

ABOUT HEMLIG (and previous monsters)
- Recently there was a second expedition to Hemlig (one of the northern islands), which holds temple ruins and one of the three bug holes
- The writing on the temple ruins in Hemlig is the same as what's used in Night God religious texts (as well as Liewen's notes). To Crow, this suggests anyone with some kind of deity affiliations may be able to translate it.
- Currently there is no full translation of the writing. We only have a few words from Mana. The only other person who can translate it is Frankie from the Bloody Bones. Note that he can do a FULL translation, unlike Mana.
- There's evidence of previous generations of monsters, in the form of a chained monster skeleton in a sunken ship off the coast of Hemlig.
- Crow, Fang, and Kaito are the only ones of the group who were on this second Hemlig expedition (at least as far as I know?)
