- Herbed Citrus Salmon

- Ingredients for Marinated Salmon
- 2 6oz-8oz pieces Salmon Filets
- 1/2 Cup (reserve 1 tsp) of 1 Orange, juiced
- 1 sprig bruised Fresh Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
- Directions
- Assemble all ingredients.
- In a shallow container stir together orange juice, thyme and Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt until salt is dissolved.
- Dress/ coat each piece with the marinade.
- Leave salmon skin side up in the shallow pan. Cover with plastic wrap
- Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes.
- While salmon is marinating assemble the Citrus Herbed Butter.
- Ingredients for Citrus Herbed Butter
- 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Orange Zest, fresh
- 1 tsp Thyme, fresh leaves only
- 1 tsp Rosemary, fresh leaves, rough chopped
- 1 tbsp Italian Parsley, leaves rough chopped
- 1 tsp Orange Juice
- Directions
- Assemble all ingredients.
- Combine all ingredients together well to form a well-blended spreadable paste.
- Set aside in fridge.
- Assembly Ingredients
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
- Citrus Herbed Butter
- Directions
- Assemble all ingredients.
- Remove salmon from marinade & lightly dry off fish with a paper towel.
- Place fish on baking pan; drizzle with olive oil to coat fish pieces.
- Place fish, skin side down, under preheated broiler for approx. 5 minutes.
- Remove from broiler; place on serving plate.
- Top each piece of fish with 1 tsp of Citrus Herbed butter.
- Garnish each piece of fish with 1/8 tsp of Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt.
- Serve immediately.
