  1. Class Template: Wild Warrior
  2.
  3. The Wild Warrior is a martial combatant with a close tie to nature; as close as many druids, they tap into the primal energies of creation to take the form of beasts and monsters in order to defend nature--or not, as their own natures call to them.
  4.
  5. Converting your character to a Wild Warrior
  6. The Wild Warrior is a class template suitable for use with the Barbarian, Fighter, and Ranger classes. When conventing a character to a Wild Warrior, the character loses or changes the following class features:
  7.
  8. Barbarian
  9. *The Barbarian gives up the Uncanny Dodge, Damage Reduction, Great Rage, and Mighty Rage class features.
  10.
  11. Fighter
  12. *The Fighter gives up the Armor Training, Bravery, and Armor Mastery class features.
  13.
  14. Ranger
  15. *The Ranger gives up the Evasion, Camouflague, and Hide in Plain Sight class features.
  16. *The Ranger can only select Natural Weapons, Deceptive, Menacing, and Underhanded for it's Combat Style class feature. This Class Template is still compatible with archetypes that modify the Combat Style class feature, as long as they do not limit or remove the availiable options from the Ranger's Combat Style list.
  17.
  18. Skills:
  19. The Wild Warrior gains Survival as a class skill if they do not already have it. This Class Template is still compatible with archetypes that add class skills or skills ranks.
  20.
  21. Shape of the Wild Warrior (Su):
  22. At 4th level, a Wild Warrior gains the ability to turn herself into any small or Medium animal and back again once per day. Her options for new forms include all creatures with the animal type. This ability functions like the beast shape I spell, except as noted here. The effect lasts for 1 hour per Wild Warrior level, or until she changes back. Changing form (to animal or back) is a standard action and doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity. The form chosen must be that of an animal the Wild Warrior is familiar with. For the purpose of qualifying for feats and prestige classes, Shape of the Wild Warrior is considered to be Wild Shape.
  23.
  24. A Wild Warrior loses her ability to speak while in animal form because she is limited to the sounds that a normal, untrained animal can make, but she can communicate normally with other animals of the same general grouping as her new form. (The normal sound a wild parrot makes is a squawk, so changing to this form does not permit speech.)
  25.
  26. A Wild Warrior can use this ability an additional time per day at 6th level and every two levels thereafter, for a total of eight times at 18th level. At 20th level, a Wild Warrior can use Shape of the Wild Warrior at will. As a Wild Warrior gains in levels, this ability allows the Wild Warrior to take on the form of larger and smaller animals, elementals, and dragons. Each form expends one daily usage of this ability, regardless of the form taken. Any save DCs for special abilities granted by these forms are 10 + 1/2 your Wild Warrior class level + your wisdom modifier.
  27.
  28. At 6th level, a Wild Warrior can use Shape of the Wild Warrior to change into a Large or Tiny animal or a Small elemental. When taking the form of an animal, a Wild Warrior's Shape of the Wild Warrior now functions as beast shape II. When taking the form of an elemental, the Wild Warrior's Shape of the Wild Warrior functions as elemental body I.
  29.
  30. At 8th level, a Wild Warrior can use Shape of the Wild Warrior to change into a Huge or Diminutive animal, a Medium elemental, or a Small or Medium Magical Beast.
