  1. We begin!
  2.
  3. Jee-Still Waki: ( Alright; stick together or go separately? )
  4.
  5. Far above Pao floating in the void lies an asteroid: Castle Vostock!
  6.
  7. Fried Silver: (Together)
  8.
  9. It's treasure unlimited! It's mystery unbound!
  10.
  11. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... I found another entrance. We can all use that instead..."
  12.
  13. You are at the main entrance: You have discovered a strange bird statue atop it and a large crack along another side.
  14.
  15. Fried Silver: "Well was there anything or value up there Miss Jee?"
  16.
  17. Chim: "Hmm I'm not sure I could fit my quills through there..." Chim remarks dubiously.
  18.
  19. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh! Bones! No, no! Do not go there..."
  20.
  21. Fried Silver: "So were doing a direct approach then Miss Jee?"
  22. (we're*)
  23.
  24. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh! No more bones! Any path better than there!"
  25.
  26. Gator (GM): (Let me know your guys' consensus when you want to move.)
  27.
  28. Fried Silver: "So were going thru the front door then Miss Jee?"
  29.
  30. Gator (GM): (Until such point your ship here is your base, with your gear and facilities.)
  31.
  32. Jee-Still Waki: ( Thought we were going through the side crack entrance )
  33.
  34. Fried Silver: (I though the crack was on the roof.)
  35. (Then yeah lets take that root.)
  36.
  37. Jee-Still Waki: ( GM, didn't you say I found that I found it as I was coming back down? )
  38. ( Or was it on the roof? Because I can fly back up and drop some rope or something. )
  39.
  40. Fried Silver: (Yeah, I'll climb up to the roof to reach it with the rope.)
  41.
  42. Gator (GM): (Ah, well, I was thinking it was at the base. But that is a good idea.)
  43. (The crack is atop the structure.)
  44.
  45. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... There is another entrance... But it's where the BONES are... I am not confident in our good being there."
  46.
  47. Chim: "Bones don't scare me!" Chim says with only a slight quaver in his voice.
  48.
  49. Fried Silver: "Jee I would expect that you would be less afraid of bones and what not with your tribal background."
  50.
  51. Gator (GM): (Assist colleges up to the the opening?)
  52.
  53. Jee-Still Waki gives a snarl at the robot through the comms. "Bones decorate powerful warriors; those who earned the bones to wear. Also decorate powerful tribes, but those bones often only belong to more powerful warriors..."
  54.
  55. Jee-Still Waki: ( Yeah. )
  56. Regardless, Jee flies to the top of the castle and ties the rope to the eagle statue, then lowers the rope down for the others to use to climb up.
  57.
  58. Gator (GM): (Ah, really tempted to make this a Rappeling skill roll.)
  59.
  60. Fried Silver grabs the rope and tries to pull himself up to the roof
  61.
  62. Fried Silver: is climbing str or agl?
  63.
  64. Gator (GM): (Yeah, let's be findks)
  65. (Str)
  66.
  67. Jee-Still Waki continues. "And caves with bones are where deadly creatures live... Or traps. Even filthy tribals can see they are bad omens, beautiful tool."
  68.
  69. Gator (GM): Roll 1d100+str bonus
  70. beat 60\
  71.
  72. Fried Silver: (Do i still have the +20 per str since im a robot?)
  73.
  74. Gator (GM): (Yeah.)
  75.
  76. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 60
  77. (8)+60= 68
  78.
  79. Gator (GM): You make the ascent and perch upon the stone hands
  80.
  81. Chim: "Hey that doesn't look so hard!"
  82. rolling 1d100+10
  83. (72)+10= 82
  84.
  85. You stand before the crack.
  86.
  87. it's too dark to see inside it from here and narrow enough that you have to sidle through.
  88.
  89. Jee-Still Waki: ( Is there air in this environment? Can I echolocate down the crack? )
  90.
  91. proceed? Dare you proceed?!
  92.
  93. Jee-Still Waki: ( I asked before, but you allowed that roll at the castle entrance, so I'm not sure. )
  94.
  95. Gator (GM): (You have no idea and yes.)
  96.
  97. Jee-Still Waki: ( Well I'm not risking that. )
  98. "Hhhh... I can go first. Porcupine will only get stuck if it is too small."
  99.
  100. Chim bristles.
  101.
  102. Gator (GM): (Sorry, without my glasses lines kind of mix together.
  103.
  104. Fried Silver examines at the crack so see how strong the materiel is
  105.
  106. Jee-Still Waki: ( Should I roll contortion? )
  107.
  108. Gator (GM): Echolocating down the entrance gets you a signal back
  109.
  110. Jee-Still Waki: ( Through the helmet? )
  111.
  112. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 40
  113. (80)+40= 120
  114.
  115. Gator (GM): Yes.
  116. It sound image is very fuzzy.
  117. Taking intiative, Fried squeezes through
  118.
  119. Jee-Still Waki: ( Huh. Rolling for echolocation then. Keeping the helmet on; I really don't want to die. )
  120.
  121. Gator (GM): This, is a contortion test.
  122.
  123. Jee-Still Waki: ( Never mind. )
  124.
  125. Gator (GM): Sure
  126. Well, you can tell right now that there is a robot shaped object in the crack.
  127.
  128. Jee-Still Waki: ( If he's going on ahead, might as well save the roll. )
  129.
  130. Gator (GM): kk
  131. Contortion.
  132. 100+agi bonus
  133.
  134. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+30
  135. (37)+30= 67
  136.
  137. Gator (GM): Yeah, let's have 60
  138. Chim, roll 100+agi bonus!
  139.
  140. Jee-Still Waki follows after the robot, slowly worming her way through the crack.
  141.
  142. Gator (GM): beat 60 to squeeze
  143.
  144. Chim does his best to smooth back his quills
  145.
  146. Chim: rolling 1d100+20
  147. (77)+20= 97
  148. "Whew. I wasn't worried. Mind over matter, right?" Chim chuckles awkwardly.
  149.
  150. Jee-Still Waki: ( We Digimon now. )
  151.
  152. Fried Silver: "Chim I'm sure that situation was matter, not mind"
  153.
  154. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+30+50
  155. (27)+30+50= 107
  156.
  157. Gator (GM): The room is comprised of tranlucent materials that beam with light.
  158.
  159. Chim: "It's just an expression," Chim grumbles.
  160.
  161. Gator (GM): You echolocate!
  162.
  163. Fried Silver: "Well now this reminds me of the Holo rooms back on Logos."
  164.
  165. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... There are four guards ahead."
  166.
  167. Gator (GM): There you find serveral humanoids just under the flooring, tinkering away in tiny crawlspaces.
  168.
  169. Jee-Still Waki: "Shaped like Great Ones... Hhh? Under the floor?"
  170.
  171. Gator (GM): Besides that the sound map is clearer.
  172. You think there is that delicious air in this room!
  173.
  174. Fried Silver: "Jee those abominations over there are far away from "The Great Ones."
  175.
  176. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... Should we worry about them?"
  177. "And I think we can... breathe here. I am not certain."
  178.
  179. Chim looks at the floor nervously.
  180.
  181. Gator (GM): On the farside of the room you see another crack in the rocks.
  182.
  183. Fried Silver: "Yes Jee, and if things go Violent, make sure to double tap on those living machines."
  184.
  185. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Another crack in the wall, on the other side of the room."
  186. "Understo- Living machines? They are robots too?"
  187.
  188. Fried Silver Looks down to see what the Servitor is doing.
  189.
  190. Gator (GM): Which one, this is important!
  191.
  192. Jee-Still Waki 's large grin is concealed by her helmet. "If we kill one... I want to see what it looks like inside."
  193.
  194. Fried Silver: (the 2 that are together)
  195.
  196. Jee-Still Waki: ( Can I take a look around with normal perception? Maybe there's something here besides the cracks. )
  197.
  198. Chim ponders, "Yeah, that would be interesting."
  199.
  200. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+50-30
  201. (59)+50-30= 79
  202. ( Gotta make sure. )
  203.
  204. Gator (GM): You look around.
  205. It looks like this room is a giant machine.
  206. You find alot of things but all are attached to the floor...
  207.
  208. Fried Silver: "Jee, lets just leave it as that they're not people."
  209. (perseption roll?)
  210.
  211. Gator (GM): Except for one thing, a disc with a mechanism sticking from the top.
  212.
  213. Jee-Still Waki: ( Oooh, I wanna look at that. )
  214. "Yes, yes... Not people, tools..." Jee says, distracted by the golden disc.
  215.
  216. Gator (GM): (It looks like a sun dial? Clock? )
  217.
  218. Jee-Still Waki: ( Roll electronics to determine what it is? )
  219.
  220. Gator (GM): (Sorry, slow typist
  221.
  222. Chim: "If they're tools," Chim muses, "perhaps we can figure out how to use them ourselves..."
  223.
  224. The two cybernoids pull themselves out of their crawlspaces.
  225.
  226. Cy1: This is...
  227.
  228. Cy2: ...Unusual
  229.
  230. Cy1: You should not be here...
  231.
  232. Cy2: Synthetic.
  233.
  234. Jee-Still Waki: "Beautiful tool? Are things OK?"
  235.
  236. Fried Silver: (wait they wern't under the holo brige magig we're on?)
  237.
  238. Gator (GM): They crawled up through the three holes here.
  239.
  240. Jee-Still Waki: ( Before we get into combat then; can I investigate the golden disc? Maybe it can help if we get into combat. )
  241.
  242. Gator (GM): (Sure!)
  243.
  244. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+30+50
  245. (2)+30+50= 82
  246. ( Electronics roll. )
  247.
  248. Chim looks around to see if there might be some way of controlling these things.
  249.
  250. Gator (GM): (It appears to be some sort of orbit clock, you think. Things like these are used to measure planetary patterns but you don't know what it is tracking.)
  251.
  252. Jee-Still Waki: ( Probably the bird statue. Enough about that, gotta assist Fried. )
  253.
  254. Fried Silver: (initiation roll?)
  255.
  256. Gator (GM): (Chim, do you have any skills that would come in handy in this situation?)
  257.
  258. Fried Silver: (brb)
  259.
  260. Chim: Electronics? Engineering? Science? :)
  261.
  262. Gator (GM): (Yeah, kinda not applicable. They don't really work like that.)
  263. (I just wanted to know if your character was a scientist or not.)
  264.
  265. Fried Silver: (back
  266.
  267. Gator (GM): Okay, you want to start some so there is gonna be some.
  268. rolly intioly
  269.
  270. Chim: (Yeah, focused on mental abilities)
  271.
  272. Fried Silver: (try to disable the robot, might haveinfo.)
  273.
  274. Chim: (What is the initiative roll again?)
  275.
  276. Gator (GM): (1d100+mind bonus

  282. Jee-Still Waki: ( And +10 for every level past 1. )
  283.
  284. Fried Silver: mind+d100+10*level
  285.
  286. Gator (GM): Yeah that's the better way to put it.

  295.
  296. Gator (GM): Fried~!
  297.
  298. Jee-Still Waki is excited to see what the robots can do, easily overcoming her fear of fighting the machines.
  299.
  300. Gator (GM): https://youtu.be/FKXR-gO3vU8
  301.
  302. Fried Silver burst fires both pistols at the upper servitors head.
  303.
  304. Gator (GM): Okay, remember we are going off new rules.
  305. Half bonus, double damage.
  306. He will of course try to parry since you are right in melee range.
  307. rolling 1d100+20
  308. (83)+20= 103
  309.
  310. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 30
  311. (94)+30= 124
  312. rolling 1d100 + 30
  313. (19)+30= 49
  314.
  315. Gator (GM): Well one shot got parried
  316.
  317. Jee-Still Waki: ( Really? If I got a .45 M2, does the 4d10+40 double then? )
  318.
  319. Gator (GM): I mean the akimbo rules
  320.
  321. Fried Silver: rolling 4d10 + 15
  322. (8+8+5+4)+15= 40
  323.
  324. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah, gotcha. )
  325.
  326. Gator (GM): You shoot him square in the skull.
  327. Tougher than normal, he is only horrible damaged!
  328.

  334.
  335. Fried Silver runs back to get room
  336.
  337. Fried Silver: end turn
  338.
  339. Gator (GM): Chim chim chimero!
  340.
  341. Chim: (Yay! Okay. I'll fire my dart revolver)
  342. (Now remind me how to calculate the shot)
  343.
  344. Gator (GM): 1d100+weapon skill.
  345. Beat 40
  346. for a center shot.
  347. 60 for a specific shot.
  348.
  349. Chim: Agility too?
  350.
  351. Gator (GM): Well, that is another point... Is that a pistol or an actual blow gun?
  352.
  353. Chim: (I chose the dart revolver I found somewhere in the doc)
  354.
  355. Gator (GM): Yeah, just weapon skill.
  356.
  357. Chim: rolling 1d100+10
  358. (89)+10= 99
  359.
  360. Gator (GM): (That actually came up alot. Most systems agree that agility doesn't factor with a modern arms shot while it does for primative weapons. I think it's a belief that rifling can send the shot... yeah.)
  361. You hit!
  362.
  363. Chim: (I wrote down 3d10+10 for it. Does that sound correct?)
  364.
  365. Gator (GM): What was your target?
  366.
  367. Chim: (Oh, whichever was closest to me.)
  368.
  369. Gator (GM): (That is correct. I wonder if that was a typo.
  370. Anyway!
  371.
  372. Chim: rolling 3d10+10
  373. (8+7+7)+10= 32
  374.
  375. Krplung!
  376.
  377. Jee-Still Waki: ( This isn't very stealthy of us. )
  378.
  379. you fire the dart right into the cyberman's bare chest.
  380.
  381. Gator (GM): (Nonsense. The pistol only made a twip sound before hitting
  382. Sedagive right?
  383.
  384. Chim: (I used a regular dart, assuming that sedative wouldn't have as much effect on these "people")
  385.
  386. Gator (GM): (Roll 1d10. If it's higher than 6 he's out.
  387.
  388. Chim: rolling 1d10
  389. (9)= 9
  390.
  391. Gator (GM): Roll again
  392.
  393. Chim: rolling 1d10
  394. (8)= 8
  395.
  396. Gator (GM): Bottom one, right?
  397.
  398. Chim: (Is he closest? I can't tell)
  399.
  400. Gator (GM): (Flamehead then
  401. You hit the servitor right in the chest.
  402. The drug takes effect immediately and he is unconscious!
  403. Last action?
  404.
  405. Chim: (Is it just movement? I'm good where I am.)
  406.
  407. Gator (GM): Well, you can reload too.
  408. Or anything else you want, really.
  409.
  410. Chim: (If it's a revolver I should have a number of shots before that :) )
  411.
  412. Gator (GM): Still, waki still!
  413. (That is a point I should clarify, huh?)
  414.
  415. Chim: (I'll conserve my energy for next round haha)
  416.
  417. Gator (GM): (Well, I suppose it's a six chamber.)
  418.
  419. Chim: (Fair nuff)
  420.
  421. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'm here. )
  422.
  423. Fried Silver: (wait would a stack pistol follow the standard pistol rapid firing?)
  424.
  425. Gator (GM): (Negotiations have broken down with the robot men!
  426.
  427. Jee-Still Waki: ( Which one is the unconscious robot? )
  428.
  429. Gator (GM): The one that is also on fire.
  430.
  431. Jee-Still Waki: ( Gotcha. Are those two the only ones in combat? What do the blue dots mean? )
  432.
  433. Gator (GM): That they are under the floor. Sorry i didn't make that clear.
  434.
  435. Jee-Still Waki: ( Gotcha. Do I have a clear shot at the remaining robot then? )
  436.
  437. Gator (GM): Sure
  438.
  439. Jee-Still Waki: ( Rolling to shoot; Fried already fired his guns, so firing more wont be a problem. )
  440. rolling 1d100
  441. (41)= 41
  442.
  443. Gator (GM): That's a hit.
  444.
  445. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 4d10+40
  446. (5+4+4+9)+40= 62
  447.
  448. Gator (GM): Even without any bonus
  449. What are you shooting?!
  450.
  451. Jee-Still Waki: ( Sorry, thought I made it clear, the robot that's still up. )
  452. ( Or do you mean something else? )
  453.
  454. Gator (GM): No, you got that one.
  455. Kind of over his shoulder shots but whatever.
  456. Unless you wanted to hit the one that is on fire and downed.
  457.
  458. Jee-Still Waki: ( No, no reason for that. He's not a threat for the moment. )
  459. ( I wanted to get the one that's still a threat. )
  460.
  461. Gator (GM): I thought that. Next act?
  462.
  463. Jee-Still Waki: ( Shoot him again )
  464. rolling 1d100
  465. (7)= 7
  466. ( Hit jack shit. end turn. )
  467.
  468. Gator (GM): Servitor turn!
  469. The servitor shouts something to the others.
  470. He then moves to the downed servitor and drags him down the hole!
  471.
  472. Chim: "Grr!"
  473.
  474. Gator (GM): The two servers down below run into another room.
  475. Combat over.
  476. You have a creeping suspicsion that they will be back very soon!
  477.
  478. Fried Silver: "Jee put your helmet back on."
  479.
  480. Jee-Still Waki: ( My helmet is on. )
  481.
  482. Chim: "I have a bad feeling about this."
  483.
  484. Fried Silver: (oh, i though you took if off since there was oxygen)
  485.
  486. Jee-Still Waki: ( Didn't want to risk it; but if our guns fired, there must be air. )
  487.
  488. Fried Silver: (also, gm my stack guns count as pistols, does that mean i use the pistol rules to rapid fire it?)
  489.
  490. Jee-Still Waki: ( Feel free to lead us though Fried. We leaving out to space or through the next crack? Or should we ensure no one tells of our position? )
  491.
  492. Gator (GM): (Your inquistive mind has figured since the servitors didn't have helmets but still bled, then they probably can breath here as well.
  493. (Yeah fried.)
  494.
  495. Jee-Still Waki: ( Well; robots and all. Never know for sure. )
  496.
  497. Fried Silver: (was telling so incase they disable the air to kill us.)
  498.
  499. Gator (GM): (Well, yeah.)
  500. (Well, them, your character don't breath)
  501.
  502. Fried Silver: (so does that mean i still follow the rapid fire ammo usage to? is in id need to fire 25 bullets while normal pistols need to fire 3-4.)
  503.
  504. Gator (GM): (You have a brief respite from action. you are in a room with wonderous incomprehensible technology, would you like to do?)
  505.
  506. Fried Silver: (Sorry I mean for jee and Chim.)
  507.
  508. Gator (GM): (Probably should fix that, huh?)
  509. (Technically speaking.)
  510.
  511. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... I want to take notes before we leave." Jee says, retrieving her journal to sketch.
  512. rolling 1d100+50+30
  513. (63)+50+30= 143
  514. ( Using electronics to study the room )
  515.
  516. Chim: (Chim wants to look around too. It's probably the most technological setting he has been in, and he's a keen learner)
  517.
  518. Gator (GM): You jot down as much as you can with as much time you can.)
  519. (You have no idea what this stuff does but you are willing to invest the time to figure it out.)
  520.
  521. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... I will study pictures later..."
  522.
  523. Gator (GM): (Your working theory is it using light as data signals)
  524. (Take compass?)
  525.
  526. Fried Silver: "Miss Jee how about we head down and retrive the device instead of doodling it?"
  527.
  528. Jee-Still Waki: ( Can I? Then hell yeah. )
  529. "Hhhh... I am OK with this."
  530.
  531. Chim tries to decipher how the information might be encoded.
  532.
  533. Gator (GM): Device pinched
  534.
  535. Fried Silver: (Hold on I'm getting bad depth perspective in this room)
  536.
  537. Jee-Still Waki: ( Add it to the lootbag )
  538. ( Actually, we should keep track of that. Like a table listing all the stuff we took. Silver ware, painting, tech, other stuff like that. )
  539.
  540. Chim: (I've got a handheld computer. Perhaps I can use it to record some of the signals and analyze them).
  541.
  542. Gator (GM): (We do have the handout for the ship inventory
  543.
  544. Jee-Still Waki: ( Oh yeah, doesn't a skill of electronics 3 give one for free? )
  545. ( Because I got one then. )
  546.
  547. Gator (GM): (Yeah it does.)
  548.
  549. Jee-Still Waki: ( Guess I can say I just took it from the ship or something .)
  550.
  551. Fried Silver: "Miss Jee should we head onwards where those machines went or try to get to the gold room from here?"
  552.
  553. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... You know I want to see the machines. But we have a job."
  554.
  555. Gator (GM): (Proceed to next room, leave castle, or hold up here?)
  556.
  557. Jee-Still Waki: ( Yeah, only one way to go anyway. )
  558. ( I'll keep track of the items we take on the manifest. )
  559.
  560. Chim: (Did I get a chance to analyze the light signals?)
  561.
  562. Gator (GM): (Oh, I'm sorry, sure. Roll science or electronics\
  563.
  564. Jee-Still Waki takes off her helmet and echolocates the room.
  565.
  566. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'll wait for when he's done )
  567.
  568. Chim: rolling 1d100+45+20
  569. (80)+45+20= 145
  570. Science!
  571.
  572. Gator (GM): Yep, it's a giant circuitboard. Photons instead of electrons, unfortunately you can't figure out what it does from here but you assume it's to function with something.
  573.
  574. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+50+30
  575. (39)+50+30= 119
  576.
  577. Gator (GM): You locate, echo flavor
  578.
  579. Chim: "Hey guys, it's like we're inside a computer! This is pretty cool. I wonder where the keyboard is?"
  580.
  581. Gator (GM): You see that this is a turnstyle door, likely put in afterward.
  582. Beyond that you find a giant rock, likely this is what has made the crack, even though it's larger than the holes.
  583.
  584. Fried Silver: "I'm surprised you didn't say "where the mouse is."
  585.
  586. Gator (GM): It appears the asteroid hit afew people on the way in, they have decomposed into their basic parts.
  587. You also notice a grate opened on your left.
  588.
  589. Chim: "I knew a mouse once. Lovely lass."
  590.
  591. Jee-Still Waki is confused on the presence of a giant rock in the castle. She barely remembers off-world patients she treated talking about "asteroids", and essentially being giant rocks floating in space, but she was still unsure on how they functioned.
  592.
  593. Fried Silver: "Miss Jee and Mister Chim, may I get the door?"
  594.
  595. Chim: "After you,"
  596.
  597. Fried Silver picks up the grate and places it it the revolving door and spins it around.
  598.
  599. Fried Silver: "But first a test."
  600.
  601. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... More dead bodies ahead... Why have they not been removed, though?"
  602. "Hhhh... Whoever owns this castle... I do not like this."
  603.
  604. Fried Silver: "Jee make sure to hear out for any sudden clicks."
  605.
  606. Gator (GM): (Oh, right. I was wondering about that.)
  607.
  608. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... OK."
  609. rolling 1d100+30+50
  610. (7)+30+50= 87
  611.
  612. Gator (GM): (What you'd use the grate for, I mean.)
  613.
  614. Jee-Still Waki: ( Hearing perception )
  615.
  616. Fried Silver: (weight, to test if there any pressure pads in the revolving door.)
  617.
  618. Gator (GM): You spin the door, a rush of warm air comes out as you do so. besides that no real effect.
  619. You think that it's probably a make shift air seal.
  620.
  621. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... Hhhh... I hear nothing."
  622.
  623. Gator (GM): Your hearing actually does reveal something:
  624.
  625. Jee-Still Waki: "Wait!"
  626.
  627. Gator (GM): Stomps of footsteps down in the next room.
  628. Likely the servitors are regrouping to intercept you.
  629.
  630. Jee-Still Waki: "The tools... They are in the other room."
  631. "They might be coming for us."
  632.
  633. Gator (GM): (Tools now taking a double meaning.
  634.
  635. Chim: "They weren't too much for us last time! We can take them!" Chem hesitates. "Do we have to?"
  636. "Because, you know, if there were another option..."
  637.
  638. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... There is the hole there... Or we can hide."
  639. "Hhh... They're here. Decide now."
  640.
  641. Gator (GM): Three servitors enter the room.
  642. Jee@
  643. You notice the one that is badly burned from earlier!
  644.
  645. Chim: "Uh, hi guys! We were just... oh crap."
  646.
  647. Gator (GM): He is taking strips of metal off one of the bodies and wrapping it around his face!
  648. Further, they have some sort of rifles with them!
  649.
  650. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh! They have weapon tools!"
  651. ( Rush for the grate hole? )
  652.
  653. Fried Silver: "Jee and Chim, It's best to hide know, these tools can repurpose them selves."
  654. *now
  655.
  656. Jee-Still Waki goes towards the grate and without hesitation, enters.
  657.
  658. Jee-Still Waki: (*grate hole )
  659.
  660. Chim: "I don't like the sound of that. I'm thinking finding that keyboard would be a good idea now."
  661.
  662. Chim goes for the grate too!
  663.
  664. Fried Silver Follows after Chim and Jee.
  665.
  666. Gator (GM): You are in the grates!
  667. Or rather the vents running through the structure.
  668.
  669. Jee-Still Waki: ( Heya Box )
  670.
  671. Fried Silver: (eyy ram)
  672.
  673. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... I don't want to wander blindly."
  674. ( Rolling echolocation )
  675.
  676. Box-O-Rocks: ((finally back from car buying... I'm going through the logs, so I wouldn't count myself in just yet. ))

  681. Chim tries to guess which direction a control center might be based on the flow of data.
  682.
  683. Gator (GM): (Boxo!)
  684.
  685. Jee-Still Waki: ( Gotcha. You want a rundown on what's going on? I can help catch you up. )
  686.
  687. Ping!
  688.
  689. you echo echo
  690.
  691. Box-O-Rocks: (( I suppose. I'd like to know what RAM has been doing exactly that got us here. ))
  692.
  693. Fried Silver: (( we were gonna get fuel for ship, we aint got the money so we're working for it.)
  694.
  695. Gator (GM): You detect that it is very narrow in here, you are all crouch level. Further, two possible entrances up ahead while you detect an unknown life form up and to the left.
  696. It is too far away to get a shape of it.
  697.
  698. Fried Silver: "Jee, forgive me if i have to fire at something in here."
  699.
  700. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... There is something... alive. Forward and left."
  701. "We should go elsewhere. To the right?"
  702.
  703. Fried Silver: (So he's just really sitting in his ship."
  704.
  705. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh? I see no problem with this..."
  706. ( So, which way. Towards the living being or to the right? )
  707.
  708. Gator (GM): (That is terrilbly in character.)
  709. (I should note, going back will take you back to the crappy RAM clip art room.)
  710.
  711. Fried Silver peeks his head to get a view on the figure.
  712.
  713. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 40
  714. (17)+40= 57
  715.
  716. Gator (GM): Despite your attempts you do not see it proper.
  717. It appears to be crammed in the vent at the least. There is no way to see around it.
  718. Will you use... Manual zoom?
  719. (ie, get closer?
  720.
  721. Fried Silver: "Guys get near me in case things go wrong."
  722.
  723. Chim: "Uh, oh. What are you planning?"
  724.
  725. Fried Silver: "To see what the figure is."
  726.
  727. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhhh... We are to steal. I see no purpose in bothering with people."
  728.
  729. Fried Silver: "Well shall we head south then?"
  730.
  731. Chim: "Well if it's one 'o them, it's not worth the effort. But if it isn't..."
  732.
  733. Gator (GM): To the other south is a grate!
  734.
  735. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... A door is in the way."
  736. ( BUT WAIT )
  737. ( Can I use my mini-computer to HACK the door? )
  738.
  739. Gator (GM): (Sure, why not?
  740. it will, be difficult
  741. 100 or better as this is very big technology
  742.
  743. Jee-Still Waki: ( Woah )
  744. ( Mind bonus and electronics? )
  745.
  746. Fried Silver: (can I assist with the roll?)
  747.
  748. Chim: (The porcupine is good at this stuff too)
  749.
  750. Gator (GM): Sure.
  751.
  752. Jee-Still Waki retrieves a mini-computer she... bought... from the space station. She read she can do things like "magically" open doors and break computers with it, but she had to see for herself.
  753.
  754. Jee-Still Waki: ( So mind and electronics? )
  755.
  756. Gator (GM): Add all your skill bonuses to Jee's roll
  757. (I have forgotten my own system, sorry, I did not sleep. Let's just wing it.)
  758.
  759. Chim: (I have one level in electronics...)
  760.
  761. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+50+30

  763.
  764. Gator (GM): So that +10
  765.
  766. Jee-Still Waki finds a port connected to the door. Fumbling with the wires, she hooks it up and a little screen appears. The wonders of technology never cease to amaze her.
  767.
  768. Gator (GM): , you have to severe your data wire and manually connect the plugs to what you think are the input prongs but somehow the sparks translate enough into the light data format.
  769. The door opens.
  770.
  771. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah sorry, I'm just throwing in my own interpretation on this. Apologies. )
  772.
  773. You are surprised to hear a voice coming down the hall!
  774.
  775. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh! Quiet!" Jee hisses in the comms.
  776.
  777. Gator (GM): (That is a better interpretation than mine. Mine was more cyberpunk than scifi)
  778. Chim!
  779. You made a secret precept roll.
  780.
  781. Chim: (Okay)
  782.
  783. Fried Silver Head of thru the door and aim his pistols down the hall.
  784.
  785. Gator (GM): You hear the sluffing and clangs down the vent, something stirs!
  786.
  787. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'm just glad I don't have the hacking system implanted in my brain, and the door can hack me back. )
  788. ( AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT )
  789.
  790. Gator (GM): From around the corner you see the bizzare visage of a man!
  791.
  792. Chim taps the next person in line and gestures back down the vent.
  793.
  794. Gator (GM): wrinkled and gnarled the bloated face is slowly making its way to your location!
  795.
  796. Box-O-Rocks: (( I'm reasonably caught up now. ))
  797.
  798. Jee-Still Waki looks to where Chim is pointing. Without hesitation, she begins to scream and runs to the open door. "Get out! Get out! GET OUT!"
  799.
  800. Jee-Still Waki: ( I can try to close the door! )
  801.
  802. Box-O-Rocks shakes himself out of his cockpit, this trip is just a croc of shit, and he's stuck dealing with it
  803.
  804. Gator (GM): (You probably can!)
  805. Box!
  806.
  807. Ramiel: It occurs to Ramiel that he probably should have used his LGI contract to refuel if possible.
  808.
  809. Gator (GM): You have been stretching your heels this whole time at the console when the particularly high pitched screams of Waki and everyone else fills the channel!
  810.
  811. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh! HHHHH!" Jee hisses loudly, attempting to re-hack the door to block the monster out!"
  812.
  813. Chim jumps through the door and assists in closing it behind them.
  814.
  815. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+50+30

  817.
  818. Ramiel: "Goddamnit. Your peaking the audio! What's going on?"
  819.
  820. Jee-Still Waki: "Demon! DEMON!" Jee-Still screeches back into the microphone.
  821.
  822. Fried Silver: "RAM THERES AN ABOMINATION WORSE THAT SERVITORS IT THE VENTS!"
  823.
  824. Ramiel groans "Silver, do you eyes on this demon, coordinates? Get me info so I can line up a shot from the lasers."
  825.
  826. Gator (GM): You hack the door and close it much easier than it took to open!
  827.
  828. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhhh! Hhhh! Hhhhh... Hhh..." Jee hisses, her heart rate slowly returning to normal
  829.
  830. Fried Silver: "WE LOCKED OURSELF IN TO THAT WE WOULDN'T BE ON THE REVIVING END ON A HORROR SLASHER!"
  831.
  832. Ramiel: "Give me info You overdeveloped trash can... I can't help if I don't know where you are. what direction is it from your position?"
  833.
  834. Fried Silver: "Just blast around on the northern end so the abomination might just run in that direction!"
  835.
  836. Gator (GM): From the otherside of the door you feel something heavy and soft flop against it!
  837.
  838. Ramiel: "Alright, make sure you have your suits sealed."
  839.
  840. Gator (GM): (Proceed with blasting the north end?
  841.
  842. Ramiel: (( GM, can I try and estimate a more accurate position? ))
  843.
  844. Axl Greez puts her helmet back on.
  845.
  846. Fried Silver: "JEE IM SORRY!"
  847.
  848. Fried Silver aims up and fires his gun on full blast to try to make an opening.

  854.
  855. Jee-Still Waki: ( How's the door? Any sign of it breaking through?)
  856.
  857. Gator (GM): Not even alittle. It hold fast.
  858.
  859. Ramiel: "Alright, how about this, I'll aim above your position, and you tell me as soon as the creature moves there.... that work?"
  860.
  861. Gator (GM): Actually Ramiel you cannot! This facility is covered in feet of solid rock, metal, and the crew themselves are running on top of electronics.
  862.
  863. Ramiel: (( How does my latest suggestion work? ))
  864.
  865. Gator (GM): Sorry, distracted.
  866.
  867. Gaven C. uses the high cutter saw on the ceiling to try to cut open a hole.
  868.
  869. Gator (GM): That's better.
  870. I was about to say that you need more damage.
  871.
  872. Fried Silver: rolling 3d10 + 60
  873. (6+1+7)+60= 74
  874.
  875. Gator (GM): (Okay, so ramiel, you are firing on the structure in a rough estimate where they should be?
  876.
  877. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... The demon is blocked... For now."
  878. ( Does the door lead anywhere?
  879.
  880. Ramiel: (( I would be able to tell exactly where my suits are being moved right? ))
  881.
  882. Gator (GM): It leads to a room!
  883. With a grate
  884.
  885. Ramiel: (( track them? ))
  886.
  887. Jee-Still Waki: ( Hey Fried; we can take the grate here. )
  888.
  889. Ramiel: ((... So I aim north of that, according to the map. ))
  890.
  891. Fried Silver: (Wait, the grate wasnt there earlyer?)
  892.
  893. Jee-Still Waki: ( Blame me for not asking what's in the room )
  894.
  895. Gator (GM): (It's actually that blue black thing under waki's tile, it got buried in the aesthetic.
  896. So ram ram!
  897. You fire your lasers north of the position.
  898.
  899. Ramiel: (( Well, I wanted to wait for the creature to move back against the door for a more precise shot. ))
  900.
  901. Gator (GM): The crew hear the thing shuffle away from the door.
  902.
  903. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... The demon left..."
  904.
  905. Gator (GM): Oh no, these guys are under feet of rock and structure.
  906. Oh right.
  907.
  908. Jee-Still Waki: ( So, take the cutter passage or the grate? )
  909.
  910. Fried Silver climb up without hesitation.
  911.
  912. Gator (GM): (here is the outside view you have.
  913.
  914. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah. )
  915.
  916. Gator (GM): It's a big thing.
  917.
  918. Ramiel: alright
  919. (( Is it that pointy or was that where light was hitting it? ))
  920.
  921. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'm going with the grate. Fried? )
  922.
  923. Gator (GM): (Pointy)

  927. Fried Silver: "Oh jeeze Fried you're getting bought by a celeberty Fried, All you have to do is hang around in a mansion and cook fried."
  928.
  929. Jee-Still Waki: ( We decided on where to go? )
  930.
  931. Chim: (Well Chim doesn't want to split up, so whoever moved first, he'll follow.)
  932.
  933. Fried Silver: "TOTALLY not getting bought by a Celeberty Freakshow with an insane libdo and getting dragged to what your old crew did Fried, TOTALLY not gonna get into a vent that has an ungodly monster Fried."
  934.
  935. Gator (GM): Back
  936.
  937. Ramiel sits back at the helm, "Make sure to give me updates as you go.
  938.
  939. Gator (GM): (ekeke)
  940.
  941. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... Ok."
  942.
  943. Gator (GM): Ramiel!
  944.
  945. Jee-Still Waki: ( Voting vent passage )

  949. rolling 1d100+20
  950. (5)+20= 25
  951. If you want.
  952. That's not really a great roll.
  953.
  954. Ramiel: I have +30 to dodge
  955. Di I even need to roll?
  956.
  957. Gator (GM): You literally just lean back in your seat and that alters your course enough to dodge the plasma bolt.
  958.
  959. Ramiel: Can I return fire?
  960.
  961. Gator (GM): If you want, but you have friends in that building.
  962. 'friends' at the least
  963.
  964. Ramiel: (( well the gun would have to be exposed to shoot at me. ))
  965.
  966. Gator (GM): You get the suspcision that if you don't fire at it then it won't fire back.
  967. But let's focus on the vent crew.
  968. Hole or grate? which way to do you guys want to go?
  969.
  970. Fried Silver: (hole, i mean i dont want it to be a waste.)
  971.
  972. Jee-Still Waki: ( Grate )
  973.
  974. Ramiel groans once more, "Their defenses are getting antsy."
  975.
  976. Jee-Still Waki: ( We can use that as a retreating point; but we'll lose progress if we go up than further down )
  977.
  978. Gator (GM): You exit the grate.
  979.
  980. Jee-Still Waki: ( Echolocate the room? )
  981.
  982. Gator (GM): You find yourselves tucked into the corner or a room decorated in gold and statutes
  983.
  984. Jee-Still Waki: ( Never know if something's hidden )
  985. ( Oh shit, this is a throne room )
  986.

  1000. Oh right.
  1001. You listen in.
  1002.
  1003. Jee-Still Waki: ( Steal the throne )
  1004.
1005. Gator (GM): The man on the throne is asking what is happening while the servitor is saying that everything is fine.
  1006.
1007. Chim: "That must be the keyboard," Chim mouths ironically.
  1008.
1009. Jee-Still Waki: ( Sneak it through the vents back to the ship; foolproof)
  1010.
1011. Gator (GM): He is insistant on that fact.
  1012.
  1013. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh..
  1014.
1015. Jee-Still Waki whispers to the others. "The tools may know we're here... But they tell the man nothing is happening."
  1016.
1017. Gator (GM): Just then, three servs' enter the room!
1018. They say they are here to search for some intruders!
  1019.
  1020. Chim wilts.
  1021.
1022. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... They search for us."

1085. Jee-Still Waki: "We are not found..." Jee whispers.
  1086.
1087. Gator (GM): The servy politely acknowledges this and assures him he will not be free. The man is angered by the passive tone of the droid man
1088. The search squad has cleared the area, they pull the other servitors into their squad to assit in the search
  1089.
