Character Name: Cassandra Remes
Concept: An automotive student from Missouri who had intended to enlist straight out of high school as an army mechanic. Those plans changed when she got pregnant. She decided to keep the kid, but the father wasn't as keen - so now as a single mom her time has largely been occupied by taking care of her daughter. Five years later, things are more or less stable with Cassandra's job at a local repair shop, but she's been feeling a bit of burn-out. While out shopping around for toys for Rhea, she saw an advertisement for Nintendo's latest hit MMO expansion, Pokemon United Online - Distorted Dream. Feeling a bit of nostalgia for her childhood, and realizing this might well be the only real social life she's had in years, she decided to pick the game up then and there. It wasn't long before a little googling and some forum hunting led her to a Team recruitment, either.

In general, Cassandra is mildly grumpy and down to earth. She doesn't have a lot of patience for her time being wasted, and probably picked a class that looked like it would push big numbers for minimum effort. At the same time, she's somewhat disillusioned with the daily grind and watching her daughter grow up has made her think about what it was like to be a kid, and how she might capture that sense of excitement again. In the few free hours she has between her job and her kid, she hopes for nothing less than something to help rekindle the spark inside of her. And hey, maybe she'll meet someone online, that could be nice.
