  1. >The school bell rings for you to move to your next class.
  2. >When you pick up your backpack, you are shoved back into your seat by an unfriendly face among the crowd of kids leaving the room.
  3. >Flash.
  4. >That fucking asshole jock who pushes you around and does what he wants.
  5. >Stupid prick.
  6. >You pick yourself up and walk out behind the last kid.
  7. >Like always, waiting for you out in the hallway is your friend Applejack.
  8. >Been best friends since you came to Canterlot High two years ago.
  9. >Wow.
  10. >It's been two years already...
  11. >She smiles at you and you groan a bit.
  12. >"What's the matter sugarcube?"
  13. "It's... It's nothing."
  14. >You start walking and she walks with you.
  15. >"It obviously ain't nothin' if it's got ya down."
  16. >She looks at you for a few seconds as you walk.
  17. >"It's Flash, isn't it?"
  18. "Yeah, how'd you know?"
  19. >She chuckles as she shrugs.
  20. >"Call it a friend's intuition."
  21. >Both of you turn around a corner.
  22. >Walking down the other side of the hallway is one of the hottest girls in the school.
  23. >Rainbow Dash.
  24. >The things you've heard she can do with her thighs...
  25. >God damn.
  26. >But she only hangs out with the most popular of guys.
  27.
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31. >She passes you without even looking.
  32. >You continue your conversation with Applejack.
  33. "He's such a dick sometimes. Always acting like he owns the place."
  34. >"Kinda like Sunset?"
  35. >You shake your head.
  36. "No. Unlike Sunset, he isn't outspoken about it. He's discrete."
  37. >She nods in understanding.
  38. >It is quiet for a little while as you two walk.
  39. "But yeah, Flash is a total dick."
  40. >"He probably sucks a lot of em too."
  41. >You smirk at her joke.
  42. >"Sucks a lot of what?"
  43. >Both of you turn to see Flash right behind you.
  44. >Applejack turns red in the face as she tries to form up a lie.
  45. >"Ah uh... Suckers! Ya know, lollipops! B-Because... Because your breath always smells kinda fruity! R-Right Anon?"
  46. >She looks at you with a really bad attempt at a sincere smile.
  47. >She's never been the best at lying.
  48. >"So you think I smell fruity? Like a girl?"
  49. >Flash then nears her.
  50. >You furrow your brow and shout out.
  51. "Hey!"
  52. >He stops and looks at you.
  53. >"What do you want, Anon? This is between me and her."
  54. "Leave her alone, I was the one who said it."
  55. >He turns toward you with a smug smile.
  56. >"Really then? Tell me, what exactly did you say?"
  57. >Aj is shaking her head for you to not do it.
  58. >But you have to take a stand against him.
  59. >He's been doing this since you first got here.
  60. >And this is what you learned in school, right?
  61. >To stand up to a bully?
  62.
  63.
  64.
  65.
  66. >Kids start to crowd around.
  67. >You gulp.
  68. >Well, here goes nothing.
  69. "I said you suck cocks, you stupid fucking jock faggot."
  70.
  71. >AJ sits with you in the health room as you hold an ice pack to your forehead.
  72. >"Ah ain't never seen someone punch so fast."
  73. "Mhm."
  74. >"Ah almost thought ya fainted from fear."
  75. "Really."
  76. >"It was like he just looked at ya and ya fell over."
  77. "Aj."
  78. >"And it wasn't just a light one either. Ah mean, look how swollen-"
  79. "I GET IT."
  80. >She stops talking and rubs your hand.
  81. >"Oops. Ah'm sorry."
  82. >The nurse comes back with another ice pack and smiles at you both.
  83. >"Aww... Young love is so adorable."
  84. >Aj retracts her hand and both of you scoot away, simultaneously saying "WHAT?!"
  85. >The nurse just smiles at you.
  86. >"There's no need to hide it."
  87. "Hide what?!"
  88. >"We ain't in no relationship, we're just friends!"
  89. >Both of you glare at the nurse and she just laughs.
  90. >"I was the saaame waaay. Never wanted to tell admit it."
  91. >You stand and look at AJ.
  92. "Come on, let's go."
  93. >She stands and you take the ice pack given to you by the grinning nurse.
  94. >When you get back into the hallway, you pull out your phone to check the time.
  95. "Ten minutes until school's out. Might as well start walking to the front."
  96. >You start walking and put away your phone.
  97. >She catches up with you.
  98. >"Well that was mighty strange, wasn't it?"
  99.
  100.
  101.
  102.
  103. >You look at her and see a light blush on her face.
  104. "Yeah, it was. I mean, why would she think that just because we're the opposite gender that we have to be dating?"
  105. >Her eyes look down a little bit.
  106. >"Yeah, we're friends. Just two friends."
  107. >She says that last part a bit strangely.
  108. >You walk with her in silence to the front of the building.
  109. >The bell rings when you reach the door and you exit.
  110. >Applejack lives further away than you, so she has to take the bus.
  111. >You walk with her to her bus.
  112. >"Ah'll uh... Ah'll see ya tomorrow, friend."
  113. >A confused look comes across your face at her tone, but you respond politely.
  114. "See you later Aj."
  115. >She gets on her bus after waving goodbye and you follow the sidewalk to go home.
  116. >Why was she being so weird after what happened in the health room?
  117. >A second earlier she was just being herself, and then she changed instantly.
  118. >Guess Dad was right.
  119. >Girls are strange.
  120. >You reach your house and take the key from your pocket to unlock and open the door.
  121. >Once inside, you call out.
  122. "I'm home!"
  123. >Your father calls back.
  124. >"So am I!"
  125. >After closing the door behind you, you enter.
  126. >Your father comes around the corner.
  127. >"How was sch-"
  128. >He stops once seeing you holding an ice pack up to your head.
  129. >"What happened?"
  130. "I just got in a little fight. It's nothing."
  131. >He nods.
  132. >"Oh..."
  133.
  134.
  135.
  136.
  137. >You stare at each other for a few seconds.
  138. >"I take it you didn't win then."
  139. >You shake your head and make your way to the stairs.
  140. >As you ascend them, your father calls to you.
  141. >"I'll tell your mother you ran into a pole again."
  142. "Thanks Dad."
  143. >Your dad's a pretty cool guy sometimes.
  144. >Once you reach your room, you close the door and throw off your backpack.
  145. >You sit on the bed and continue to hold the ice pack to your head.
  146. >Fucking Flash.
  147. >Stupid faggot.
  148. >One of these days you'll show him.
  149. >...you have no idea how...
  150. >But you'll do it.
  151. >Hopefully...
  152. >You lay down in bed and look up at the ceiling for a little while.
  153. >As you lay in bed, a knock is heard on your door.
  154. "Come in."
  155. >It opens and your jaw drops as Rainbow Dash walks in.
  156. "R-Rainbow, what are-"
  157. >"Shut up kid."
  158. >She sits down on the bed and starts to take off her top.
  159. >You watch with anticipation.
  160. >Her shirt just barely gets to the nipple when a loud stomp startles you.
  161. >You open your eyes and see your mom in the doorway.
  162. >She's shaking her head while looking at your erection.
  163. >Quickly grabbing the pillow to cover yourself, you yell at her.
  164. "M-MOM!"
  165. >"You were having dreams about that girl again, weren't you?"
  166. "NO!"
  167. >She smirks.
  168.
  169.
  170.
  171.
  172. >"It's dinner time honey."
  173. >She turns around and goes downstairs.
  174. >Damn it.
  175. >Need to get a lock for that door...
  176. >You stand up and start to stretch.
  177. >As you stretch, you look out the window at the dark sky.
  178. >Man, you must have been out for a while.
  179. >Suddenly the sky flashes white for a second and you stop stretching.
  180. "The fuck?"
  181. >You walk over to the window and look out at the sky.
  182. >Nothing seems to be different.
  183. "Maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me."
  184. >Just then, you notice a tiny light appear in the darkness of the sky.
  185. >It seems to move across the sky.
  186. >Like a shooting star.
  187. >But...
  188. >Why is it moving so slow?
  189. >It then seemingly stops moving completely.
  190. >And then the tiny line of light curves downward and lands somewhere in front of the house.
  191. >Whoa.
  192. >What was that?
  193. >Maybe some sort of-
  194. >"ANON, IT'S DINNER TIME!"
  195. "COMING!"
  196. >You shake your head and walk down the stairs for dinner.
  197. >It was probably nothing.
  198. >Maybe some space rock or something that caught fire in the atmosphere.
  199. >When you get downstairs, you walk into the dining room and sit at the end of the table.
  200. >A plate of pasta is there.
  201. >Your mom is smiling at you as she eats her food.
  202. >She swallows.
  203. >"I made your favorite!"
  204.
  205.
  206.
  207. "Mom, the last time I said spaghetti was my favorite was when I was ten. I'm seventeen now."
  208. >Your dad gives you a look.
  209. >"Don't talk to your mother like that."
  210. >You nod and eat your food in silence.
  211. >The rest of the dinner is silent as you repress your anger from the fight earlier today.
  212. >When you finish, you stand up and take your plate to the kitchen.
  213. >After you put it in the sink, your mom calls from the dining room.
  214. >"Can you take out the trash?"
  215. >You groan out,
  216. "Alright."
  217. >You take the trash bag out of the can and tie it closed.
  218. >Then you carry it out of the kitchen and leave the house to put it in the dumpster across the street.
  219. >Just after you dispose of the trash, you get curious as to what that thing in the sky was.
  220. >A quick scan of the area is enough to see a tiny crater a few meters away from the dumpster.
  221. >You approach it slowly and peer inside.
  222. >It's a... Watch?
  223. >What would a watch be doing falling from the sky like that?
  224. >Maybe someone dropped it while skydiving?
  225. >...nah.
  226. >That doesn't make any sense.
  227. >What's even more strange is how perfect it looks, considering it just was a flaming mass not too long ago.
  228. >You pick it up and are shocked at how cold it is to the touch.
  229. >Upon further inspection of it, you come to a conclusion.
  230. >This is one nice looking watch.
  231. >You walk back inside with the watch in your hand.
  232. >Without a word to your parents, you go back upstairs and close the door behind you.
  233. >The shiny silver of the watch really pops out when under a light.
  234.
  235.
  236.
  237.
  238. >This aught to get you some attention at school.
  239. >You put it on your wrist.
  240. >Four sharp pains are felt on your wrist where the back of the clock are.
  241. >The veins on your arms bulge out and you yell out in pain as this burning sensation is pumped into your body through this watch.
  242. >As first instinct, you try pulling on the watch to get it off.
  243. >It doesn't bulge, and seems to make the pain coursing through your body intensify.
  244. >You lay on your back with all of your limbs stiff and scream at the top of your lungs.
  245. >Mom's voice is heard from downstairs.
  246. >"Anon?!"
  247. >You scream out once again and try slamming the watch against the wall.
  248. >The wall is more damaged than the watch itself.
  249. >A pressure deep within your chest is felt climbing its way up to your neck.
  250. >The door opens and your mother rushes in with your father right behind her.
  251. >She runs to your side and kneels down.
  252. >"Are you alright? What's wrong baby?"
  253. >You groan out in pain, every vein in your body feeling like it's about to burst.
  254. >The pressure reaches your head and your eyes roll back into your head.
  255. >The last thing you hear is the screams of your mother.
