[13:02] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Last time we joined the group of wasteland wanderers, they were dealing with the aftermath of the assault on Gutterville. Though the raiders had been successfully erraticated, the town had suffered losses, primarily at the hooves of the raider leader known as Dagger. Primer and Lily sought to comfort an orphaned colt while the rest of the group took measures to prevent such a thing from happening again
[13:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Wraith` was chastised by Gardenia for his more 'excessive' incentive against raider activity, although she then pleaded with the group to take Twerp along with them for a little while, fearing he might be subjected to some backlash from emotionally conflicted and hurt civilians.
[13:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 We join the group now as they arrive in Shantyshod once again
07[13:06] * @Wraith` is still silent, his fury now just smoldering embers as he looks at his companions, glad to be away from that place. He does his best to ignore Twerp's staring... though it was rubbing him raw.

07[13:07] * +Primer trotts along happily, holding her new LMG by the carrying handle like a dog with a bone.
07[13:09] * +Fire_Lily is deep in thought. After they finish this errand, she's going to see her parents again... What will they say? Will they be angry with her? Can she even face them after all this time?
07[13:13] * +Keen is still heavy of step, trying to buck up, on the way to Shantyshod. Yaay.
07[13:14] * @Wraith` takes out one of his cigarettes and lights it with his scratched steel lighter. Puffing on it for a moment, he blows out small plumes of smoke, as he puts everything away save for the single cigarette. He could use more throwing spears... 07[13:16] * +Primer stops and looks down at Shantyshod, waggin her tail as she does. "Mfff..." She lays the LMG down. "Okay."
15[13:18] * +Karina just shakes her head, laughing a bit to herself at the silliness. "I've got the rest of the stuff. We go and sell it, it will be far more than enough."
07[13:20] * +Fire_Lily is kinda not really paying attention to where everyone is going. She's just... thinking, and staring at her hooves.
04[13:20] * +Keen smiles at Primer a little. At least she's happy. He then looks at Karina. "Far more than enough for what?"
[13:20] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 As the group proceeds into Shantyshod, they head towards a trader in hopes of cashing in the haul from the small army of raiders. However, along the way they are approached by a familiar face. Once again, the town guard who they were previously acquainted with through Sweet Dreams has shown up. He spots the group and heads straight up to them.
15[13:20] * +Karina looks up at Keen. "Pay off Storm's rifle."
04[13:21] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The town guard stops when he hears Karina make that comment; "Oh. Well, that saves me the trouble of some of my explanation."
07[13:23] * +Primer gives the guard a raised eyebrow.
15[13:23] * +Karina blinks. "Huh?"
07[13:25] * +Keen nods. Right. Expand the armory. Whatever. "... Hm. It's probably about time to buy equipment myself."
07[13:25] * @Wraith` smokes his cigarette as he looks at the guard.
[13:25] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guard nods; "Well, your friend came by five days ago and picked up her rifle early, and gave your name for the payment. The bigwigs were still expecting to be paid off relatively soon, so they wanted us to keep an eye out for you. I'm glad you're here, because on a big order like that, the might have called in some less than pleasant folk to try and collect otherwise."
[13:26] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guard continues; "But, given what you did for me and what i knew you were like, I told them you'd be here, and here you are."

15[13:29] * +Karina rolls her eyes. "Of course she did..." She nods. "And yes." She just shakes her head and continues moving on towards the place to sell junk.
[13:31] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guard points to the Ironshad facility; "Maybe you can get in and talk with the big Wigs yourself. Maybe they'll cut you a deal or something. At the very least, they'd probably take payment out of that haul you're carrying. For parts alone if nothing else."
07[13:31] * @Wraith` snorts and just adds it to the list of needing to give Storm a proper greeting if she ever returned.
07[13:31] * +Keen slowly blinks, rather unimpressed. "Joy. I don't suppose they deal in Magic Energy Weapons there as well?"

[13:43] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Heading up the street towards the Ironshod facility at the center of town, the group reaches the vendor box, only to find that the robot inside was not active. Instead, a steel grey earth pony with a cobalt mane was tinkering with its innards.
07[13:44] * +Primer walks up, spits out the LMG and asks the gray EP. "The teller's busted?"
07[13:46] * @Wraith` is about halfway through in smoking his tobacco item. It was a good thing he was dead and didn't have to worry about the debilitating effects of smoking.
07[13:47] * +Keen taps on the glass in the vendor box. "Um. Hello?"
07[13:47] * +Fire_Lily gives the pony a curious glance as he works on the robot.
[13:48] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The EP looks up, bits of wire in his teeth. He spits them out before speaking; "Yeah. Damn thing's on the fritz. Lousy pre-war junk." He gives the robot a kick before continuing. "I might be able to help though; I'm Klinker, Ratchet and Wagon Wheel's youngest son."
07[13:49] * +Keen nods. "My name is Keen. It's a pleasure to meet you." He looks around the box. "... I don't suppose you have any magical energy weapons hoofy?"
07[13:50] * +Primer lays a hoof at Keen's shoulder. "Keen, he's a repairpony, not a shopkeep."
15[13:51] * +Karina facehoofs and fades off to the back of the group.
07[13:52] * +Keen looks at Primer and shrugs. "It doesn't hurt anypony to ask if he's allowed to."
07[13:52] * +Fire_Lily keeps looking for a little longer before asking, "...What was wrong with it? It was very helpful last time..."
[13:52] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker chuckles; "Well, maybe not officially, but since our current representative is down... what have you got? As for magical energy weapons, you might want to talk to Mrs. Van Hoof. She runs a smaller shop on the outskirts of town. Most people prefer bullets though because magic ammo is scarce, so it's not realy much competition."
07[13:52] * @Wraith` pulls out his aged combat knife and begins to do knife-play with it... How does he manage to do this with hooves and fetlocks? Don't ask.
07[13:53] * +Primer rolls her eyes. Not going to bother then. "Well, we need to talk to the bosses."
[13:53] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker looks to Lily, then stops and observes her with a momentary pause before answering. "Well, apparently it's a problem with the processor. I think. Like it tried to process or invent a subroutine for something it wasn't originally designed for."

[13:55] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The robot sparks for a moment, then the audio processor spouts out three words, badly garbled and distorted, before quieting from a hoof smack from Klinker.
07[13:55] * +Keen raises an eyebrow. "They're not supposed to do that." Then again, Genivive isn't supposed to hit on your marefriend. "What conditions was it trying to meet? What do you know about the subroutine?"
07[13:56] * +Fire_Lily gives the repairpony a blank look. She has no idea what that means.
15[13:57] * +Karina suddenly has a giggle fit.
04[13:58] * +Primer blinks at Karina. "Huh?"
04[13:58] * @Wraith` looks at Karina, with eyes that expressed that he expected some sort of explanation.

15[13:59] * +Karina bites her lip to calm down. "What it just said there... was that it was in love with a cyber mare."

07[14:00] * @Wraith` shakes his head and looks away. He just, wasn't in the mood to make a snarky response in jest.
07[14:00] * +Keen hung his head. "Yeah. Yeah, I heard that, too. Primer, just... I didn't mean this to happen."
04[14:00] * +Fire_Lily gives Kar a confused look. That seems... strange.
07[14:01] * +Primer bites her lip... smirks a little... then falls over, laughing her rump off.
15[14:03] * +Karina falls back into her giggle fit.
07[14:03] * +Keen closes his eyes and... Well, he just kinda started snickering. He sincerely looks like he's trying to stop, but can't.
[14:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker attempts to clean out his ear; "I think I missed something."
07[14:04] * +Keen hung his head, speaking between bursts of laughter. "I really need to-" Giggle fit. "Find out a way to neuter robots."
07[14:05] * @Wraith` snorts and actually sorta chuckles at Keen's comment. Now that was funny.
07[14:06] * +Fire_Lily turns to look at Keen now. Why is everypony laughing?
[14:06] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker goes back to tinkering with the robot while he waits for the laughter to stop.
07[14:07] * +Keen forced himself to calm down. Deep breaths... Okay, one more giggle fit, then I can stop. Okay, one more. Okay. I'm stopping now. This is a  thing that's happening. "So, um. Yeah. Sorry about your troubles. I don't suppose I can help you?"
07[14:07] * +Primer slowly gets over her laughing fit, sitting up as she does. "Oh... that was good.... but seriously... the heck is up with that?"
[14:09] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker looks up again, setting down his wire cutters; "I have no idea. Unfortunately the only way into this box is through the factory, and non-personel aren't allowed in the main factory floor. Unless you can tell me what to do from there."
07[14:09] * +Keen lifts his hooves. "I don't even know! The only thing I can think of is that-" Oh, damnit, I was done laughing! Here I go again. After his third attempt at trying to stop laughing and failing, he wiped a tear from his eye and snorted. "Sorry. I think it's some sort of electro-magic interference."
[14:10] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker blinks; "Interference from what though? And what is so funny?'
15[14:10] * +Karina sighs as she finally stops laughing and just lays down on the ground.
07[14:11] * +Primer blinks at Klinker... nope, not telling.
07[14:12] * +Fire_Lily decides to just take out a book and read at this point. She just doesn't get it.
07[14:13] * +Primer curls up around Fire_Lily. She gives the filly a nuzzle and makes herself into the best reading chair ever.
07[14:13] * @Wraith` shakes his head to Klinker saying, "Weird shit." then finishes his cigarette, dropping the butt on the ground and stomping on it. Letting out a long sigh he adds, "We about ready to... y'know... pay the bitches' dues and shit?"

[14:26] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker adds, gesturing to Fire Lily; "This is probably just a coincidence, but that filly there has a striking resemblance to my great aunt."
07[14:27] * +Keen shrugs. "That kind of sucks. I know how that feels, my parents were both unicorns. First born,  but not really anything I could do with anything they had."
07[14:27] * @Wraith` blinks and squints at Klinker, looking at him curiously.
[14:28] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker shrugs; "It ain't so bad. Not quite as heavy on the responsibility, but I still get to work around here and live about as well as one can outside of Tenpony."

07[14:28] * +Fire_Lily didn't really take note of what the pony said. She was a little tired of all the technical stuff, so she stopped paying attention.

07[14:30] * +Keen shrugs. "I don't know. Just being sociable, I guess."

04[14:32] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker nods; 'Well, alright then. Anyways..." He stops for a moment as Karina brings out the weapons. One in particular catches his eye. "Is that a pre-war IS 45-70 Ministry Brush Gun?" His eyes seem to be lit up. "With a scope?!"

[14:33] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker seems very impressed; "We actually don't make anything in the 45-70 range. I've always wanted to get my hooves on one of those. The scope is a nice touch, feels more personalized. I don't know what our normal rate it, but I'll give you 2800 for it right now from my own pocket."

15[14:50] * +Karina blinks at Fire_Lily. Well -that- will make getting out from under the AMR debt easy and cheap...
07[14:50] * +Fire_Lily turns to Keen briefly before turning back to Klinker. "You said Twinkle Star, didn't you?"

[14:57] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker raises an eyebrow; "No fires. No houses burning down. Our family keeps this town running, so if something like that happened here, we'd know."
04[14:58] * @Wraith` trots over close to Karina and whispers quietly to her, "Seeing as this might be Lily's relatives and we got the cash to repay these guys, I'm gonna go get some supplies from the local trader, alright?"

07[15:00] * @Wraith` shakes his head and responds, "No... he ain't a bigoted foal-killer, so I got no problems with em."

07[15:02] * @Wraith` snorts and says, "We all make mistakes." then turns and makes his way to the trader to conduct business with him.
[15:03] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 When Wraith` reaches the trader's shop, he finds Twerp inside, still in his Mare-do-Well outfit, scurrying about the store. He seems to have managed to find a reasonable selection of old comic books.
07[15:04] * +Fire_Lily gives Keen a confused sort of look, and whispers, "You're not talking about... me... are you?"
[15:04] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The shopkeep looks to Wraith` as he comes in, chuckling and pointing a hoof at Twerp; "I think someone's a fan. Doesn't seem too bright though," he whispers

15[15:13] * +Karina sighs. "Okay, he said the office entrance was this way." He turns and starts to head for the constabulary. Or however it's spelt.
07[15:13] * +Primer looks at Klinker blankly. It's as if an omnipotent force was stalling. "Well, we want to talk about whoever's in charge about some finansual stuff, more specifically, a A-M Rifle that was recently picked up."

[15:14] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 "120 each for the spears, and I've got one suit of old Military police armour."
[15:14] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Klinker nods; "Oh, I heard about that. Yeah, just go through the constabulary into the office and tell them your business. Either my father or sister will help you. He's the head and she's next in line, so they've got more info than I do."

07[15:22] * +Primer nods. "Of course." Like she was going to use a 25mm indoors. She leaves the battle saddle and any other nessessary firearm by a table or locker or something.
[15:22] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The other guard points Primer to a locker; "Your posessions will be held here until your return. The mare in the back is also asked to turn in the .308 rifle. The rest are fine, but know that any discharge of weapons inside will bring all of security down on you, and we are exceedingly well armed."
[15:22] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guard saying that statement has a back mounted HMG for emphasis of that point

[15:25] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The other guard chuckles; "But for the Steel Rangers, we'd have the best armaments around. At least they don't see our operation as worth the risk to try and take over."
15[15:26] * +Karina "Huh." She walks over to Primer's locker, unslings her sniper rifle, and props it up in there as well.
07[15:26] * +Keen decides that discretion is the best part of valor and doesn't decide to speak up about his choice of weapons. Hey, you can't have a caliber without a bullet, right?
[15:27] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The guard doesn't say anythign about Keen's weapons, either not recognizing them or not thinking them important. He closes the locker after the weapons are deposited and locks it, then opens the door to the office area. Immediately through the door is a set of stairs leading up
07[15:28] * +Keen leans forward and floats over the steps. It's been a while since he's used his wings and they needed the workout.
07[15:28] * +Fire_Lily sticks next to Primer. She feels safer that way. These security ponies are pretty intimidating.

07[15:29] * @Wraith` coughs, waiting for an answer to his question of whether or not the shopkeep had any healing potions he could give a bundle discount deal with his spears, since he offered to do so with the comics.

[15:30] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The stairs eventually lead to the Factory's upper level, which is remarkably similar in design to the Equestrian Robotics factory the group once visited. There's a hallway of offices to the group's left, then right leads to some catwalks over the factory floor, where they can see the various munitions makers at work. One stretch of catwalk leads to a single, big and important looking office.
[15:31] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The shopkeep has two healing potions in stock. 450 for the lot
07[15:33] * @Wraith` nods to the deal, offering his caps for the three throwing spears and two healing potions. "One last question... you got any stealthbucks laying about?" It indeed would be his last question.
[15:33] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The merchant blinks; "Any what?"
07[15:34] * +Primer shrugs and walks up to the important looking dorr and knocks if she can't just find a bellpull.

[15:35] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 A stallion's voice answers from behind the door; "Who's there? State your business."
07[15:36] * @Wraith` shakes his head and responds, "Nothing, nevermind, thanks for the gear." The ghoul turns and takes a look at Twerp as he exits the shop, the changeling was just a nut for this Mare-do-well character... Leaving the shop proper, he makes his way to the bar in the town.
07[15:37] * +Primer answers. "Primer and company, here to talk about a recently bought A-M rifle."
[15:38] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The Stalion responds; "Alright. Come in; I don't have any appointments at the moment."
07[15:38] * +Primer opens the door and enters, looking around what's presumably an office.
07[15:39] * +Keen raises a hoof, then remembers that this pony can't see him. "Um. Yes, we're here about an A-M rifle bought by our... Friend, Desert_Storm." He opened the door and looked inside.
[15:41] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 It is indeed an office, and a surprising well kept one for being from a wartime factory. There are a few filing cabinets with papers both in and on them, four loose safes stacked against the wall, in which another safe is embedded. At the desk sits a stallion who is the same steel grey colour as Klinker, but with a greying mane instead.
15[15:42] * +Karina steps in behind the group and finds an empty spot of a wall to lean up against.
07[15:42] * +Keen clears his throat. "Um. Hello!" He tried to sound cheery. It didn't work.
04[15:43] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The stallion rummages through some folders and eventually comes up with a receipt and an order sheet. "Yes, hello, I see you. Just had to find the right order slip. Now then, which one of you is Kar?"
07[15:43] * +Fire_Lily follows Primer inside the office and sits next to her, watching both interestedly and apprehensively.
15[15:43] * +Karina sighs and pushes back off the wall. "That'd be me."
04[15:43] * +Primer walks up to the desk and the pony. "So, we're here about Storm's rifle. Appa-" She looks ar Kar, then back to the pony behind the desk.
04[15:45] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The stallion look over to her. "A zebra. How exotic. Anyways, the name Kar was given as the payor for this rifle when it was picked up. We weren't certain about it until one of our constables told us you were reputable. So, the fact that you're here I assume means he was right, and you're to pay off the remainder of the rifle."

07[15:46] * +Primer looks blankly at the stallion. "You mean to tell me, that you hoofed over a custom order rifle, to somepony just because they knew a name?"

They show that not only did you help one of our constables personally, but you were also responsible for the apprehension of one Sweet Dreams. If you tried to run off without paying, we'd know who you were and where to look."
[15:49] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The stallion smiles; "But our constable claimed you would not default, and I am glad to see he was right."

Now, you could always pay of the debt, then go find your deserter and retrieve the rifle for yourselves, or sell it back to us as you see fit. If you're in need of more consistent employment, I could work out factory work for you. Wages witheld until the debt is repaid, but accomodations wou
[16:09] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 The stallion continues; "We also have a deal brewing with Sheriff Rottingtail and his groups to bring in some extra armour for our guards in exchange for some weapons for their operation. This one in particular, given that the unsealing of it yielded only one family. As well, if there are any salvageable resources there, our family does have some claim to them. I'm thinking, given the risk, five thousand. Less the remainer of your debt of course."

[16:28] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Rachet turns back to Keen; "Scorchwood, just north of Manehattan proper. I don't know if Twinkle would still be alive at this point, but we do send the occasional dividend to her daughter. One by the name of Glimmer."

Turning away and beginning to make his way out of the tavern, he says over his shoulder, "Thanks." then goes outside, consuming the last of his scotch and going to either place the empty bottle in the trash or on the ground.

04[17:26] * @Wraith` looks to Karina and explains more, "You'd be happy to know that a lot of zebras that lived in Equestria were suspected by her of treasonous activities. Course, nopony really cared if those claims were true or not."

07[17:27] * +Primer walks up to the marehole leading down into Stable 32. "She sounds... charming."

07[17:29] * @Wraith` replies, "Ran the Ministry of Morale. They were made I think to keep everypony in Equestria happy at first... then she started learning freaky shit like I said. Some of the shit the papers reported she knew of was... crazy... so crazy it really makes you wonder how authentic those things she found out about were."

07[18:37] * +Fire_Lily nods. "Yeah... I'm fine."
04[18:37] * +Keen 's attention darts towards Karina. "Sorry. Just... I've been sitting here for the last few hours and... I don't know. Lily and I haven't even said a word because..." Because you'd fuck it up.

04[18:44] <@TenMihara|GM> 3 Keen is easily able to transfer the files from Stable 32, but notices that Karina only had the Overmare's records and journals. The medical records were still only known to him

15[18:50] * +Karina blinks. "Okay..." She moves to follow.

We could also use our existing connections to set up trade for water and bring in some additional revenue. As much as I hate to sound like a money grubber, caps buy resources, which is what we would need more than anything to start rebuilding our world."

07[19:46] * @Wraith` just finds this all somewhat surreal. What are the odds of a long lost stallion finding his descendants over a hundred years later? Giving a small, 'Hmm'. he looks to Fire_Lily and... finds her reading a book... huh... the ghoul thought she'd be a little more... excited to meet other relatives.
15[19:47] * +Karina just shrugs and shakes her head.
07[19:49] * +Fire_Lily would be excited, if she wasn't running away from home and dreading the inevitable comversation with her parents.
07[19:49] * @Wraith` tilts his head. Relatives? Weren't they supposed to be on their way to her parent's place? They've been there for a while, he figured they must've had some time catching up.
