okay i'm gonna jot down thoughts on this fire emblem/pokemon crossover idea

so operating under the idea that this is outside of existing canon (so all new characters)

in an RP group scenario there'd probably be one or two main lords (i like twin lords, maybe...that again....) who would be NPCs and then a handful of NPC characters but mostly everyone would be able to choose a class and a type to specialize in; they'd be given a first-stage pokemon based on that type that would be their starting partner, but they could choose a best-link partner that they would acquire over the course of the RP

not sure on a plot but i feel like xerneas and yvetal would be the best link legendaries of the twin lords, only one lord gets brainwashed by yvetal and ends up basically going grima and it's a bad time

personal skills are used in the place of Warlord Powers and each character is able to have a Stage 1 and Stage 2 form (and mods would be able to get a Stage 3 form as well) influenced by their best link pokemon

weapons could be influenced by type specialization, i think?  and you could only link with 3-5 pokemon max, before having to release them back into the wild
