“…for in Chin village, every day is Avatar day!” shouts and cries of people angry and joyous filled the streets as effigies of past Avatars were set aflame. Aang’s was, thankfully, absent. He probably wouldn’t have handled it well if he saw this scene almost immediately after his journey started.

Sokka, Visola, and Aang were still a distance away from the village. I flew over it, just above the clouds. My dog-shaped head and its superior ears were able to catch on to most of what was being said far below me. This was what it felt like, I mused, to be a predator drone.
