Background:
The merpeople, mermen and mermaids, are born from the tears of Poseidon – god of the oceans or so they say. Being the god of the ocean, of water – Poseidon has great emotions and is often moved by the acts of man. Very often he was brought to tears either by the respect we showed him and the ocean, or by the anger he had to show in order to teach us valuable lessons. When a tear did escape him, you would see it transform into a physical being – a merbeing – and drop through him into the ocean.  This is how they are born, from his emotions they are created. Well that was in the past or a myth as Raina sees it she was born very normaly to Poseidon and his wife Amphitrite. She was their first born and only child so their showerd her with love and pampered her a lot. Even though born underwater as a mermaid as modern day people call it or Syrens the past name for her species she could still transform and go on earth. Her best friend Jungkook is none other than Neptunes son and everyone called them the most powerfull children of the sea loved and respected by every person and animal alike. From birth on they had this very close bond. Unfortunately, because the belief and respect for Poseidon has dwindled among humans the god of the ocean isn't as strong as he used to be anymore. The less people believe in this realm, the less it is apparent and ‘real’. The civilisation of merepeople has thinned out very much do to this and it has become a quite big worry for Raina and her parents. Raina loves the story of atlantis and always felt this bond with the sea allthought despite the fact being able to go on land she prefferd to stay under wate as she loved the people and the familiar surroundings.

Personality- Raina's a very smart and sensitive girl. Due to her sensitive nature she can immediately guess what someones feeling or going trough just by the expression on their face and their gestures. Raina always keeps her calm like a sea without waves and has a advise or solution ready for any situation. Her friend know they can always count on her whenever they need a safe haven in a storm. Suprisingly raina has this side to her were she loves to crack dry jokes and make random comments. She's the embodiment of sassy sarcastic as she's the one of the group to look calm at a chaotic situation her friends create from a distance and give the comments on how stupid they are being. Despite her cool character she deeply cares for her beloved ones and is one of the loyalest persons on earth you can find. When Raina's mad or irritated she can hide it quite well behind a cold mask (poker face) and people who dont know her very well tend to think she doesnt really care about anything and is non-emotional. On the other hand the people who know her very well will immediately know somethings wrong as her face is emotionless but the rest of her gestures are very tensed and even cold. If she falls in love she will become very sarcastic to hide her true feeling saying the opposite of what she means always confusing her crush, but if they are able to look trough her cover they will find the sweet and gentle girl they were looking for. The only time raina's personality will make a 360 degree change is in the morning when she hasnt had her coffee. Then she will be the walking dead and you better run as she might even hit you with a pan.

He wont let her slip away that easly and when he finally has her he will be the really sweet and teasing boyfriend only accepting it if she calls him oppa.
