  1. <DM> *Last time! You all found out that one guard dude that wasn't suspicious has a name - Tros. Hopefully, we don't run into the name curse from the Corruption quest.
  2. <DM> *Anyhow, you met with Fado, the goat herder, big beefy dude that has a really loud voice. He's got suspicions with Milo, the new mayor, along with his guards. Just as he's about to tell you something, one of the suspicious guards interrupts you. Flareclaw, in a fit of "screw you", burns him, but before it escalates further, Fado decides to go with the guard.*
  3. <DM> *You then checked out the West Guardhouse to find Tros there. Inside, you investigated and found a hidden trapdoor underneath a bunch of seemingly unorganized tools. After blowing it open, you found a dark chamber where you fought two weird guards, that turned out to be..... well.... not human for sure.*
  4. <DM> *You defeated them, and then just when you tasted victory, you got pwned by a loading screen.*

  6. * Lunaria attempts to get the cells open
  7. <DM> *After Flareclaw disintegrated that last Acheman, it lit the fire in the torch back, so now you guys can see once again, instead of just Lunaria.*
  8. <DM> *The rest of you folks finally see there's a wall of prison bars, behind which you can see some very pale-looking villagers and are all nearly collapsed.*
  9. <Nimono> ah, finally...light
  10. <DM> *Lunaria, roll Power vs..... 15 successes.
  11. <Nimono> wh...what's going on here?!
  12. <Lunaria> uh
  13. * Flareclaw walks up to the prison bars, and gets a closer look at the poor folk on the other side.
  14. <Lunaria> wait, there isn't a door or anything to the cells?

  29. <DM> otherwise, I think smash 4 *COUGH*
  30. <Nimono> ((just name it OrdonVillager))
  31. * Lunaria tries to help her up

  35. * OrdonVillager passes back out.
  36. <DM> *Whelp, so much for that.
  37. * Flareclaw points at Nimono, then OrdonVillager, as if he's signaling something.
  38. <Nimono> ?!
  39. <Nimono> Gimme a moment, Flareclaw..
  40. * Nimono drinks a Magic Jar to recover 6m (7m), then casts Heal Beam, alpha (5m) on OrdonVillager
  41. <DM> *The heal beam causes her to glow for a moment, returning the color to her skin. She awakens a bit later.*
  42. <OrdonVillager> Ah.. what happened?
  43. <Lunaria> you passed out just moments prior
  44. <OrdonVillager> Oh... it's those darn bat people...
  45. <Nimono> bat people?
  46. <OrdonVillager> They've been draining our lives every day since Milo took over. I don't know how long it's been...
  47. <OrdonVillager> Yes, those "people" are actually Achemen, these horrifying beings that can transform to look exactly like us.
  48. <OrdonVillager> Ugh, if I'd known that, I would've beaten the first slimy one that got its hands on me into a pulp!
  49. <Nimono> Ever since Milo took over...? Is he behind this...?
  50. <OrdonVillager> Yeah, definitely. Mayor Bo suddenly got ill one day, and then Milo suddenly appeared in town and just kerblam, took things over!
  51. <OrdonVillager> Must've been while Fado was out, or else he would've punched Milo's crummy little face in, like KERBLAM!
  52. * OrdonVillager makes a motion with her hands to signify the KERBLAM part.
  53. <Lunaria> Well
  54. <Lunaria> We killed two... do you know how many there are?
  55. <OrdonVillager> Umm.. I don't know for sure. There's at least 5.
  56. <OrdonVillager> Milo included. I'm pretty sure he's one of 'em.

  58. <Nimono> yeah, that wouldn't surprise me...
  59. <Lunaria> well we better get everyone out here then before the others show up...
  60. * Lunaria checks on the other people
  61. <OrdonVillager> Yeah. If I may know, who are you folks?
  62. <DM> *The rest of the folks are conscious but can barely move or even mutter anything.
  63. * Flareclaw looks around for an alternate route to take.
  64. <DM> *You'll probably have to carry 'em outta here. Don't worry, you don't need to Power stat it to pick 'em up.
  65. <Nimono> we're travellers who came here at the request of the mayor, actually, to help stop the moblin invasions...then we found this

  69. <OrdonVillager> My name's Kite, I normally train people here and adventurers how to use swords.... though I'm still kind of weak. I don't think I can help you folks directly just yet.
  70. * Flareclaw flies a random Kite in the cell...
  71. <Nimono> That's ok, just worry about recovering right now

  73. <DM> *Flareclaw, in looking for an alternate route, you find there's a crack at back wall of the prison side.

  75. <Kite> Alright, thank you all. Where are we, anyways?
  76. <Kite> Is this still in Ordon?
  77. <Nimono> yeah, we're apparently under the west guardhouse...I think...
  78. <Nimono> i don't know how long the tunnels were...
  79. * Flareclaw points to Lunaria, then motions to the crack in the wall.
  80. <Kite> Under? I didn't know there were tunnels under Ordon...
  81. * Lunaria heads over and prepares a bomb
  82. * Kite helps to get everyone away from that wall.
  83. * Flareclaw gathers a villager and retreats to the other side of the wall.
  84. <Lunaria> wait
  85. <Lunaria> hangon
  86. <Lunaria> won't this cause a cave in?
  87. <Flareclaw> *room
  88. <Lunaria> we should get the people topside first
  89. <Nimono> good point...
  90. <Kite> Yeah, let's do so.
  91. * DM puts away the party-wipe plans.

  98. * Flareclaw makes his way back into the hallway with a villager.
  99. * Tyria_Lazzen travels to the hallway, reluctant of the hallway

  101. <DM> *There were no other routes, so I assume you guys just get back to the ladder.
  102. <DM> *Save for well.. that one crack in the wall.
  103. <DM> *You hear... footsteps from above... lots of footsteps.
  104. <DM> *I don't think Tros can make all of them, either...
  105. <Kite> Oh great, there must be a bunch of 'em up there.
  106. <Nimono> ...something tells me tros wasn't able to keep the explosion a secret...
  107. <Kite> Tros?
  108. <Kite> Wait, he's still here?
  109. <Nimono> Yeah, we saved him when we first got her

  114. <DM> *Suddenly, one of the set of footsteps approaches where the top of the ladder leads to.
  115. <DM> *You hear a conversation:
  116. <DM> [Voice1]: No, I'm saying we should feed off the prisoners again.
  117. <DM> [Voice2]: But the Moblins are attacking in only a few minutes, there's no time!
  118. <DM> [Voice1]: Fine then, we'll feed afterwards! Soon, the feeding will be complete... grargh, I can't wait!
  119. <DM> *You hear more footsteps, heading away... and eventually, nothing.
  120. <Nimono> ...oh boy...
  121. <Kite> ... I think it might be clear now.
  122. <Nimono> yeah, let's head up now
  123. <Nimono> hopefully tros is still here...
  124. * Nimono climbs up the ladder
  125. <DM> *Nimono, you climb the ladder, annnnd it appears to be clear.
  126. <Nimono> coast is clear, everyone!
  127. * Flareclaw follows Nimono.

  137. * Tros pokes his head in, noticing you all.

  140. * Tros enters and shuts the door behind him.
  141. <Tros> I see you got- oh hey, Kite, you're still alive! What happened?!
  142. <Kite> Imprisoned by those darn bat things, that's what happened. They're Achemen, Tros.
  143. <Tros> Huh, where have I heard of... oooooh, I remember hearing something like them taking over Saria Town! Oh no, what're they up to now?
  144. * Tros looks Nimono.
  145. <Tros> What can we do to help you?
  146. <Lunaria> Take care of all the villagers
  147. <Lunaria> they are in a bad state
  148. * Tyria_Lazzen yawns
  149. <Nimono> Yeah, we need somewhere safe they can rest and recover
  150. <Nimono> but right now, knowing there's Achemen around, I don't quite trust the inn...
  151. <Tros> Hmm... all of them can use swords, so with some rest, we could set up a trap in the prison cell.

  153. <Nimono> also, we just heard two of the achemen talking about how they're planning to "feed" on them again soon, if not for the moblin attacks...

  155. <Lunaria> how do you know about the prison cell tros?

  158. <Nimono> um, isn't it logical to assume there's one given one was just told a person was "imprisoned"?

  169. * Flareclaw has an epiphany, as a literal light-bulb flashes above his head.

  172. <Nimono> somehow I get the feeling Flareclaw has the same idea I do
  173. * Flareclaw puts 2 and 2 together; we could set up a trap. ... For the achemen. ... involving a cave-in. ...

  185. <Kite> Hey Tros, how many of those guards are there?
  186. <Tros> At least 10.
  187. <Nimono> blow up the wall to get rid of the achemen...? haha, I was thinking the same thing, flareclaw! great idea!
  188. <Tros> Only three of them frequent this guardhouse. We can probably get them.
  189. <Lunaria> I guess...
  190. <Tros> Though the rest will notice tomorrow for sure...
  191. * Lunaria heads down to start filling the cell room up with bombs

  261. <DM> *Guard3 then notices the bombs lighting up.

  264. <DM> *THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN OR HIDE, FOLKS!

  287. <DM> *Just then, the bombs go off, making Michael Bay proud and engulfing the guards in explosions. If that didn't finish them, some conveniently placed structural damage falls on them, finishing them off. As you run away and get up the ladder, the end-tail of the explosion catches you, flinging you out of the hatch and causing you to take 5 damage.

  329. <Tros> We can probably stay the night safely in the west guardhouse, but after that, we're either going to need another place or have to act ASAP>

  331. <Tyria_Lazzen> Someone will need to wake me up earlier, I can barely move physically
  332. <DM> *So, now that the passage is opened up via the floor of one of the barracks' rooms falling, anyone wanna check it out?
