Trindrick of Carim, "The Trembling Arsonist"

A proud knight, faulted with a fear of darkness. His cowardice of the twilight caused him to carry a lit torch with him at all times.
Unable to afford as many torches as this would require, he researched and created a type of pyromancy to imbue upon a single iron torch,
so that, supposedly, the fire may never be extinguished. A lack of foresight caused many strongholds and castles to burn to the ground, forever alight as
ashen ruins. How he escaped all these accidents is unknown, as no survivors were ever found amongst the flames, and all that remains of him in
the world are legends. One such claims that his helmet was brazed onto his head due to the intense heat of fortresses he destroyed, now reduced to embers.

He presented his title as of Carim, but all who knew him perished in the fires of his incompetence, leaving no trace of his origins.
An odd coincidence.
